Condotti Palace

Location was superb. Great location to the Spanish steps (3 minute walk) and about a 10-15 minute walk to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, 30 minute walk to the Colesseum and a 40 minute walk to the Vatican. Check in staff were very helpful and the room was great. Air conditioner worked a treat after a 38c day!

The walls are VERY thin, meaning you can hear absolutely everything within the hotel (the window is great, extremely soundproof that wasn't the issue). We heard the upstairs people checking in and out at 4am in the morning which woke us up and kids running up and down the hall at midnight when we were trying to sleep. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Honestly when I booked there was no mention of the room being in a separate building.

Number 1 asset of this hotel is staff. Polite people wth a smile in their faces. The hotel was clean. It is located in the centre, next to spanish steps and we had easy access to many destinations on foot. Personally next stay in Rome will try to be at teh same hotel again

Only one thing i can say, its the access to wifi. Wifi is free yet in the rooms it was very weak and sometimes we could not connetc. If the fic this as well then there will be no need for this section in the review shett :)

You cannot beat the location of this hotel! Very unassuming building in the heart of that Roman neighborhood, one step out you are where everyone is coming to, then one step in you are taken away to a perfectly cool & quiet oasis.

Would like to have more storage for clothing, there were only a few hangers & two small drawers. Also the showers are very slippery, nearly a liability. Half way through, we had to ask for a floor grip, which luckily was available, but should have been in the bathroom from the start.

Love love love the location!!!! The room was beautiful and clean too - we even had a nice balcony/terrace! Top marks for a great aircon too! (That we can control) The staff were lovely and main reception was good looking and comfortable. The tv had great channels for English speakers. The coffee and tea facilities were great! The cakes were so helpful!

The bed was very very hard and the pillows were very very flat and stone like. The wifi cut out a bit. We could not get an iron only a steamer. And the room was super small only one person can move around at a time.

Room was fantastic!!! Super clean, cozy and it had a great mini garden patio where we had coffee and snacks. It was super clean, very nice modern decor and the location was amazing!!! Two steps from all wonderful sites in Rome. Great restaurants around. Taxi and Spanish steps just around the corner. Amazing shopping, coffee shops and tourist attractions. The staff is amazing, super friendly and the guy helped us carry our bags to the taxi stand around the corner when we left. The room was sanitized and cleaned every day and it was spotless!!!

The mattress is a bit soft, which is ok but unfortunately I have lower back issues so I prefer firm ones. It is not hotel’s fault or anything. I just have a bad back which is a bummer. If you could switch the door on the shower, it would be easier to get in. It opens to the inside but leaves no room to enter. Maybe flip it so it opens outside instead of inside. It does not close right so the floor gets wet and I kept wiping it because I was afraid it would get ruined by water.

The location was brilliant next to the Spanish steps. The staff were so helpful, our room was cleaned and tidied everyday, our luggage was kept at the end of the day which was a godsend since we had a pram as well. The size of the room and facilities the tea, coffee and biscuits were very welcomed by my partner, I and the toddler. Many thanks brilliant, will definitely book again.

Nothing

The location was perfect. Everything in walking distance with a large selection of places to eat in the surrounding streets. We stayed in the additional rooms around the corner from the main hotel it was very private and loved the out door seating area that we had off our room. Recommend for location alone

Room is small but to be fair i expected this due to the location. The only thing that bothered us in our stay was the plumbing. When our neighbours took a shower it sounded like we were sitting at the Trevi fountain as the water flow was very loud as the pipe seemed to come through our room this woke me once or twice when they had a very early morning showers !

the location was perfect and exactly what we wanted for what we wanted to see and do, the staff very friendly, room was very very clean

the bed was really hard, although parts were renovated it still felt a bit old, old closet and room door, perhaps Hotel Condotti next door was more up to date
