The hotel staff are super friendly. The hotel Manager Marco is super professional and super nice, made our stay 100 times better. The rooms are beautiful and clean.

The breakfast wasn’t good. Not a lot of options. All other hotels have coffee machines in all the rooms. Except Umilta 36. I highly recommend they add the coffee machine in the standard rooms and not just the suites.

great and friendly staff! and very well-decorated hotel and room. We also enjoyed the coffee in the lounge. The room was super clean vs. some other places we visited. The location was convenient for sightseeing.

location was probably too touristy if you want to avoid crowds. Otherwise, I highly recommend this small boutique hotel to everyone! Once again, the staff here are super friendly and made us feel relaxed.

Bottom line: fantastic, luxurious, great service! More detail: This hotel is fairly new and it has 1-2 other luxury boutique properties. I was excited to try it and my expectations were not only met but exceeded! The location is outstanding! Very very near the Pantheon, Forums, Campidoglio, and other great sites. But, not on a busy tourist thoroughfare - it is on some adorable and scenic side streets. Best of both worlds. This is a luxury boutique property. Lovely common lobby and bar/restaurant area. My room was comfortable and lovely in every respect. They took great care to clean and make up my room twice daily. The hotel is new so the gym and rooftop bar are still under construction. However, a sister hotel located about 3 minutes away walking has a great gym which guests here can use any time. In fact, I spent time at that other hotel too and was treated like a guest and one of the family. The concierge, front desk staff, and other staff were uniformly outstanding. They provided fantastic restaurant recommendations that, in my view and from the meals I enjoyed, were at a very high level of quality and I saw/heard mostly other Italians and very few tourists. So, I would eagerly stay here again and give it a very very glowing recommendation.

We were a family of four staying in a spacious junior suite, where the livingroom were converted into a kids bedroom (with a folding door separating the bedrooms), which worked very well. Extremely central but quiet location and unusually new and fresh for being central Rome. Walking distance to pretty much all sights. Breakfast was a simple but good continental buffé. To that each guest could add one order of egg dishes.

Take your time for breakfast, egg dishes (and sometimes even coffee orders) could take anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes.

I was very pleased with my stay at Umilta 36. I stayed in a Deluxe Suite (508) with my husband and our teenage son (on sofabed). I appreciate NEW places because everything feels clean and contemporary. I loved this hotel's quality decor and attention to details, and loved the: - bathroom: double basins with nice taps, sensor-operated light, big shower, separate toilet compartment (so I could use sink when others were using toilet), great towels, hairdryer and toiletries, excellent lighting, enough counter space, and a bench near the shower for placing things on. Only thing it could use is 2 more wall hooks. - decor: modern yet warm with the use of walnut tones and color accents. - bed: very comfortable, nice sheets and a duvet that was the right weight, a choice of pillows - adequate plugs and lighting options - bedroom separate from the sitting area with sofabed (albeit with 2 swing doors, not totally soundproof or lockable) - hallways and doors: it's a weird thing but they are gorgeous and the journey to my room just made me happy - reception staff who were very welcoming and are well-placed near the entrance. Thanks for the help with making a good dinner restaurant booking - breakfast area which is comfortable and acoustically great (not loud and echo-prone). Self-serve buffet options are fairly simple but included bread (including gluten free), olive oil and hummus, fresh and dried fruits, nuts and cheese. - location: less than 10 minutes walk to the Forum and around 10-15 minutes from the prime shopping area around Spanish Steps

There really isn't much. As mentioned, the bathroom could use a couple of wall hooks near the shower. I would have loved some ham or salmon on the breakfast buffet. One hiccup: staff had stored luggage for us after checkout for a few hours. We called and asked for it to be brought out and loaded into the taxi as we were running late, but the luggage had been placed on a cart with another guest's luggage so we had to pick it out. It would be best if they used tags when storing luggage.

Gorgeous hotel! Wonderful location! Excellent staff! Terrific on-site restaurant! This Hotel has it all- and it’s all brand new! Will definitely be recommending this one to all my family and friends. White glove service and everyone knew our names. We were celebrating our Anniversary and my Birthday and the staff sent up Prosecco and a little cake for us to celebrate with . We also, upon check in- received a room upgrade to a junior suite! Gorgeous room with a luxurious bath! the shower was so huge and high tech with every kind of spray imaginable . Every detail was thought of during our entire stay.
