It was clean. Our room number 4 was quiet during the night. They are changing towels every day, making the bed and cleaning the room. There is espresso machine in the kitchen making a nice coffee. Must say that Italian breakfast is sweet and you have their kind of breakfast. When in Rome... 🥂 So, the breakfast is sweet plus espresso and that is it. If you want something else like we did there is a market 50 meters right. Or Turkish kebab next door right. Also there is a good gelateria in the street, 5 minutes on the left. Good pizzeria is I Fratelli, you can see it from the kitchen window. If you want to eat some meat there is Old Wild West restaurant 100 meters on the left. Chicken wrap and burger on special offer is 6 EUR. For visiting city center use the bus 492 because you can stop near by every sight you want to see. Aperol spritz costs from 6 to 12 EUR Pasta Caccio and Pepe from 8 to 12 EUR Pizza Margarita from 7 to 11 EUR So you know.

I didn't like my bed. It was too soft for me. Mirrors are too low. Like everyone is 1.5 meters. 😁

The staff was accomadating, our flight arrived before check in time and they were there close to the time we arrived at the property. The room and washroom is clean. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee and snacks.

Unfortunately for our room the AC did not work. Staff was notified and they did try to get it fixed, but we left before they can fix it. They did offer to give a fan for the night, but we didn't receive at the end, thankfully that night it was cooler. We were unable to keep the windows open because there is a bar close by and it got too loud. Overall, the staff did try to fix it, but we left before they could.

Alessia was really nice and helpful. We could ask for help at any hour of the day and she would respond right away. The accommodation is well located, the 71 bus is really close and it connects you to the city and to landmarks like Fontana di trevi. Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable.

The only bad part was that we could heat everything from the other rooms. It was a bit hard to fall asleep because of that. But in our opinion, if you’re staying for only one or a couple of nights, that’s not a problem.

we liked the location. the main reason why we choose this hotel because our flith was early, and we wanted to be walking distance from central station. location is good. communication with the owner also was ok. room was cleaned every day.

breakfast. when I booked the hotel with breakfast included i was waiting something hot for breakfast. in the end we got just coffee, juice and some sweet stuff. so we went every morning outside for the breakfast. if i knew that it will be like this , i definitely booked another place. another minus - was written that can be paid by card, but the owner asked cash. what wasnt very suitable

Alessia was very friendly and accommodating! The place was very clean, including the shared bathroom which had everything you needed. There was also a shared kitchen with lots of complimentary snacks and drinks! We only stayed one night because we needed somewhere to stay close to the station because we had an early train the next morning, but I can imagine if you stayed longer, you may meet and chat with the other people staying in the communal spaces, so if you like that when traveling, this could be ideal.

Check-in was really easy and they were very accommodating with our later arrival because our flight got moved. It's very quiet which is nice, and the rooms are spacious.

The shower wasn't really clean. It wasn't much of a problem because we only stayed one day (two nights, arrived late & left early) but for longer stays that might be something to keep in mind.

Pleasant staff, everything was clean, bed linen was changed every day. View of the courtyard, plenty of light and air. Good connection with the city, close to Termini station.

There is no refrigerator, only a mini bar that does not cool well.

I really enjoyed my stay at Max house. The early check-in was smooth and I also had the chance to do a late check-out. The place is super clean and the familiar atmosphere made me feel at home. Based in the university neighbourhood, is the perfect location to enjoy the night life and it is also well connected to the city centre.

Before booking I was informed that rooms are provided of private toilets but at my arrival I realized it was a shared one. However, the whole place is so clean that has not been a big deal.

Good location (although San Lorenzo is a dirty place), good cleaning and very serviceable hosts.

Breakfast was the only negative point under their control. I think they could renew it everyday or at least make a little more effort. Price was good, although I think San Lorenzo area is overpriced for what it offers.

The staff were welcoming and the room was clean, spacious with air conditioning and the beds got made everyday with new towels! Was outstanding service. The breakfast was an assortment of sweet treats along with juice and hot beverages. The location was ideal as it was in-between the coach station and central Rome (20 minute ISH walk).

Perhaps further coverage of Wi-Fi (more boosters). Although this was still really good!
