Hotel Centrale

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the sights and resturants. The staff are friendly and always greet you, they were the best part of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked well so we had a couple of good night's sleep, we didn't hear any noise. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff work hard to make sure they seat you right away and keep everything clean and stocked. The food was good and included some savoury sandwiches, sweet treats, youghurts, fruit, eggs and bacon. They also had soya milk.

The room is decorated in an old fashioned way and would benefit from an update. However it was clean and everything worked well, so it's a minor issue.

Apartment is located to central area, close to supermarket, Piazza Maggiore, and 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. The breakfast is fair, with good variety of food, cold and hot drinks. Apartment is spacious for a family with children and is cleaned every day, the kitchen has got enough amenities for a short stay and if want prepare your meal. In addition, the apartment is close to good restaurants. My return flight was at night and I was offered to stay a bit longer for a fair price. I will certainly come back in the next opportunity.

The bathroom is very spacious, however, the shower box is quite small. For a person over 1,90m taking a shower in that space without hitting the glasses is basically impossible. I would recommend for the owner in the next remodeling, to increase this space. In addition, the shower box has got mold which could be easily removed with a more attention by the cleaning team. There was a tourism fee applied for all the people who stay in hotels at Bologna, although I understand that this is something that they should charge by law, it could have been explained either on the booking or in the check-in.

The location of the hotel is great, walking distance from the central station so easy to reach from the airport or train station. The center of Bologna is also walking distance, shopping street is just around the corner, but the hotel is in a small street so it is quite. The area is no car zone during the weekend so not easy to reach by car but very comfortable to walk around during the day and very quite at night. The staff was very helpful and nice, my flight was delayed by a lot and arrived after midnight but they waited for me and were still very nice. The room was small but comfortable. Bathroom seemed freshly renovated. The breakfast was good with continental offers and local pastries. Free Wifi worked very well. There is a storage room where you can leave your lagguage for after check out if neccessary.

Their breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the offering of fresh local fruits (strawberries were coming in, and super delicious). The front desk staff was very attentive to my lost luggage problem upon arrival; they were on my side entirely, until the problem was resolved during my 2nd night. And... the bed & linens were of a high quality, which was a bit of a surprise given it is only a 3-star; a very comfortable sleep was had.

The shower was the typical small room phone booth, and the water pressure at the shower head was poor. But the water was plenty hot, and I did feel clean.

The rooms were VERY clean. That is a priority for me. The linens were clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was always well supplied.

some of the rooms on the top floor don’t have a window, only skylights. A bit claustrophobic and no fresh air when it is raining. Pillows in our first room were flat and hard. My husband missed the hand made cappuccino, as they have automatic machines. They are good machines, but not the same.

The location is very good and the hotel personnel is very nice. The beds were good with nice clean sheets. From here you are able to walk fast to the most important locations in Bologna and you have stores close. The bathroom was good, great water pressure for the shower and you have a window to ventilate it.

The furniture looks cheap, but it does its purpose. In the room I stayed, the bathroom door is a sliding door right in front of the beds. Altogether, the room fulfils your needs, but it just looks old.

The rom was quite clean, with extra pillow, fridge, tv and kettle. There was air condition. The breakfast was nice, including sweet and salt croissant, pastries, ham, pizza, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon. The staff at the reception was very kind and polite. The hotel has a nice location, it is on a side street of a main one, then it is not so noisy. There is a very close supermarket, bar and restaurant in the area.

The single room was quite small. It was on the first floor and so not so bright.

Excellent breakfast - sweet & salty selections along with hot and cold; great location; quiet neighbourhood but still in the heart of it all; perfect proximity between train station and downtown; night attendant Alessandro? was excellent at reception; large bathroom with bidet and powerful hair dryer; do not disturb sign option; fridge

The tradeoff with an ultra quiet room was zero view but I would take the quiet room over the view

The front desk staff was very helpful with getting taxis, providing information and directing me to local restaurants.

The location is very hard to find. I could not get a taxi at the train station (which is not your fault, but perhaps you should be aware of this.) I took a local bus, and was almost pick pocketed - but I called then out! Then I had to find the hotel using Google maps once I got off the bus. I had my luggage and it was very hot (also not your fault!)

The skylight was wonderful, the water was so soft and you shower gel by far has been my favorite. I have sensitive skin and this was wonderful. The breakfast was huge and nicely done. Location was easily walkable to anywhere. I’d stay there again. Very accommodating staff.

Nothing. It was just perfect. We’ve been to Rome, Assisi and Florence before this. The walk ability to everywhere and a little slower pace was just what we needed.
