Location, location location

Getting in and out of the property was annoying. You have to use a code to get in the main door , then a key to get in the second door , climb 44 steps up to the second floor, then use a code to get in Charme and Chic , and a key to get in your bedroom, however you cannot beat the view from my room the cleanliness, the comfort, the upgraded facility in the room , and location. The breakfast was open very late and therefore useless not to mention the food was a bunch of carbs.

Great location - close to many attractions and right next to the main shopping street (Via del Corso). Elegant house, very comfortable and beautifully furnished room. The room has a small refrigerator and a well-functioning air conditioner.

* It is a bit misleading that there are two different accommodations with the same name. I didn't notice this when booking and accidentally went to the wrong place. Fortunately, the second place is relatively close. * E-mail exchange was also a bit difficult, the answers came with some delay. * Breakfast was not served at the accommodation, it was served at a restaurant near the Pantheon (about 700m away). Breakfast for 10 euros included a cup of coffee (capuccino), one croissant and one glass of juice.

it’s a wonderful B&B in the heart of the historical centre. the stuff is extremely friendly and helpful, the property is clean and beautifully furnished and decorated, it is very charming.

The windows do not have the best sound isolation and I was woken up every night with noise from rubbish collectors and construction on nearby properties.

location, location, location. Very clean, nicely designed country French look , bed was very comfortable , hot water in the shower. The negatives are.: the breakfast was not open early on my last day. and they were items that I certainly wouldn’t eat for breakfast. Communication was difficult at times with the staff. There are a number of doors to open with different codes, which can add to the charm or make it more cumbersome to enter the building and room. The elevator is very very small and probably built in the early 1900s, which adds to the charm, or makes the entry to the room more difficult If you have questions, you are basically on your own. The street was also quiet at night and once again, you just cannot beat this location.

needed more contact with staff

Our whole stay was wonderful. As Americans, we are usually used to larger rooms than in Europe and these were definitely closer to American-sized which was amazing with our luggage. The beds were memory foam and quite comfortable. Mikaela, our host/housekeeper, was incredibly kind and exceeded our every expectation. We (as a family) took up three of the four rooms and the way the space was organized was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the private terrace and it was a great space for us to gather and plan out our days. This location is just terrific and it’s easy to get there from all the main attractions of Rome. We would absolutely stay there again next time we’re in Rome!

My husband has wide shoulders and so most pillows aren’t enough for him (in any European hotel - this was the same). The B&B was on the second floor (the third in terms of staircase steps) and the elevator was small, but neither of those bothered us one bit!

Access to the building was very easy with codes that were sent just before arrival. The room very very nicely decorated and very clean. Even tho it was close to a busy street you couldn't hear the noise when the windows were closed. The air con in the room was great and kept the room cool enough for us to sleep. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the centre of the main attractions and plenty of amenities in the street below. The room had a small fridge to keep your drinks cool in which was perfect for the hot weather in June. The shower was very good with good water pressure. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, all memory foam.

Probably my fault but there was no breakfast included, when I booked I didn't see an option to add breakfast, however that doesn't mean it wasn't there. I just thought when you stay at a bed and breakfast, the breakfast is always included.

Such a lovely little B&B in the centre of Rome. It was within walking distance to most places I wanted to visit but I do love to walk! Very clean and nicely decorated. Great shops and restaurants very close by. Small grocery store across the street also a taxi rank which were both very convenient!

The only thing would be that there was no one there to greet me or talk to. However, the instructions on how to enter and the communication with Charme & Chic was very good!

Amazing location, very clean room and comfertable bed. Marta was extremly helpful and lovely to be around and the breakfast was good.

Great location. Near the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. Stagna metro station is a five minute walk so you can jump on the metro and be at Coleseum or Vatican in 20 minutes or less. Lots of shopping and good food options nearby. Room was very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Front desk is not manned all day so you have to contact them via Whatsapp if you need something or have a question when they're not there. Not a huge problem but didn't realize when we booked that the desk hours were limited.

Breakfast not available before 9:00AM, unable to reach any staff (not on location, nor by phone), very limited choice for breakfast, room quite noisy
