Best Western City Hotel

Garden-like location close to Central Station and the City Center, we love to walk! Very clean rooms. Desk staff checked us in and out quickly and called cabs for us. We did not use the restaurant but I was happy that it was available in case we were too tired to go out. Also appreciated the parking garage - we considering getting a rental car and this would have been very convenient.

Breakfast did not meet our expectation from prior visits. The "american" coffee served from the machine at breakfast was very bad. The selection of fruit was limited - would have enjoyed more types of cut fruit other than pineapple. Pancakes were cold.

Spacious rooms and halls, VERY good own parking - recommended for auto/moto travels, location right off the city center so no noise but everything's within walking minutes.

They use one of "advanced wifi access management systems" instead of just passwording hotspot. Of course, it glitches like hell. They have 2 whole pages of troubleshooting manuals for it ready at the reception! Yeah, those helped. But you'd think at this point, knowing problems are so common, they would change/drop it instead of having many guests go through the long motions...

The room is nice, clean and spacious. The bathroom was well-kept and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. For a one-night stay, the hotel was great.

The location of the hotel is on the opposite end of the city centre, and therefore about 25 min into the city centre. There are limited food options around the hotel, so it makes it difficult to grab a quick local breakfast on your way out.

The room was really nice and large. everything was impeccably clean and the surroundings was quiet. The beds were excellent. We really appreciated the possibility of parking the car in the garage. The hotel is located outside the city center, but the location is very convenient for making trips outside the city. The bus stop is in front of the hotel and the ride to the city center takes less than 10 minutes.

The breakfast was good for Italian standards, offering sweet and savory, however a bit disappointing for Best Western. Everything else was fine.

Very clean room (bathroom, bed, furniture,...), very comfortable bed and pillows, air-con, wifi, all fine. It is an average walk from the central train station (Bologna Centrale) and is located in a residential area with many grocery stores nearby. If you are a fan of walking you can get to the old city center walking for 20-30 minutes. Behind the hotel opposite to the main street there is a green area dedicated for doing sport like jogging. The area is very beautiful and you can even enjoy a walk. If you book a room without breakfast, you can always decide if you want to have it or not. Simply ask the reception.

Wonderful check in, very helpful and attentive, breakfast was excellent, good choice and wonderful fresh food, very clean and well appointed room (superior), friendly staff.

Location is fine but walk to city centre (old town) has some areas that are a bit "uncertain" at night and do not feel fully safe bu around the hotel itself feels fine.

I stayed in one of the junior suites and it was a nice stay. The staff is really friendly and nice, the room was spacious and very tidy.

The breakfast was a little bit underwhelming but completely ok. The suites are situated at the most noisy part of the building due to the traffic. If you prefer more silence you might wanna take another room option.

Nice location, only 15 minutes walk from Bologna Centrale Station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Twin room was spacious and clean.

Although area around hotel was quiet, could still hear noice from adjoining rooms. Only a minor inconvenience though.

Hotel was very clean, nice location. Breakfast was 7,50 € per person, but is was fresh and worth it.

Noise! Honestly we heard every single move of the family in the room next to ours, nd after them (i assume they have cheked out) the cleaning lafy was smashing the hoover into every angle of the room next door. After that without knocking she just walked in our room as we were in bed! And all of rhet by from 7 to 8 am of sunday morning!!!! Mattress was super rigid and you can feel every spring. We were reccomended to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant, the receptionist said we had 10% discount. We said we will give it a shot next day as we had an warly start next morning. All pf that to find out next evening that the restaurant was closed! Why would you reccomend the restaurant and when you are told specifically that we will go tomorrow and it is closed on that day?!?!?!

It's very close to a bus station that takes you straight to the city centre. You can also walk 10 min to the central station. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet 10/10.

The hotel seems a little bit old but other than that it's perfect. Besides everything works perfectly.
