ibis Budget Paris La Villette 19ème

A very good price for Paris ( booked well in advance of trip). A metro at end of street, a supermarket next door, two fairly decent bar restaurants opposite metro, along with a bakery. Round corner from metro was also a Macdonald's and a subway. Link into all main attractions was easy. We felt safe walking around here, even when dark. Car park under hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean. A great stay, would definatly stay here again.

This is an Ibis Budget so room for three a bit on small side and no separate bathroom, just a shower within the room. But we did know this before we went and there to see Paris so didn t spend much time in room. I m not complaining about this, that is how Ibis Budget's are, just pointing it out to anyone who may not know this this is a great value hotel and I d stay again.

entire staff was very friendly, gave us an upgrade to a larger room. unfortunately, there were ants in the room. staff apologetic and quickly reassigned room to normal room which we enjoyed (double bed and a bunk bed for our daughter). room was clean and quiet even though it was by the elevator. location was a few metro stops from gare du nord, has a grocery store right next door, a couple of pharmacies and restaurants close by. breakfast was a bread/cheese/fruit set up, simple but filling. lots of families were there, a few student groups. didn’t feel at all crowded. we were there for two nights visiting disneyland one day; several other families were there doing the same.

Worthing breakfast and nice coffee, better than I expected! Stuff was polite while working and really helpful when I asked info about the city.

Cleaning service and provided towels could be more neat. 1 towel per person, but sometimes one was forgotten while changed every day. Stayed for 3 nights, when I asked twice for more at the reception I was willingly given one. When first arrived I saw that the sink was almost clogged but I left the room for a walk. When I came back at night it was working good...

It was nice and comfortable and reception allowed for our late arrival time. Close to facilities and within walking distance of the Gare Du Nord (1.6km). Breakfast had choice and was very acceptable.

Had difficulty finding somewhere to eat on Sunday night close to the hotel.

bunk bed was not done any of the days of the stay only the double bed was done, breakfast is for the price you pay way too basic, second day not even cereal was available i will recommend go outside to one of the nearby cafeterias

Exactly what you expect for this price and even more! helpful staff, clean rooms and comfy beds. they gave us access to the room earlier than checkin to save us the baggage service.

Everything was good, staff, location, cleanliness

Only one thing and that’s room toilet. You can’t properly do what you need when someone else is in the room too.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy access to transport for the ‘big’ landmarks and close to GDN. Breakfast was plentiful and fine - croissants, fruit, cereal, juice, tea etc was on offer. Fine for a couple of days - I think we’d have got a bit bored with the choices if any longer. I felt the room, despite the niggles we didn’t like, was extremely good value.

No lock on bathroom door, shower screen see through, area around is ‘interesting’, beds with the bunk ‘above’ were so cramped. Rooms are absolutely tiny. Window opened out onto the roof which with two small kids seemed like really poor allocation.

The staff are really friendly and caring. The location is really good and tbe safety is high enough. The access to different lines of Metro and some bus make it perfect. There are tons of restahrants near. Access to main points of Paris is really easy in 30 minutes. The rooms are small but clean. The service contains towels and sheets only. You have to have slippers, theeth brush and tissue your self. Generally, we were comfortable and we enjoyed 1 week thereand only the big problem was the toilett.

What I did not like was the toilet. It is basically in the room with a door which is open at bottom and top. With no fan. It is really difficult to use toillet because everyone can hear. Also, the breakfast ia only cold breakfast. Containing Crossant, cakes, cheese, butter, jams, nutella, fruits, breads and all the drinks hot and cold. However I guess it may not be the best option and I am mot sure if it worths the price.

The location is great for such a budget Hotel. Metro and Buses only 2 mins away. Staff were all friendly and approachable, we got stuck with our petit french and they all had basic english. Also responded to our request to move us from the street side to the other side of the corridor. Breakfast was good. Missing toilet lock and Shower in the room did not bother us at all.

The rooms are too small, even for a budget Hotel. It was 3 of us in the room. Only one chair (due to lack of space) and no shelf or anything to put clothes into. The road noise was loud on that street side but we were able to swap to the other side of the corridor. The room service was random - they ignore the third bed/person, so only two towels and bunk bed not made, not enough loo roll. Unfortunately no means at all to make tea & coffee and no access to Water fountain in the day/night (only during breakfast). A lot of extra costs for hot drinks and water we had to buy during the day!
