Campanile Paris 19 - La Villette

Room was spacious and exceptionally clean, we felt comfortable. Enjoyed the offering of tea and coffee in the room, it was refreshing after a long drive. The temperature inside the room was warm throughout, which we found agreeable. Wifi had excellent speed throughout our stay. Everything at the breakfast buffet was perfect, although the scrambled eggs and sausages had a somewhat odd flavour. Not bad, but odd. It was convenient to have access to breakfast at the hotel. Parking offered at the hotel is competitively priced (€20 per night). I'm disabled so the added accessibility offered by parking under the hotel was the main reason I booked here. Please note you can't reserve a parking space ahead of time, it depends on availability when you arrive. I messaged the hotel about it and they said they could make no promises of availability, but would try their best for us, which I thought was really accomodating. We arrived early and indeed there was a spot for us. The staff was super friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Public transit was easily reachable from the hotel. Neighbourhood was a typical Parisian neighbourhood, we enjoyed the vibes. There's supermarkets and lots of eateries nearby. I think our room wasn't on the street-facing side of the hotel, but nevertheless, we could hear a lot of emergency service sirens day and night. This didn't bother us, but if you're a light sleeper, maybe some ear plugs would be a good idea. The mattress is on the hard side, but we had a comfortable sleep nonetheless. All the sheets were very clean and the room smelled good. The beds are a nice size. The rooms are well-furnished, with chairs, desk, hangers, kettle, luggage holder, tv. Overall, you definitely get a three star experience here. Economical and totally pleasant. I would recommend staying here.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was excellent it was easy to make connections to the Gare du Nord or Gare l'est and then into town .. It is on Line #7. There are many great small restaurants in the area, a laundromat, a grocery across the street, too, and to catch the Metro is about 2 blocks from 2 stops. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices, hot eggs and sausages , fruits, cereals, yogurt. I noticed they did have an enclosed parking lot which might be helpful. There is a bar lounge area w music at night. The hotel also kept our luggage for many hours before we went back to CDG. Rooms are small but clean and beds comfortable. Will stay again in this quiet area.

Nothing, Paris rooms are small everywhere

Location was great, just down the road from a metro station, 2 supermarkets (One across street and one on the way to the metro) Room was clean/tidy/comfortable. We was at the back of the building so nice and quiet at night for a good night's sleep. Reception staff were friendly and pleasant and delt with any queries we had during our stay. Overall, we we're very happy with a choice to stay here.

Only negative we have is that on the morning of check out it says you have the room until midday, we was heading out for 10am and we had the cleaning staff banging on our door repeatedly from 9.30am asking when we was leaving even though we told them numerous time we were packing and heading out at 10am. We had the do not disturb sign on our door so why they kept coming back to our room I don't know but it was unnecessary and just plain annoying for the end of our hotel experience after having such a positive one.

The staff was excellent - both at the reception, and the waiter in the bar. This is not so common nowadays. Polite, friendly, helpful. Also, I liked the "buzzing" atmosphere - the hotel has many guests, the reception is open even at late hours. Also, the area seems safe and lively - if you come back late to the hotel, there are still Kebab or pizza shops open around, even a couple of bakeries that were open quiet late.

The hotel is not so close to city centre, but we registered for Velib, the city electric bike, so we had a great time cycling to the centre of Paris.

The Staff were really nice, we always asked them for directions on how to get to places around Paris and they are always helpful. We faced a little issue when we arrived as our AC in the room was not working properly and Mr. Naiem at the Reception /Front Desk was really understanding as he helped as try to solve the issue and them relocate us to another room. He was really professional. The hotel is very close to the Metro station and it goes directly to any touristic place that we want to visit plus the area is quite.

- hotel is located pretty close to the metro station Crimee (5 minutes walk)and there are a lot of shops nearby - room was clean, because cleaning service works every day - on the zero floor there is a restaurant. additionally we bought breakfast and it’s pretty cheap from my perspective (near 13 euro per person) - on the reception you can print documents for free. I’m not sure that it still will be free if you need to print a huge amount of sheets, but at least boarder passes were printed without additional payment. - we arrived a bit earlier (near 12 p.m.) but got key from our room immediately - Room also includes teapot, free tea and coffee

- When we arrived we were starving and bought in restaurant two pizzas. And actually pizzas were like from supermarket (with cheap dough). But it mostly was our mistake, since we were able to buy standard food. However I don’t recommend pizza in restaurant. - Hair dryer works, but button is not comfortable.

staff was really helpful and the checkin etc was easy. parking spot near hotel was very convenient and the location was awesome within 2min walking distance of a metro and bus line going straight to Paris' landmarks like Louvre, Eiffeltower and Sacre Coeur. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to covid, but the staff informed us we could get the last night paid back if we checked out before 12pm the day before. Which was very thoughtful.

There was only one elevator out of three that could go to the garage but it was not properly stated on the outside so it was continuously taken by people going up (who could've taken the other two elevators). After testing positive for covid and trying to keep a distance from people, we had to wait in the lobby for a long time until we could finally take our luggage down to the car.

The hotel is clean & comfortable & well maintained. The staff is polite, helpful and friendly. It's located in broader center in residential zone - with bakeries, stores, street food restaurants and a local pub nearby. It's walking distance from Montmartre - some 30 minutes away. The metro stops in close proximity (line 7, as I remember) and it's a fast and direct link to the attractions zone. Also bus stops just in front of the hotel. Altogether, it's a clean and a budget friendly place well connected with the public transportation to the Paris downtown.

Location, very clean, nice and friendly staff. Fast wifi. Good hotel for a short stay, given the fact that we mostly were visiting the city and didn't spend much time in the hotel. Comfortable beds.

Breakfast quite simple (no vegetables), but OK for French standards. Many possibilities of good breakfast nearby. Quite small rooms, empty bath soap container in the bathroom upon our arrival, we had to ask for it.

We loved our stay in this hotel. The staff were very nice and welcoming and we have enjoyed having dinners here. The location of the hotel is good as there were two metro lines that are close by and there was also a shop next to the hotel if you want to buy water, crisps, other essentials and don't want to spend €3 on a bottle of water. There's a sitting area in the ground floor adjacent to the bar where you can enjoy a couple of drinks. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast they have in the mornings. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to maximise their budget while visiting Paris.
