St Christopher's Inn Paris - Canal0

It was so nice to have many oppurtunities to meet people. The events helped us a lot. And it was safe.

Laundry was very expensive. There’s another laundry place next to there and its almost 1:2 price of the hostel. I think hostel needs to be cheaper around their laundries. And check in is so late.

Nice staff, always willing to help, good meals and drinks, laundry service inside the building and facilities were really clean

The building SHOULD NOT charge you for save your stuff in early check-in, there is no deposit to save your stuff, there is only a pay deposit early check-in which makes no sense, late check-out is fine, but you should consider the early check-in because is not fair. Besides, there was no cleaning service either in the room or bed that I was assigned, sheets were dirty.

The beds have curtains, the bathroom is very clean all the time, the room is big enough, really confortable

Exists a tax/fee that i paid in the check in that was supposed to be 1€per night (city tax) plus something more I paid a lot more than it, and i asked three times how much was the city tax and everytime they replied me something different In the end i still dont know how much i paid in city tax and the other tax, they just returned me 2€ and I gave up trying to understand

- honestly not sure why the reviews are so low, this was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in - the 6 bed dorm was very spacious, there were curtains and power points in the beds. There was lockable storage also underneath, however these are slightly noisy - the bathroom facilities were always clean and plenty available. The sink in the room was also nice - the bar and restaurant downstairs was cool with cheap food and drinks - location is good, 5 min walk to two metro stations with easy access to all sights - the nearby canal was nice to walk along - excellent value for money compared to other top rated hostels

- the washing machine and dryer cost €8, not the cheapest

I really enjoyed my stay here! Clean, sink inside room, 24hour service for help, lounge to eat and hangout, bar with very social vibes (especially in evenings)! I especially liked the free events every night! I met lots of friends while staying here! I had really great experience with Nina, one of the staff members. She was super welcoming and kind and made an effort to make even the smallest parts better for me. Thank you!!

It is a bit far from the classic Paris monuments/events, but very close to 2 metro stations! The street was quite noisy at night (if you’re picky on noise while you sleep). The rooms were also quite hot at night and the shower temperatures changed a lot (always warm or hot but sometimes too hot). Nothing too big of a deal!

- comfortable bed - huge locker - plugs by each bed and privacy curtains - clean and specious dorms - events organised at the hostel - close to metro, supermarket and bakery

- light by bed is a joke. It doesn’t give almost any light - if you want to leave your bag there for few hours before or after your stay, you need to pay. It’s ridiculous. I stayed in many hostels around the world and it’s the first one with this policy - no towel unless you pay for it - it’s quite loud at night, because of the bar that is at the ground floor. People go outside to smoke and they’re very loud - far from the city centre but it’s close to metro - bathroom could be cleaner - you need to leave deposit 2€ (I paid by card and got it back in coins)

My stay at this property was enhanced by its fantastic location, ensuring convenient access to key attractions. The cleanliness was commendable, and the restaurant facilities offered a variety of quality options. The proximity to public transportation made exploring the area hassle-free, and the reliable wifi added to the overall convenience.

On the downside, the bunk bed arrangement was less than ideal, and the difficulty in opening storage for bags was a minor inconvenience. While the cleanliness was generally good, there’s room for improvement in maintaining the washrooms to a higher standard.

This St Christopher was a really good. Location is a bit far from center and metro, but really nice place with terrace and bar, small restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was a little modest but relatively good, depends time. It's serving really long cca to 10:00. Downstairs is really busy life.

Bathroom were in corridors for all and a little damage, also reception is really small and hostel is huge, can't easy proceed,really somewhere very tiny. Small basin was also in room, but like every of this chain Christopher hostels ... a little noisy...

The location on the canal is beautiful and there was a lot of fun stuff to do there during Paris Plages. For a hostel, St. Christopher's Inn is comfortable. I stayed in a 4-bed women's dormitory. Every bed had a curtain which helped for privacy and to shut out the light. The bathroom was shared in the hallway. There were lockers in each room but you had to buy your own lock. So also have to either bring or pay for your own towel and other amenities.

There was very little AC in our room, so it was hot when the bed curtain was closed. There also wasn't much space to put suitcases in the room. The breakfast was good, not amazing, but it was so nice to be able to eat it on the patio next to the canal.

Ok overall

The top floor bathroom needs full renewal.
