Hotel Pendini

The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. The location of the hotel is great, very central to all the sights and only a short distance to the train station.

The front office reception staff were quite cold, didn’t look happy and were not very welcoming or warm which is a pity as that is the first impression you receive. The cleaning and kitchen staff on the other hand were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful and were warm, welcoming and engaging.

The hotel room was sooo big and comfortable, so very clean, and the hotel in general is beautiful. The breakfast every day was lovely and had a variety of hot and cold foods to choose from and the staff were so kind. The location was excellent for seeing all the major sights and was walking distance to the train station. Would stay here again if we come back to Florence!

Good location, nicely decorated, good lifts, comfy bed, aircon effective, breakfast adequate - cappuccino man great. Best value I could find, saved a lot by staying here.

Room (401) was noisy well into the early hours (from outside). Shower ok but not great - but weak and hard to get the right temperature. Coffee/tea machine in room would be great.

Amazing location.. felt very happy with how central we were. Had a great room with a balcony - felt like a princess. Breakfast was excellent.

The lady at reception was very short with me and quite rude. Was a pity because the other staff were lovely.

The location of Hotel Pendini was absolutely perfect — walking distance to all the major attractions in Florence. The decor in the rooms is very cute and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. The hotel staff were accommodating, and breakfast was delicious every morning. Our room was facing the street (although we selected a courtyard facing room), but it was not too loud at night, even with the windows open.

The shower wouldn’t stay on, so we had to put a hair tie around the faucet handle to keep the water running for a shower. The water temperature also had a mind of its own. It would change from hot to cold on its own every minute or so, so we would need to constantly adjust the temperature handle. Also, the air conditioning unit over the door leaks onto the floor. We had to put a towel down to catch all the water that was dripping.

Fabulous location for us. In the heart of the shopping district. Could walk everywhere.

the hotel is in the perfect location, the staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooms are just delightful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence. a beautiful hotel.

I loved everything about this hotel. The location is excellent just off the Piazza della Republica and less than a 10 min walk to Piazza del Duomo. The Room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The photos on booking.com are exactly as it is in reality. The breakfast was amazing with a large selection of options for everyone. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a lovely drawing room where you can sit and relax with Tea and Coffee making facilities. This is not a cheap hotel but given the quality and the location I thought it was very good value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I can't think of anything. Just to note the hotel is on the 4th floor of the building but there is a lift.

Superb central location, next to Piazza Republica and 5-7 min walk to the Duomo with eateries at and around via Spagna 5-15 min walk away. Intimate and cozy, clean. Easy lift access to 4th level reception and 3rd floor rooms. No parking facilities but hotel offered garage and valet service for car - plus point as few centrally located hotels offered parking for cars. Hotel lounge was furnished in traditional style without feeling worn and outdated, and welcoming. Thoughtful touches - water and warm drinks were offered in lounge, sweets at reception, and a vending machine for bottled water and cold drinks next to reception was convenient. Staff were professional and helpful. Rooms smallish but adequate and showers and beds were comfortable, amenities like shower and aircon/heating all worked well.. Breakfast buffet spread was varied and good, and Filipino staff on standby were pleasant, helpful.

Poor wifi connection indoors (we found it was a common problem elsewhere in Florence, we had to rely on our local data plans instead for connectivity) Toiletries were basic. Bedroom slippers were not provided with room.

The room is in an old mansion, feels very Florentine. The staff is super nice.
