Residhome Paris Rosa Parks

The room was comfortable with a well-designed and well-appointed kitchenette. The hotel is located in an interesting area in the north-east of Paris. Rosa Parks RER station is about 60 metres away. From there it is only two train stops to Central Paris (Gare St.Lazare). Behind the station is the No.3 tram that goes around the periphery of Paris, in particular to the fabulous Parc de La Villette. Buses run to all parts of Paris from the front of the hotel. On Fridays there is a lively fresh food street market opposite the hotel.

There was no information about the hotel's policy that rooms are only cleaned after every 5th night's stay (you can pay for more regular cleaning) and that guests are responsible for disposing of their rubbish between cleans. In the rubbish room there is no clear signage to assist guests to separate general trash from recyclables. Our room was not cleaned on day 6. This omission was rectified the following day.

Nice place, interesting room design, like an apartment. This can be useful for families, because it is possible to, for example, cook food for yourself there. Also, there is a supermarket very close to the hotel. Transport is also close, and at some distance there is a very nice green park. Quite close to the city center. Very important thing - there is a safe in the room, this is very convenient. In general, nice and charming place, I liked it very much! And the breakfast is also very good!

The hotel is just aside railway station. Because of that, you can hear moving trains when in the room. There is nothing to do with that, of course. However, it would be good if they would activate AC during all the year around to be controlled from the room, so that during the night you could close the windows. Otherwise you need to slightly open windows in order to get some fresh air, and then you hear trains till late and from early morning again.

First the location is good because it is only about 2 minutes walk to the Rosa Parks train station, 2 minutes to 2 supermarkets & only 5 minutes to the Crimee Metro station, providing easy access to central Paris. Parking was in a secure underground garage & the cost for this was reasonable. Our room had a good sized fridge, microwave, kettle, induction cook top, sink & dishwasher. The bed was large & comfortable. The shower worked well & had good pressure. The reception desk is manned 24hrs and the staff were helpful providing good information about catching public transport etc.

The aircon in the room did not work well enough, so we opened the windows to let cooler air in, but at night in order to sleep we had to close the windows so we wouldn't hear the trains.

Excellent room, clean, comfy, full kitchen to use. Able to leave baggage before and after check in/out. 2 mins walk from Rosa Parks RER train station. From reading other reviews it sounds were were lucky as we had no noise at all from the train station as we we had a room overlooking the road, but excellent double glazing.

Area was, as others had commented (and I didn't believe them!) a bit dodgy! But as long as you just went to and from Rosa Parks RER there won't be an issue

Very good accommodation for the price. Is a bit faraway of city centre, but if you like walking, in one hour or so you are in Louvre Museum. There is tranway and metro two minutes walking from hotel. The room are large enough for Paris.

No many things to do after 11pm in the sourrondings, so if you want to have dinner late or drinking something, you have to go to city center or order something for delivery. But at the end, this is related to the neighborhood, not to the hotel.

Location (20min from Opera)/ Appartement was comfortable and had bottle of water coffee and tea all set which is nice extra. The view was great the kids loved seing the Eiffel tower+ sacré cœur. Kids had their space and so did us parents.

I didn't like the fact that the heater in the bedroom did not work. The one In the living room was working perfectly so our kids had a good night sleep. But us parents had a hard time it was really cold in our room that's the only red flag we had to mention .

Although not exactly central central the place was easily accessible by public transport which passed by frequently. Ideal hotel for someone which intends to attend to an event in stad de france since it's only 30mins away by direct bus. The room was well equipped especially when it came to kitchen utensils (non stick pans). Room was clean tidy and spacious and staff were friendly.

AC could have been better.

The room was well equipped with a double bed, double sofa bed and a small kitchen area that was surprisingly well equipped, complete with a fridge. A welcome tray including water and tea/coffee supplies and Madeline cakes was a nice touch and unexpected. It was god value for Paris although in the 19th Arrondissement which is outside the city centre, however it was literally 1 minute from Rosa Parks RER station which had regular trains to the city centre, which took around 10 minutes. Staff were friendly, spoke English and very helpful.

The parking garage is a door at the side of the property, the road is busy and you need to ring reception to get them to open the for, this could have been explained better however the rate is very good (€11 per night).
