Breakfast offered great options. The staff was wonderful. And most attentive and very pleasant!

One thing I would want to comment on, for the staff, the Concierge, to perhaps, be more sensitive. One in particular! I personally have physical difficulties. I travel quite a bit actually. However, walking long distances is obviously a challenge. I asked the gentleman at the front desk, if he knew where we would go to catch the "hop-on hop-off bus" he told me it was by the train station. I asked, it it were far? He said it was about 700 meters. It was most insensitive! As, we now know, what that distance is. It would have been more helpful. And smarter to suggest a taxi ride, for someone in my condition. OR simply admit he had no clue!

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The neighborhood is 10 minutes off on foot from Termini, in a little less touristy part of the city. A welcome change compared to the inner city.

Breakfast was decent and that is fine enough for us. However, if you’re an enjoyer of large breakfasts you will not find it here. Also the AC wasn’t working as intended. It circulated air but didn’t seem to cool it despite varying the settings. We just kept the window shutters closed during the day and opened the window at night. As they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.

My girlfriend and I booked our stay at the Ateneo Garden Palace after a bad first night in Rome and we were so happy we chose to relocate. We emailed Laura to ask if we could leave our bags there before check in and she replied to us so quickly and let us know the room would be ready from 2pm. But when we arrived at 8am the gentleman at the desk told us our room was ready and we could go straight up. The room was clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed to feel refreshed and ready for the next few days. The staff at breakfast were always so friendly and nothing was too much hassle. The location is a short walk from Termini which made getting around the city much easier and when we left a taxi was arranged for us in no time. I cannot thank the staff at the Ateneo Garden Palace for making us feel so welcome. Grazie mille a tutti

The hotel is not far from the train station, which can be very helpful if you have to leave early. I went there earlier then check-in time, before 12, hoping that I could leave the bag, but actually, the room was ready. Air conditioner and all the utensils in the bathroom were available. The bed was big and comfortable. There was not much noise coming from the street. The breakfast on the terrace was the highlight of my stay.

The WIFI in my room was slow, but maybe that was just in my room, as my collogue had the opposite impression. The view from the room might not be beautiful, as it looks at the normal street, but at least it's not noisy.

Excellent staff and very good breakfast. Airco was on the edge of its performance but extremely welcome during the heat wave that hit Rome. Very clean rooms, great location with many restaurants in walking distance.

Queen size bed was perfect in size and comfort, relatively stiff/hard sprung (a matter of personal preference). The only minus being a 'waterbed effect' - every single movement one made was directly felt by one's counterpart.

Excellent position, fairly close to Stazione Termini. An oasis of peace, with a beautiful, large garden (a definite asset in such a central position). It was a real surprise. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and the room large and elegant, with two armchairs and a table, a desk and chair, and pleasant pictures. Good large wardrobe, solid wood furniture in a light brown colour, and heavy, stylish curtains framing the three windows (modern, double glazing). An asset is the smiling, helpful Laura at reception, who made us feel as if we were being welcomed in a private stately home. Breakfast was served in a large room, and provided a good choice of the standard fare that one expects from a 4-star hotel, including scrambled eggs and a very good bacon. Again the staff was very kind, and immediately available to attend to our requests. Smiling Ricardo from Peru made breakfast a pleasant experience, too.

Difficult to find any faults.

Was impressed to see that the furniture was real antiques the room had a really high ceiling was very comfortable on a hot day We arrived very late but we were expected and no problems checking in all the instructions were perfect the hotel the hotel may not be in the best location but it really is a nice place to stay and very impressive artwork and antiques I would have liked to abstain one more day to give it it a full observation but I would recommend based on our experience

Being close to a train station it was probably nit's probably not and great area to explore but certainly good if you are on a business trip and just a short stay

A nice hotel with a beautiful garden. Rooms are airy and beautiful, large bathroom, beautiful terrace with plants. Breakfast in the bar on the last floor of the hotel is outstanding, good food with a nice view of the green plants and city. The hotel is about a fifteen-minute walk from the Termini station, many azilant's are on the street, but they are peaceful people and don't cause any problems. We recommend.

The rooms were big and had balcony which we used alot. The breakfast was good. The beds are comfortable. It is great for relaxation, very quiet and nice staff. I'd return even if it is a bit far from the city center :)

Nothing in the minibar (but a supermercato in front). The airconditioner had a lazy start, but managed to cool the room and mantain it like that after a half a day. The location is outside the Aurelian Walls which makes a difference in the taxi cost. The location is 15 min away from the Termini train station, so be careful with that if you don't like to walk that much.

The staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to be helpful. Breakfast was amazing and offered something for everyone. The courtyard and breakfast area were beautiful and relaxing. This is a very lean hotel. It was also close to the train station and bus stops as well as several restaurants.

The air conditioning took a little getting used to. It never got as cold as we would have liked.
