* a friendly little family-owned and run hotel across the road from the Rome Termini Railway station. * clean, safe, comfortable, and overwhelmingly welcoming. * From Trojan rushing to help me with my bags when I arrived, Danilo and Ruby’s excellent suggestions for walking routes to see the city, and Ruby’s warm farewell when I checked out, I really felt like a guest rather than a mere customer. * The owner Danilo was super-responsive and immediately fixed a maintenance issue in the bathroom. * when I left, one of the housekeeping staff Joshua even helped me with my luggage back to the station! * My room was simple, unglamorous & functional (but more comfortable than that of my much more expensive 4-star hotel in Venice), with a comfortable big bed, desk, cupboard, big TV & good aircon. The bathroom had a good-sized shower, toilet & bidet, and nice basin with a space for putting toiletries. * My room was generally quiet, with a window looked out onto other apartments. This gave an authentic feeling of living in Rome. * excellent location for me: less than 5 minutes walk from the train platform; right across the road from the Coop Supermarket and a post office. While the area around the central railway station of most European cities is usually a little rough, I felt perfectly safe day and night due to the constant presence of police and other security personnel. * within reasonable walking distance to all the main sights in Rome. eg. about 25-30 minutes to walk to any of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain or Spanish Steps, and about 1hr to walk to the Vatican City — though I was pleased I took the Ruby's advice and strolled through the beautiful Villa Borghese Gardens to see the Vatican (about 90 mins). * Buses and the Metro leave from the station for those who prefer public transport and/or want to get to the sights faster.

* people with mobility issues should know that there are some steps on the ground floor before you reach the lift. * some of the other guests were a bit noisy coming and going (though the hotel did encourage people to be considerate). * sometimes there was loud music playing in reception, which I could hear from my room.

The warm, helpful, and courteous reception at the property was very welcomed. Their communications with me in advance of my arrival was much appreciated.

It was a five minute walk with wheeled suitcase to Termini Station. It was really clean. The female receptionist I spoke to on the phone had excellent English as did the male that I met on arrival. The receptionist on arrival was warm and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable enough. The air conditioning was great. The shower was hot and there was sheer gel, soap and clean towels. There were heaps of cafes and bars and a small supermarket in very short walking distance, so my one night stay was easy.

The sign for the hotel is very small and discreet. Google Maps wasn't working so I struggled to find it so make sure that you note the building number in advance. I couldn't get out of the lift at the ground floor in the morning. There is no on site staff at night and the building was creepy to return to as a lone female traveller.

The location and the team

It’s not something that I didn’t like, it’s just a suggestion, the signal outside could be more visible.

Excellent service from Trojan who went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. Taxi to the airport was arranged for us. Also, my friend needed an extra hand-carry suitcase and Trojan got one for her- we’ve reimburse him back of course. Thank you, Trojan. You are a credit to your team! Excellent location - just a few minutes walk to and from aroma Termini. Room is fully air conditioned which is perfect for summer. Will definitely stay in this hotel again in the future.

The toilet didn’t flush well -had to wait for at least 30 minutes before you could use it again. Otherwise facilities were good.

The property was pretty cool, right across from termini and a supermarket, beside many cafes, bars and mini markets. My room was clean, spacious for one and had everything I needed. Including a mini fridge which was great for keeping my water bottle cold. Staff was lovely and so kind. I’d definitely stay again!

The only downside was I couldn’t figure out where the reception was initially… likely because I’m from North America and the second floor is often the one after ground. So more of a me thing. And the keys had very sticky moments. Basically the most pointless issues that won’t make me not come back.

the location is excellent! right across the Main Termini train station The room and bathroom were very clean the staff is very polite and helped us find places to eat. and provided maps and helpful routes for train travels, they even let us leave our luggage stored while we visited Venice and Florence . We recommend this hotel

for elderly, like us ; grab bars in the bathtub would be highly recommended for safety purposes but just being across the train station and bus lines was a plus when you travel on a budget

A/C was good, sheets and towels were fine. Location is superb. Staff is probably the best you'll find anywhere, especially in Europe. Nice cafe machine in the office. Housekeep was good.

Bathroom has new fixtures but is too small due to a bidet being in it. you can't actually stand at the sink without your legs being pushed against the bidet. Shower water is rarely hot and the pressure is very low, sink faucet pressure and water temp is much better. No US electric plugs and no conversion plug available or offered for use. They should keep some in the office to loan out. Hair dryer did have one American outlet on it but very inconvenient to charge items in the bathroom. Hallways could use a basic paint job. Homeless sleep on the street each night by the hotel. Different type of furniture, all open air, no actual dressers or drawers. Much of this info is not necessarily a DISLIKE, more just info, the way it is.

Staff is helpful and willing to explain the city and everything. The room was clean. It has own toilet and bath. Also there is a hair dryer. Hotel offers water and coffe at the reception desk. The hotel is right next to the train station Roma Termini, so it is very easy to use transportation. I would stay this place if i come back to Rome again.

Since it is at very center location, it was noisy outside. If you dont open the windows, it is ok but otherwise it is too noisy. Another thing is there was not net curtain but there was window shields. They cut the light so if you want to not to be seem from outside, it would be dark inside. One point for Turkish people: phone chargers are compatible with sockets but for ex my hair dryer is not compatible with them. So you either bring a converter or dont carry things like hair dryer.

Would like to say thanks staffs for what they did a whole of things during my stay !!!! I would give tens of hundreds of thousands of 10 points !!!!!! Perfectly located right in front of Termini main station with supermarket, cafes and restaurants within just a few steps distance by walk so very easily accessible and convenient to stay and hang around. The room was so beautifully clean with finely equipped amenities. If you want and need a nice place to stay in Rome in such a reasonable budget this is the truly right place for you in value for money !!!

Nothing at all Just don't go to restaurants nearby Vatican Museum or some touristic spots still ripping off the guests in old fashioned tricky way
