B&B Dimora Sassetti 60

The property is located in the middle of everything with in walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and designer stores.

The room looks much bigger on the pictures, but again is still a good size for a room staying in Florence, the room comes with all the amenities, we had many towels, shampoo, conditioner etc etc. The hostess was great.

We enjoyed our stay quite a lot! The room is comfy and centrally located, close to all the important monuments and tourist places. The lady who welcomed us was pleasant and helpful. She gave us quite a few tips to improve our trip. Air-conditioning which cools the room in 30 seconds is as if sent from heaven! The room is of a good size for 2 people, not too small, but neither too big. Just fine. :)

The street outside is very noisy, especially in summer with all the tourist, so it can be annoying at night. Luckily, they provide you with ear plugs. As we were really exhausted from all the walking, we fell asleep so fast, that we barely noticed them later on. In summer the room gets stifling hot during the night, and due to the noise, you don't want to open the window... Luckily, there is the AC which can be set up perfectly to cool you down and let you sleep on. :)

Location was excellent, room was very nice size for a European hotel, weather was hot so really appreciated the excellent air conditioning system, tv with premium channels. Very stately bldg on the outside and very secure Excellent and expeditient resolution to my email. Great follow up by Paolo even after check out. Very attentive and helpful!!!!

I wasn't aware there were stairs before accessing the elevator. I had large a suitcase. The bldgs entry has steps before arriving at elevator landing which was not mentioned in description.

location was fantastic, walking distance to all the great sights. it was clean and decent. the tv had Netflix access ( using your own account), trust me in Italy there are no English channels so at the end of the day I enjoy a little tv. there is a lift but only after the first floor, so if you have huge luggages like we did , one flight can be difficult. I have to say that if you are looking for a place and price is your main factor than this place is great. also and this was a very important it had air conditioner which is a must in Florence in the summer . even if you don’t like to much ac, where they placed the unit is perfect, keeps the place cool. lastly , the owner answered my text as soon as I would sent it. they were always quick to help and answer any questions.

PRICE, and location

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Firence as well as for walking to the Erasmus school ! 👍 The host and his staff are very kind, helpful and always contactable ! We‘ll stay definitely next time again here !

As Firence has very old but amazing houses in original some floors in buildings are also original. Some guest might think it could be renovated but for me myself it was absolutely fine !

Location, staff Had an issue with the shower. I thought it was just slow draining but a previous room occupant had clogged the drain with cotton balls and I ended up flooding our room 😔 The property manager was really nice about it and took care of getting it cleaned up and even gave us a card for free breakfast.

Excessive street noise - parties were being held until 4am. You have to make use of the provided ear plugs or you will not sleep.

The host was incredibly friendly and funny too. We instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and bars. Did not have to take any other transportation than the train and that was just to get to the city. We felt very safe for 2 girls traveling alone. Very pleased with the stay!

The shower door is not a full door so we soaked the floor unfortunately and had to use several towels to clean it up.

Both hosts were super nice and welcoming!! Made our stay more enjoyable by proving friendly service and showing us where to go in Florence. The location was amazing as it was a 5 minute walk to get to everywhere, nice in the heart. The room was a nice size with an amazing view of Louis Vuitton

Being in the heart was super amazing but also very loud during the night with construction. Other than that was enjoyable.

The room was very nice, absolutlely nothing wrong with it, the bathroom very nice and the toileteries where supberb. The breakfast at La Poste was very good, and would recomend anyone to try it.

The street was very noisy, and even with the windows and shutters closed, was a bit difficult to speep, it's the city taht has a very avid nightlife, if you wish to sleep early, suggest booking the other b&b la marmora 39, wich they manage. If tyou plan on nightlife, it's perfect

What wasn’t there to like? The owner, Maurizio, he was the loveliest man ever! Made sure we had everything I need, suggestions, and just fab. The TV even had Netflix on!! Location was fab, and just everything was really boutique and just great. Breakfast was in a cute nearby cafe, with 3 different options for breakfast! The eggs are unbelievable!!
