B&B Girasole Guesthouse

Great location with na Underground station nearby (2 minute walk) that will allow everyone to get to most must-see places in Rome in no time, plus it's around 15-20 minutes walk off the Colosseum. There's a really good place to eat nearby as well as a grocery store to get anything you might need. The room was very tidy and neat, the AC was working superbly, and the owner was kind, nice and fun to talk to and always willing to help. Overall it was a great place to stay to have a proper sightseeing time in Rome.

Might only need a little bit of more utensils in the kitchen if someone wants to cook something themselves.

Located 7-10 min walking distance from Roma Termini and you can reach Colosseum in 13-15 min walk. The owner, Mr Leandro very friendly. He help me to get the Vatican City ticket and explain well about eternal city interesting point. Security wise- a big door, apartment entrance and guest house are locked. Small elevator available at level 1

Difficult to find the the exact building/house at the first place especially if you reach late evening. You need to find the main door and push the intercom button for guest house.

The apartment is 11 min from Roma termini and about 30 min from Fontana di trevi. The room is big enough for two people and it was clean. The bed was comfortable. There is free coffee, milk and mugs in the shared kitchen.

I was very disappointed with Leonardo. At first he wanted us to pay extra charge for late check-in ( than the charge stated in the policy ). Luckily Francesco was very kind and helpful. He recommended us all the best and local restaurants and he warned us about the tourist traps. wi-fi wasn't good at all and the AC wasn't working.

I booked one room for 1 night. Had to go early the next morning. The location is at the 5th floor and looks fine.

I had to call the owner because at the intercome nobody answered

The B&B is close to the centre of Rome, you even have a metro stop on the same street. The room is big and comfortable, the necessary, as you are going to be out all day, it has a small reception to prepare a coffee or tea. In my case, it was Francesco who was in charge of receiving me, he was very kind and attentive, he gave us indications and advice to make my experience in Rome as good as possible. I recommend it.

Nothing fancy but, the owner was super nice. He let us check in early. Helped us get tickets. Also, ordered our train tickets. Called a taxi for us. We would have been lost without him. We stayed an extra day. Canceled, our other B&B he had a cancelation so we stayed here for one more day. Ready to board our cruise.

The common area, someone fried fish. It smelled horrible. Lol, we had trouble finding the B& B. The taxi driver didn't know where to drop us off.

This guesthouse was so cute! The room was small but enough for three person. The building's courtyard was beautiful and nostalgic. Room's view was amazing! Room was clean and quiet. Location is quite good you can reach every focus area by walking easily! I hope i can visit italy regularly (that will be unpossible because of exchange rate) if i can come back my first location will be girasole! The host is so kind thanks for your hospitality Leonard!!!!

Great location, owner was very helpful and accommodating. We had to stay an extra night due to flight cancellation and he helped us find somewhere to stay as he was booked. He also moved us to a better room on request, and gave us vouchers for breakfast at a local cafe.

Rooms were quite basic and not up to date. Some noise from guests with a dog but reported this to owner and he sorted it out.

I would recommend this place to everyone who is willing to visit Rome by foot! It is close to Colosseo, also supermarkets are very close for everything you need! Staff is very helpful, nice and polite!!!

We kept some things in the fridge that is common and somebody has stolen our fruit😅

The room was in a central area. Main attractions were within walking distance. A number of places to go eat and get gelatto! Also, easy to take a taxi/Uber if needed.

Hmm... The only thing that may be worth mentioning is that we had to close the windows at night because of the noise from the street. Once they were closed, it was fine.
