Hotel Regina

The hotel is just 5 minutes from the cathedral, which makes it perfect if you're just looking for a place to sleep. There were towels, as well as body&hair products, the room was clean. The room was also cleaned and the bed made after my first night (I stayed for 2) so that was a nice touch.

The wifi is available only at the reception (it didn't matter to me though). There is some buzzing from the neighboring machines and the walls are thin so you hear the conversations in other rooms (earplugs solve that problem). Ring the door to la noce hotel at the entrance. I rang Regina first but no answer. The two share the same reception desk.

The hotel is near San Lorenzo so the place is so good and not far from the train station too. The room is good for the night stay and we had a private room for us only which was not expected and it was clean. The personnel was really nice at the reception. She tended to all our needs when we arrived.

The room is not spacious but it will do if you are not looking for that and you just want to spend the night. And there are, I think other rooms more spacious so maybe you can discuss that. We were leaving Florence at 19:00 so we had to leave our luggage which was possible but unfortunately till 2 o clock only and after that, they wouldn’t even let us stay a little while in the reception to organize our stuff so it was a bit rude but in total, the experience was very nice.

Location, cleanliness of the room. Good sized room. When i requested a room change, it was accepted without any issue and the new room was nicer and comfortable the next day. 10-12mins to the station. Felt quite safe as a female solo traveller but always be careful. Building has a lift, but from first floor, not right from the ground floor/entrance.

The smell from the outside of the window. I had to make sure to shut all the windows. Shower too close the toilet, some people may not like this but i didnt mind. I was first giving a room with a toilet outside and i refused to use this and changed the room the next day. The toilet outside smelt horrible, far away from the room and also could not be locked from the outside which meant anyone could open it and use it. Well, the horrible smell confirmed that it may have possible been used by people? Air conditioner was way too loud but i had ear plugs so didnt mind this. Had really bad reception in both of the rooms, internet starts to work only around the reception/lobby area.

Location in center of Florence and walkable to train station and all tourist spots.

Luggages has to be collected up to 2pm only on the day of check out. Very unusual and stressful and we end up paying heaps at the train station for Lockers as the fee is per bag. Should be able to provide more time to leave luggages after check out time as provided by other hotels/accommodation.

Really clean room that comes with it s own sink it's a nice thing to have when it's a shared bathroom apartment, we was provided with all the necessary toiletries, the fan looked small but it really doese the job,the location is great in a walking distance from everything,personal was really nice

was in a great spot! stayed in a double bed room, was clean and comfy. staff was nice, bathroom was good, no bad smells or leaks like other reviews suggest(problems fixed perhaps)

no aircon but had a fan and windows that worked well. no wifi I don’t think but whatever

The location was perfect, very close to all the attractions and to the train station, we didi everything walking!

The wifi access was very poor, wouldn't work in the room, and the celular signal was low too...besides that all was good

Almost perfect. Great location…near central station,very close to a lot of tourist spots,restaurants & bars and very near to open market (souvenirs shop & all kinds of leather products). The receptionists for day & night were very nice to us…as in i dont have any complains about their attitude. The Hotel…actually i didn’t expect anything good about this hotel but when we entered i was really surprised…the hotel is clean especially our room & bathroom…bedsheets were very clean,all towels are new and there’s s stand fan inside the room,great idea during summer. Highly recommended 💗💗💗

Amazing location, simple and small but everything you need for an active trip to Florence.

If you want to spend lots of time in the hotel it probably wouldn't fit your needs, simply due to having few amenities.

Location is within walking distance to everything in Florence. Safe and comfortable. Staff are all very professional, welcoming and helpful.
