There was a problem with our ac in room 401-and after a few calls and failed solutions, we eventually were moved to another room 202- ac worked better, but still not cold. I give you the room numbers as I feel this isn't the first time with this problem. (from their reaction to our calls) Staff was kind about the problem and finding a solution without ever acknowledging the problem. #401 also seemed to have a few electrical switch problems that caused some hesitation... Hotel rooms felt a little bit in need of a refresh in places.

we moved to the Hotel art by the Spanish steps After we checked into our first hotel that was absolutely horrible our travel agent from hays travel had ruined our first holiday abroad and put us miles away in a bad area where the views where shocking and nothing like what we had paid for building sites x3 outside my widow my partner nearly got robbed the room was falling apart. BUT THINGS CHANGED when we moved to the beautiful Hotel Art the staff where amazing kind and very helpful the hotel was lovely the breakfast amazing room very clean area was central to everything which is why we came to Rome in the first place. we couldn’t thank the staff enough. we will return 1000%

Good location, enjoyed our stay in comfortable though small room.

Rooms are built several stories high around a ground floor courtyard which acts like a sound chimney. Guests spending evenings in the courtyard often stayed late and even though we were staying on the 3rd floor we clearly heard their conversations, especially interesting were the business phone calls. No air conditioning until summertime (we stayed in May).

We arrived into our room and it wasn't ready for us, bed wasn't made and there were empty bottles and shopping bags from the previous customers still in the room. We also had issues with the electrics in the room on the first night. Although we had these incidents, the staff apologised for the inconvenience and we were happy with subsequent treatment and free biscuits/cakes as an apology. But still shouldn't have happened with the money being paid

Perfect location, good rooms, huge variety of meals at breakfast. Very quiet location but very close to Spanish steps

Unfortunately was huge problem with taxi. My checkout was at 5AM and it was real problem to get the taxi. I have asked hotel staff but they told me that can't help. So I had to run to Spanish Steps to find taxi there

Excellent staff. Always helpful and friendly 😀 Breakfast had good choices. They have gluten free bread too. They went over and above to help us get some some food for our 6am departure to get to the airport. Comfortable beds and space. Good restaurants nearby - Dilla, Al 34, Il Margutta Excellent location.

The shower in the bathtub was very tricky to get in and out off and dangerous for some people. A mat was provided to make it less slippery but the mat obstructed the outflow of the shower water. The shower area need hand holds for safety in order to stand up to shower. A few more hooks and brighter lighting would be good.

The location is superb. It's central enough to most of the tourist attractions, but would need a car to get to from the airport. Good thing is it is quiet. Staff are so awesome, courteous, and professional

Perfect location in the lovely Via Margutta, close to many nice restaurants and metro station. Clean and functional room Friendly and attentive staff Simple but tasty breakfast

Soundproofing: Voices of people walking and talking in the corridor and slamming doors. We could also hear discussions from the next room. Electric sockets turn off with lights ... Cannot charge your phone on the bedside table while sleeping.

We have stayed here several times before but this time there was no bar service in the evening which was a bit disappointing. There was a small selection of ready made cocktails and drinks with an honesty sheet in the lounge area but we would have preferred a bar. Air con in the room wasn’t really efficient enough but then it was extremely hot in Rome at the end of July.

Great location, very helpful crew. Laura was super helpful, she helped me almost with everything i needed. People reaction makes the defferient, employe like Laura makes u want to stay there in ur next visit.
