We loved the location - Piazza Barberini…which is close to much of the historic center of Roma. Louisa was wonderful, as was Nicola, who contacted us prior to be sure of our arrival time. The staff in the breakfast room were A+ (sorry I don’t know their names!). We celebrated our anniversary there and on the request of friends in the USA, the hotel delivered a beautiful chocolate/hazelnut torte to us at breakfast. They went above and beyond. Our rooms were perfect, with a wonderfully large shower, very comfortable bed and a view of the Bernini fountain below in the piazza. There were many restaurants nearby…..all sorts - cafes, bars, pizzerias and full on restaurants. We will stay at the Palazzo Caruso next time we are able to visit Roma.

The heat of the season….or the unseasonable heat was too much….but the hotel had nothing to do with that. Their air conditioning kept us cool inside. Really this hotel was top notch.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. The stay in the room was very pleasant and although the walls are a bit thin we enjoyed blissful sleep. It's located right in the heart of Rome, a few minutes walk from the Trevi fountain.

Staff attention was rather poor. When we got there (18pm on a Friday), we had to ring the bell and they took some time to open the door. When they did, they "lead" us up a floor of stairs, not offering to carry our luggage not having welcomed us at all. We later found out there was a lift... Then, they gave us the wrong room and challenged us when we said we had booked a room with a view. They later admitted the mistake. Although we didn't book breakfast, we were never offered it nor mentioned the lovely rooftop upstairs. There was also a lot of back and forth with fees and payment.

great location, small and welcoming hotel. great stuff who tried to help with really anything they could. great A/C (we came during heat wave). We got upgraded on our first day to a bigger room, with an amazing view to the fountain. we came in the middle of the night, and even though there was no reception, they helped us in pretty easily.

Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room. There is bar/restaurant right under the hotel’s bottom floor, which is a bit noise, especially during weekends.

The location is great. All the main attractions are just few steps away. Also outside you can find metro access, taxis, rental scooters and bikes in the piazza. The hotel is great but definitely not a luxury hotel so it’s a bit pricey. Also if you are staying in the 6th floor be preapred people having breakfast at your front door since this is the breakfast area. There is also some noise in the mornings.

Not a big deal but the room at the 6th floor could be noisy due to breakfast is served at the same floor.

excellent location. 7 min walk to the Spanish steps and less than 10 min to the trivi fountain. Barberini metro stop is 1 min walking away and lots of restaurants and wine shops around. lots of things to do around the hotel but not overtly crowded. the balcony and the breakfast by Piero is what makes the place. Our room was furnished with beautiful furniture and bed was super comfortable. we will definitely come back to stay here next time!

Boutiquesque hotel with artworks on the walls and vintage furniture. A great location - our city-view room had its windows facing the Piazza Barberini. Cocktails available inside the room as powder to be mixed with water - very original solution. Upon arrival there were bonbons on the table and a Valentine Day's wish- what a great surprise! A variety of coffee available with a senseo machine.

No disadvantages; the only thing what was a surprise was the heigth of the beds- way more taller than normal.

the hotel is central and within walking distance of all the sites close to the Spanish Steps. There are coffee making facilities in the room. it works as base from which to explore Rome. The staff are helpful.

the rooms are small and a basic. beds are unusually high. I was given a room which was very hot and needed constant Aircon in order to be tolerable. it felt a little underwhelming for a 4 star.

The hotel is placed on a very good position for visiting many of the Roman attractions by foot. We booked a superior room which was beautiful and comfortable. Despite the traffic on the main road the rooms are super quiet. The hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful, ready to give any advice to make your holiday more pleasant. The breakfast is also good and full of homemade cakes. All the warm food is prepared when ordered, so it is always fresh.

Nothing to mention.

perfect location in Rome, only 1 minute away on foot until the first metro station and only 1 metro station until the Rome Termini central railway station. The rooms have very nice TVs with internet and Netflix (sometimes the guests forget to log out of Netflix). Cuzy, tall beds.

sometimes the walls are two thin and you can hear sounds from inside the building, eg. kitchen or elevator

Breakfast Terrace and breakfast was wonderful. Nice size bathroom. Room good size for Rome. Good location for hop on hop off buses and metro. Can walk (15 min) to Trevi Fountain.

Lighting system hard to use and I would have preferred more lighting. Bed is extremely high for a shorter person. I’m 5’2” and it was a bit of a jump for me. Front desk/concierge area serviced sporadically.
