Albergo Delle Regioni, Barberini - Fontana di Trevi

The place is well located. They offer free water and coffee all day and assistance in anything you need. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the room was cleaned daily. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late at night when the front office isn't manned. They forgot to give us the code for the front door and we were stuck outside for a while. Mistakes happen - it's part of life. The important thing is owning up to your mistakes and making amends. The owner and staff did more than we expected in trying to make up for that misshap, and I'm sure they will do everything they can to insure things like this don't happen again

Albergo Delle Regioni is an excellent 3 star property. The staff service is excellent and better than any 5 star hotel I have stayed. The staff helped plan my meals, made reservations and assisted me with my plans. The location is excellent and you can walk to many sites in a few minutes - Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The hotel is also a 3 min walk to the metro station. The room is tidy, clean, comfortable and updated. The hotel also provided me with an Italian cell phone which was convenient when I needed to make local and international calls as well as use Google maps or the internet. The lobby area has plenty of coffee and tea and biscuits, which you can access 24/7.

The rooms are a little small and you can hear everything next door.

This was our first trip to Italy and as luck would have it, our first hotel was in Rome at the Albergo delle Regioni Barberini! Immediately upon arriving to the hotel we were greeted by Fabiana and Fabio! The fabulous duet assisted us with our bags right out of the taxi. They were articulate and well organized with the check in process. There was a nice kitchenette area stocked with coffee, cookies, refrigerated beverages and a Nespresso machine. Very thoughtful for the guests. Loved the box of pasta made in Italy in our room. Our economical room overlooked the busy streets of Rome. But with the windows closed the noise drowned out some. The beds were moderately comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We stayed at the Albergo hotel for two nights before traveling to Sorrento and Capri to stay at two other hotels. The experience at Albergo delle Regioni was the best out of them all! Sabina and Fabiana were so kind and knowledgeable about the area. Fabiana helped guide us to all attractions, and answered all of our questions in person and on WhatsApp. They even got us toothpaste and a body sponge upon request. Fabiana and Fabio made an intimidating train ride to Sorrento a pleasant one by arranging their intern Mateo to guide us to and through the large train station from the hotel. Mateo was also an awesome, kind and helpful young guy! How amazingly generous was that?! Above and beyond customer service, support and satisfaction! It was really a joy to stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They made us feel at home. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, providing every item we needed. Coffee, tea, milk and cookies were available whenever we liked. The location of the hotel was great, walking distance to most of the attractions. We’ll definitely stay there again.

There was nothing that we did not like at this property. To say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. From the second we entered the property until we left we had nothing but the best experience ever. The property is located in a prime location. The room was spotless and the mini bar facility was superb. The girls who are running this property are exceptional at their jobs and nothing is too much trouble. We would really like to thank Sabina, Nicole, Fabiana and Sasha for the best experience I think we have ever had in any hotel. These girls are worth their weight in gold and we cannot recommend staying here enough.

Absolutely nothing!

Great location within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and 8 minutes by foot to the Metro that will take you to all the top spots in Rome! We used the metro for our early morning private tour at the Vatican and it was a life saver! The two young ladies that were our hosts were above amazing! Very helpful, kind and showed that they really cared about us as guests. The complimentary coffee bar was AWESOME!!!!

Only complaint really was the showers being small, but it just emphasized how we all needed to shed a few pounds. There really wasn't anything to complain about. Amazing property and one we would definitely consider the next time in Rome!

The hostess was very helpful and efficient and spoke very good english. We were sent details in advance for check in which sped up the process upon arrival. We were also provided with a map and instructions on how to get to various tourists locations and check out details. The location was great and very close to the main shopping strip and tourist locations - about a 10 minute walk. The free coffee and biscuits were a nice bonus. The hostess also organised transport to the airport for us the next day, given their reception area was not open early morning.

The bathroom was on the small side.

I need a whole page, perhaps, to describe the experience we had staying in this Albergo. The page would only be filled with superlatives about this place. But more to the point, the two young women who welcomed us upon arrival set a tone which lasted our entire time in Roma. The location is excellent! We arrived by metro from the central train station. Two stops in the metro and we were in Barberini Plaza. Three minute walk down hill brought us to an unassuming little side street where our hotel sat, just 25 meters from the busy main road. As soon as we stood outside double checking our address, the door flung open and we were greeted like returning family, even though we'd never been there before. An hour and a half of chat, becoming friends for life, it feels, we went into our room which was way beyond anything i expected. So clean!!! So modern and so well equipped!!! I would not hesitate for one second recommending this place to any of my friends!! And, as an aside, the young women gave us their direct whatsapp contacts so we could have help any time during our visit to Roma. In fact, they encouraged us, upon leaving, to be in touch whenever we need help with anything even after we leave. I'll look forward to returning here again. And i hope the owners of this establishment know how lucky they are to have such embassadors for their hotel, making travelers like us feel incredibly blessed!!
