Athens Center Square Hotel

Room was a nice size and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good plenty of choice Lovely terrace on roof top, with FANTASTIC, view of the Acropolis and city at night❤️ The main town and shopping is 8 mins walk and we use the Red tour bus which was amazing and a 2 mins walk from hotel This hotel is well placed for everything, would stay definitely stay again

One morning ran out of soya milk, so couldn't have hot drink and drinks machine in foyer area kept breaking down, but when working free hot drinks , water and biscuits till 5.30pm

The location is perfect to stay in the heart of Athens, 5 minutes to Plaka and also 5 to Omonia Square. The closest metro Monastiraki is 7 minute by foot. Because is not facing the main street you have to search the Fish market and the hotel is in front of it. If you will look after the name you have to know that on the top of the building is written only ACS not the full name .The hotel was very clean, small rooms but comfy. It is amazing to wake up and to go to sleep with Acropolis in front of the window ! Good breakfast. Great view on the roof top !!!!Good restaurant for traditional food on the corner- Alexandrinos, near the main road. Also you have a supermarket very close to the hotel. Very helpful staff !

Small bathroom. Also small elevator, only for 2 persons. A little bit noisy.

Everything was perfect

You should improve the entrance of the hotel from outside, remove the fruit and vegetables design from the main door since it confuse the guests and make it Classy like indoor. Thank you

We used the hotel as a "base" and took excursions to other cities and hotel stays in Greece. We left all suitcases and expensive purchases in the locked luggage room and everything was kept safe for us over a two week period! Well done! But the most important thing about this hotel are some of the outstanding staff members. There was OUTSTANDING service and support from two people at Reception: Semeli and Maria. These two young ladies went above and beyond the call of duty, especially after our wallets were stolen on the Metro and we had no credit cards or cash. They facilitated us contacting our respective banks to cancel credit and debit cards, as well as direct us to Western Union where family could send us SOS money. Both of these women are so professional, kind and caring. I also want to mention that although this is a 3 star hotel, the housekeeping and breakfast buffet was 5 star. The rooftop view of the Acropolis is amazing and Elsa, the bartender of the rooftop, was so engaging and caring. I've traveled extensively throughout the world and cannot remember another hotel experience with such outstanding staff: Semeli, Maria, Elsa and housekeeping...all of them deserve a raise!!

The location is amazing, the rooms with Acropolis view are spectacular. The roof top it’s brilliant and they even have a bar. The hotel is right close to the main road. Less than 10mins walk from the center square that takes you to shops and the Acropolis. Very close to the beautiful university and many restaurants! The staff is so friendly, available, always available for a chat and they will give advice on the area. We asked for a camomille after the bar closed and they were so kind to bring it. We missed nothing from this hotel!

The place has everything- clean and tidy.Excellent reception staff- very helpful and cooperative. Very good room with all amenities. The breakfast is excellent.

The breakfast staff needs to go school and learn about customer care and politeness. Im a slow eater and enjoy my breakfast. They took the food away when the breakfast time was over and that’s ok, but i was sitting in the dining room and eating from my plate , the staff started making comments and faces and then closed the lights of the room. They wanted to kick me out. That was rude. The entrance of the hotel looks like a entrance of supermarket.

I really love the beds at this hotel, and my husband says they are very comfortable, which has relieved his back pain! The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with a wide variety of bread to choose from, and there's also a diverse selection of beverages. The staff/manager are all very friendly. The hotel's location is convenient, with attractions within walking distance. I highly recommend this place! - A newlywed couple from Taiwan ❤️

The water pressure in the bathroom showerhead is slightly lower.

Location: Just 10 minutes walk from Monastiraki Square tube/metro station, very convenient. There are dozens of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and all the main attractions of Athens are also within walking distance. Breakfast: Delicious range of hot and cold food, including scrambled eggs & baked beans, greek yoghurt & honey, toast, croissants, cereals, tea & coffee & juices, and more besides.

I hated the fact that I had to leave!

The location was great. It was a bit strange being dropped off in the middle of a fruit market. But when the doors to the hotel opened we were pleasantly surprised. It was only an 8 minute walk to Monastraki Square where there were numerous restaurants to choose from and where the flea markets are. The reception staff were very helpful. Plus the view from the roof top bar overlooking the Acropolis and Athens was amazing. Also breakfast had everything you needed to start your day.

The rooftop bar was amazing. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff were very helpful with directions and how to use the metro. They safely stored my luggage for me after I had to check out but wasn’t yet leaving Athens. I also liked the quirkiness of the hotel, and the breakfast was very good.

A small refrigerator in the room would be nice. The area wasn’t as close to the city center as I had hoped. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy, but I should note that I didn’t feel unsafe.
