Hôtel Tilde

The staff was really friendly and there were two Metros nearby. The room had a coffee maker (Nespresso) and there were some baked goods in the reception area.

The location is close to the Metro but there were a lot of addicts in the area - the area seems to be known for this by locals, not by tourists. When leaving the hotel you’re supposed to hand the room key back in at the reception and the doors are locked at night. There’s no option to enter the premise with the room key and sometimes the staff didn’t hear the bell at night so we stood outside for a bit and it felt a bit scary with the strange people in the area. The shower was ice cold for a while and just as I thought it was broken the water finally heated up. There was no option to hang towels in my room, my sister’s room did have a hook for towels. The bathroom was also very small but ok for one person at a time. Overall the room was quite moist.

Everything. Cozy, simple, warm atmosphere. The room is a bit too small but clean, modern and nice. Staff very kind, since the booking I had a problem with my card they keep the reservation in the same way, when I reach they gave me suggest on place where to eat and were always available at the reception for any info. Little appreciated details, for example I could have a bottle of water at late night without charge. Key card comfortable to use and when you left home you leave it at the reception which is open 24h. It is in the 19th arrondissement of Paris a bit from the center, but anyway I found the area ok and well connected to the center (bus and metro Riquet are super close). For me was super comfortable the position as I had to be in The CENTQUATRE-PARIS which is at 5 minute walking distance.

The room is a bit small (but I think is in the standard in Paris) and I find a bit difficult to manage the temperature in the room which was always a bit too high. Nothing else.

A very good location for an urban stay in Paris. The hotel in right next to a metro station for access to the tourist sights of Paris, and easy to get to and from Paris-CDG Airport. The availability of 24-hour check-in was important for us, as our flight arrived late evening. Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was small as expected, was very clean and quite, and the bed was comfortable. A good, comprehensive continental breakfast is available. A large, well stocked supermarket 2 minutes walk from hotel. Several boulangeries, small retail shops and many cheap, good value restaurants in close vicinity. Overall good value for the price and would stay here again.

It was really close to the Metro station (either Riquet or Stalingrad, both less than a 5 min walk) - around 20 mins to the Louvre and 30 mins to the Eiffel Tower. 50 mins from Charles de Gaulle airport and an hour from Disneyland using the RER transport network. Ticket machines on site, use T+ for single tickets (one-way) at €2.10 or all day for €8.95, select Mobilis. Valid on all transport networks. (Train, metro, bus). The price was the lowest of the hotels we’d seen but didn’t compromise on quality - the room was really clean but might be considered a little small by some. There was a canal close by with nice views and was situated on a busy street with a bakery next door (you must visit!) and a boulangerie (sandwich shop). If you’re after takeout, there’s a Dominos close by with good deals (£8.99 for large pizzas on Tuesday and Thursdays). The hotel served a nice breakfast (continental - croissants, pain au chocolats etc) but there are options for the bakery and supermarket next door. The Franprix across the street is quite pricey.

There was nowhere to hang our clothes but not too much of an issue for us as we travelled light. The gym, we felt, was not really useable as felt more of a storage area for gym equipment than a fully functioning gym. Just something to bear in mind.

The rooms were very small (like the size of a bedroom) but being in Paris, I believe this is normal. Stayed with a girl friend and we both managed to get ready (which is extensive, we’re in our late 20s so hair, makeup, changing, wash up), despite the small amount of space. The room was very clean and felt new/modern. The bed was comfortable, but would have liked 2 more pillows. Cute little balcony/window! Functioning Nespresso machine in room. Two macaroons and a welcome note on bed upon arrival. The A/C was working relatively well, sometimes got hot at night after showering. Just steps from the metro, felt like surrounding area/location was safe enough for 2 young females (I’m from NYC). I never felt unsafe and they lock the front doors at night, so you have to buzz to get in. Overall, great for a short stay in Paris!

The size of the rooms and building

This Hotel is fabulous! I travelled with my mum for her 60th Birthday and we wanted a hotel that wasn't too expensive as we wanted to spend time exploring Paris and going on a lot of excursions. The tram stop is located a few minutes walk from the hotel so we were able to travel to all of the famous landmarks in Paris very easily. The hotel staff were so lovely, helpful and friendly and really made it a perfect stay, Julian was really kind and even played some birthday music for my mum for breakfast. The rooms were super clean and fresh towels daily and cleaned daily. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they have a lovely breakfast buffet that you can have in the mornings although we decided to eat out most mornings. There are sockets next to the beds to charge phones. The rooms are quite small but we didnt mind that, for the price of the hotel this really was excellent value for money. There is a beautiful canal at the back of the hotel and I had a jog along the canal in the morning and felt safe as there were alot of other joggers. There is also plenty of little bakeries and some nice bars/cafes at the end of the canal, 5/10mins walk from hotel. The receptions is staffed 24/7. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to couples or solo travellers.

Nothing it was a really lovely stay.

Stuff was super friendly! We arrived 1.5 hour earlier and could immediately check-in. The room was certainly taken care of for 3***. The administrator asked about the size of our car because apparently there are 2 parkings in the neighbourhood but it’s problematic to enter one of them with a big vehicle (nice thinking!). Next day after checking out we left our luggage at the reception (absolutely for free) and returned to pick it up only in the evening. There is no bar at the hotel but they have a very decent Nespresso coffee machine so we were even able to fill our thermos with coffee before we left. There are 2 metro stations very close by so totally no problem to get to the city center. Thank you Tilde

Very friendly stuff. Very clean. We were on the third floor and there was very minor noise from the street and the metro. Metro station is literally next to the hotel. Nice location with a canal and a park near by.

The WiFi didn't work almost the whole time, except for the first evening. Asked the receptionist, who changed our password but after some hours the same problem. We had mobile data available anyway so... There is only one key to the parking lot which apparently must stay at the reception. So if you need access to your car you have to ask for the key and then bring it back before departing.

The accommodation is very well located directly at a metro station. This makes it easy to reach everything. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The rooms are much smaller than they look in the pictures. What I find now not negative because the square meter number is correctly specified.

The rooms are very noisy. Especially if you have noisy neighbors, this can be very disturbing if you are looking for a restful sleep. It is clean but especially the shower could be cleaned thoroughly.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ok once you get your bearings, the metro is very near and so easy to use and get around Paris. Nice breakfast.

We had a triple room which was quite compact and not too much space for 3 of us to relax in the room without sitting on the bed. A room this size also needs more hanging space/bigger bathroom. We also booked a double room for 1 night for another family member and the double room was far more spacious than the triple room.
