Strozzi Palace Hotel

The location was the best close to the attractions in Florence. The room I got was also spacious and quiet. It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend it. The hotel also had a lift which was very convenient.

I felt the house cleaning could’ve been a little better with replenishing. Breakfast was great but I wished they would provide different varieties everyday. I got quite tired of having the same food the third time.

The location is perfect. All the main attractions are so close. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room 302 is large, airy, and very clean. The breakfast room is very clean and well organised. Breakfast coffee is served with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again.

The stairs from the front door to the lift are a challenge for me to carry a case up and down but there is a stair lift and the friendly staff are happy to help.

We loved the location, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The room was spacious and cool on very hot days. The breakfast was a welcome surprise. A good selection and cute little dining room. Staff were friendly.

The lift was tiny and always stopped on Level 1 no matter what you pushed. There was also a flight of stairs before you got to the lift - but I did notice a chair lift for those who couldn’t walk. Was just hard lugging our luggage up them.

Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The location is excellent, literally two minutes walk from Piazza della Republica. The breakfast is very good with a mixture of continental items. The room is well decorated and spacious with a comfortable bed and clean linen. Television, mini bar, and even tea and coffee making facilities.

The bathroom, whilst clean, is starting to need some repair work; cracked tiles and grout, and a slightly broken toilet seat which was repaired when advised to the staff. Not quite at the level of a 4 star hotel.

Great location right in the middle of the city. Clean and very comfortable. Nice sized room with good aircon, so all in all a great hotel for a short stop to see Florence.

Parking is a bit expensive as its valet parked at a nearby location, but to be expected in the middle of a city. Probably not ideal if staying multiple nights though, so you might want to find your own parking in that case. Breakfast was ok, but not fantastic and no bar/restaurant facilities, but given the location not a problem - its a minute walk to a whole host of bars/restaurants etc.

The location was perfect. 10 minutes to train station, next to the shopping area and a quick walk to anywhere in the city. The room was gorgeous and unique. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast was delicious.

The bed was hard and the room I was given had a slight burnt plastic smell to it that I had to keep the window open so I wouldn't get a headache.

The location is amazing! You are in the middle of the city, everything is close by. The hotel is classic, nicely decorated and comfortable.

Breakfast was very weird there - there was part of things you can take on your own like coffee, juices, jams, etc and other things that need to be handed by staff like bread and ham. The was nothing written about how it’s actually divided and staff was also not 100% sure how it works. The coffee was bad - it was supposed to be cappuccino from the coffee machine but it was actually black coffee with some milk foam - people need to ask staff to prepare real cappuccino like they are offering.

The elevator is small and very very slow. There was also some problem with the booking as one of the rooms was booked with single occupancy (one adult) instead of the double as requested (1 adult and one child 13yrs) and the staff at the front desk was not very understanding about this. We managed to fix it in the end though

Absolutely gorgeous room, very spacious room and bathroom. Lovely restaurant and extremely helpful staff! Central to everything, very quiet and a 15 min walk to train station. Breakfast included in our nightly rate. Stored our bags on the last day for us. Recommend to everyone. A+
