I liked the property and the stay its a nice Bed and Breakfast, I dont consider it being a Hotel (not specially a 4Star) based on my previous B&B and Hotel experiences, the room was good and of a good size as well as the bathroom, good AC, and good room service

while the Staff is very welcoming and friendly the breakfast (which was a plus I was looking of my staying considering we were going out early all day) was very very limited and not as good, for the price I would have expected more (even for Rome$$$) the toiletries were basic (not bad but this is a 4 Star hotel) and the beds for some reason werent as comfortable, we couldnt sleep/rest as much (3 people) The bottle of water in the hotel is €4 and anything on the mini bar is quite expensive so we made a rule to not touch anything from it and buy things outside. (Water is good and free in Rome’s nasoni(water fountains) so dont buy water in general just refill your bottle)

Amazing boutique hotel, in middle of centro storico, all rooms just 13, on 2nd floor. Rooms are very up to date, double glazed, noise free and beautifully furnished. I had a suite, which was very spacious, both rooms having exposed timber roof joists. Aircon, etc. I was glad to find excellent lighting, often a problem The building is 18th century. Entrance difficult to find, as cafe Borghese is also Reception! The old main doors are huge, and lead to a covered courtyard. Breakfast is in the cafe. Very helpful staff, who sorted out a cleaning issue, and credited me a free breakfast. Almost everywhere is walking distance, Pantheon, Colosseum, Forum, Trevi, etc. Restaurants and cafes with 200 yards.

Nothing really. It's a bit odd to find the reception in the cafe, but it seems to work. Lift is slow and tiny, but that's rather fun

I can't say enough good things about Il Campo Marzio hotel, a gem in the heart of Rome. The location is simply unbeatable, just a short stroll from all major attractions. Modern, sparkling clean rooms with top-notch amenities make for a truly comfortable stay. But the real highlight is Fabio, a staff member who epitomizes hospitality. From restaurant recommendations to effortless check-in, Fabio was always there to ensure my experience was nothing less than perfect. His warm smile and genuine kindness added a special touch to my stay. Highly recommend, and I certainly will be back!

The staff was incredible. Paolo was at the desk the majority of the time but we also got to meet Chiara and another person with dark hair with bangs. All were extremely helpful and elevated the trip. they assisted with cabs, recommendations for food, and excursions. Very friendly, multi linguists ( awesome), and kind. The barista that made our morning coffee/ tea was very nice as well. The rooms were very quaint, well-decorated, and very clean. The location was within perfect walking distance to Via de Corso, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, and Spanish Steps. Everywhere else was a short cheap cab ride. Absolutely recommend this hotel and I will be staying there again soon. Thank you Paolo, Chiara, and the team for a wonderful 1st trip to Rome

There wasn't anything I didn't like that was correctable.

The hotel in great location to rome,6 minutes walk to trivi fountain & pantheon,I booked the junior suite with balcony, the room really big & comfortable. The Man on charge Antonio he is hardworking employee, he's doing everything in the hotel ,he's doing his best & working so hard, without him the hotel will be in worse condition. Internet connection is great

They charged me 30 Euro extra per night as the booking was for one person and we was two ,even the booking showed 4 adults can stay in the suite but to be fair the booking was for one person only but it was without breakfast so I don't know why they charged me. The Balcony is like prison, no chairs or table in the balcony . The water in bathrooms should be stronger. The elevator is old & slow.

First of all it is Rome and all normal hotels are overpriced. Il Campo Marzio has the best location and charming staff, best you can imagine. Premises are new and unlikely for the hotels in Rome it is very clean. Also unlikely for the Rome rooms are of descent size and bathroom as well. Breakfast is normal, actually you get all you need. If you need some help staff is there, adorable people at the reception. Building is old like most of the Rome, elevator is functional and you have all to enjoy the stay.

Nice neighbourhood, very clean, modern, the staff super nice & helpful: Fabio THANK you !!! We checked in at 8-9pm after leaving the AirBNB (which was horrible). Fabio was quick & ready for us. He knew our names & helped us up to our rooms. He gave us restaurant recommendations & made reservations. Also, helped us w/ taxi to airport when we left Rome. 4 days later we checked in to the same hotel b/c of our excellent experience. Liana was our host & she also was helpful.

Everything was perfect

Sal, the receptionist was warm. friendly and patient. Mary, the breakfast lady, was very friendly and efficient and by the next morning, knew exactly how we liked our coffee . Loved the decor in the bedroom, the mirror in the bathroom and the wall paper. The sconces were perfect for the style of the room.

The size of the lift!

The location was great and within easy walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well! Breakfast was fine but not exceptional. Fabio was super helpful and knowledgeable.

It was all very good - perhaps a better arrangement for luggage - we had two suitcases but ended up with them open on the floor so perhaps a couple of luggage stands would be helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

"I recently stayed at Il Campo Marzio in Rome and had a great experience. The room was nice and clean, and the service was good. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of all the city center attractions like Fontana di Trevi. One of the highlights of my stay was the friendly and kind service from Liana, the girl at the front desk. She was very helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Il Campo Marzio for anyone visiting Rome."
