Circus Maximus B&B

The place was very nice. Beyond what I expected. And our hosts, Marina and Claudia were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They also responded to our questions quickly!!! Everything was clean and toiletries provided, which was nice. The breakfast spread in the morning was amazing and excellent!!! One of the best I've seen.

My only recommendation is the shower door could use replacing. And a small table in the bathroom would have been nice and helpful. Also, the construction in the building making early morning noises was not pleasant after a late night in the city.

Location was good for all the sights.

Calls itself a bed and breakfast but breakfast was DIY coffee, long life croissants and a long life bun..the owner did however provide some fresh cream cakes but this was apparently not the normal thing.

Claudia and Marina were very nice and helpful.The breakfast was simple, but they really tried to show us what an Italian breakfast looks like (also, available until 10am). The room was cosy and really clean!:) The apartmant is located in the city center, but far enough from the noisy crowd.

The walls are really thin (not suitable for a honeymoon) and the breakfast tabel is not ideal for groups containing more than four people.

Everything was super clean when we arrived, Claudia was very helpful and kind. The room was big enough for 3 people. Totally recommend!!Just so you know that there is a shared kitchen, reception isn't open all day, but there is a number you can call if you need anything. Overall, our stay there added to our trip experience in Rome, definitely would stay there again. Thank you so much for having us!! Extra notes: tap water is amazing, the breakfast pastries and espresso in the morning were delicious. If you need recommendations for places to eat ask when you check in, also ask how public transportation works so you can see Rome without getting too tired by walking, even though everything is close.

Claudia, the host was very friendly and helpful. Shared kitchen was well stocked with everything that was needed. Location was great - for FAO, Colisseum and Metro (Circus Maximus). Choice of good restaurants along the road and a supermarket directly opposite too.

Could not find any English language channels on TV but I was out most of the time, so not important to me.

Rooms were big enough. Rooms were clean. Accommodation was very close to the metro and even within walking distance of the Colosseum. Breakfast was (as communicated by the accommodation) relatively simple but sufficient. Friendly staff. Could leave our luggage on the day of leaving after check out time.

Breakfast started only at 8 but we wanted to leave earlier to go and see things. WAs solved by preparing breakfast the day before for us. Even though the bathroom was cleaned well, there were some mold stains.

The host is lovely and greeted us on arrival. We only stayed one night but it was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The bed is comfy, we had some issues with train transport and we were knackered so we literally slept as soon as we arrived. There's place to eat just outside the apartment although we didn't have time to try them they had good ratings online. There's a shared communal space for cooking and a fridge to store items.

The room is basic and couldn't really stay for more than a couple of nights. Not much storage space and the shower is quite small.

It's a comfortable and cosy B&B in a nice area about 15 min. walk to the Colosseum. Room was good size, everything was clean and well maintained. Very good breakfast. Kind and helpful hostess who made us feel welcome.

We were given a code for the apartment door to check-in but had to wait for a neighbour to open the door of the courtyard and the building; luckily there was one going in at the same time.

Amazing location. Everything is near. Grosery store is right across the street, there are restaurants next door and amazing Colosseo is almost at your front door. Breakfast was amazing and the lady was super helpful, recommended things and and we felt welcomed all the stay. We absolutely loved the stay. Will definitely stay there again when in Rome

don’t hesitate if you want to have a time in a nice neighborhood in Rome, this one is for you! Claudia is a very kind and lovely woman and will do the best to help you enjoying your stay. the room was very clean, and so did she every single day. there is a big storage for all your clothes and bags you’ll buy in Rome (believe me, this is a true story 😅) I keep the name for my next trip to Rome!
