Maalot Roma - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

The hotel is situated in the city centre, 30 meters away from the Fontana di Trevi. Despite being in the middle of the hustle and bustle the room was silent and relaxing. Additionally I found the room to be bigger than usual, very comfortable, with a very well designed bathroom and a tastefully decorated bedroom. The entire hotel is well kept and well designed. Staff was very friendly and expedient (Alessandra was just outstanding). I would most definitely recommend Maalot for a stay in Rome

As described above, the hard product is very good, however my opinion is that breakfast is slightly misaligned with the excellence of the hotel. The selection caters mostly to people who appreciate sweet options, I would suggest a more balance approach to the offering, maybe including some savoury items from the get go, without having to request specific meals from the menu.

The location was great. You can walk to all the main sites and shopping strips. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food was of a high standard and delicious. Pastries , assorted breads and scrambled eggs that melted in your mouth. You also have the choice of dining for lunch and dinner in their many beautiful areas of the hotel. A beautiful bouquet hotel in a great location. A cosy family feel but with luxury. But what makes a place exceptional is the people. All the staff were amazing!!! You were always greeted with a smile and it was their pleasure to assist you. Thank you for making my stay so memorable.

Absolutely fabulous staff. The hotel room was extremely comfortable and well furnished. The hotel is in a great location; very busy area but the sound proofing in the windows was very very good. The hotel itself could not be better. We would definitely stay here again

The kitchen needs improvement. We dined there one night and would not again as the food was far too salty and took a long time to come; the table next to us complained as well. The staff dealt with it very well though. The breakfast was also somewhat basic given the price of the hotel.

Extremely central location in what is a walking city. A stones throw from the Trevi fountain. Lovely vibe and decor in the main atrium and restaurant. Rooms were fresh, comfortable and nice. Just remember that being so central just outside the door it gets super busy, that said the rooms managed to stay quiet all night and lovely and cool with great aircon. the concierge / reception were very helpful throughout.

Shower had a small issue / leak that wasnt fixed but a small issue overall. Breakfast is good but perhaps a little rigid in what's on offer giving you a load of pastries you may not finish but not offering lots of alternatives included in the the price.

Before we arrived the hotel contacted us, looking if we need anything. We asked for a dinner reservation and they took care of it. Then we had a late check in. We arrived to the hotel at 2 am. It was Fabrizio who warmly welcomed us with a big smile and glass of Prosecco. Then he showed us the rooms, which was perfect. very clean hotel, everyone was very kind. Breakfast was great, with fresh baked pastries. One of the best experiences we had. Very close to everything. Comfortable room.

Can’t even think about one thing we didn’t like. It was a perfect staying.

The Maalot Roma was absolutely amazing the hotel staff could not be more gracious and accommodating everything was absolutely perfect. We arrived by taxi and even though there were large crowds because the hotel is just steps away from the Trevi fountain it was no problem at all as the hotel staff anticipated our arrival and helped us with our bags once inside we were greeted by Laura who took us up to our room, showed us around the hotel, made reservations for us and explained the inclusive morning breakfast service that was absolutely delicious. The suite we stayed in was exceptionally beautiful the bed was very comfortable and all of the amenities that you expect in a luxury hotel were there, anytime we come to Rome we will definitely stay here.

from the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of for us. The staff was attentive and kind and every detail of the property is well thought out! I wrote it was our honeymoon when we booked and we were upgraded from the most basic room to a one bedroom suite! we arrived inside and there was champagne and little treats! It was so kind. the breakfast they provide in the morning is also delicious and very yummy! Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

We have just returned from the Maalot Roma and it was simply wonderful! Such a stylish hotel and the website pictures do not do it justice. If you worry that the sales pictures won't be matched when you get there, don't be as it's as beautiful in person as it is on the web. However, what takes it to a whole higher level are the staff. From the moment we walked in to the point we departed they were stunning. Attentive, warm and helpful and honestly the staff made the stay for us. A nice hotel is one thing, but staff trying their best to make your stay enjoyable is so wonderful to experience. Patick and Vitaly were superb but I could not give this review without mentioning Francesca who is the jewel in the crown. What a wonderful person she is and a highlight of our trip to Rome. Thank you.

Having to leave. Nothing I would fault.

The room was beautiful and comfortable, we especially enjoyed the little sweet treats upon arrival (macrons etc.) Nice that the minibar was complimentary (only non-alcoholic drinks). The hotel decor is fun. It's smack in the middle of tourist central so very walkable to everything. The food was good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of assorted pastries and toast.

As a new hotel, the restaurant/bar/reception area didn't seem to run very smoothly. But everyone was nice at least. The dinner service was a little subpar as the place seemed understaffed and we had to wave people down to order things, but most of the food was tasty. Again, it's in the tourist center, so very convenient to walk everywhere, but expect large crowds right outside the door at all times.

We spent 6 nights at this new, very lovely and modern hotel. It is squeaky clean and new and decorated impeccably. We stayed in one of the suites and it is spectacular. The bed is very, very comfortable, the tub and shower are amazing and the hair/soap products in the room are fantastic. There is a lot of space to unpack and put your clothes in the closet. We arrived to the room to find prosecco and some delicious treats with a warm note from the staff! Thank you! The mini bar was included as well as lots of water provided at no extra charge. I can't say enough about the staff/concierge. All are very dedicated to making your trip an amazing experience. They are warm and inviting and can't do enough for you. I felt like I was visiting family! Thanks to Laura, Luca, Gian Luca, Giuseppe, Fabrizio and everyone else for making our time in Rome extra special with reservations at some very memorable restaurants! The location is a 10, with quick walking to many important sites. Outside the hotel is always bustling, but when you arrive inside it is calm and wonderful (an oasis in the middle of Rome). The breakfast is a 10+ everything was delicious and the coffee incredible! The Aperitivo is a 10! For the gym people, this hotel does have a gym on the lower level which has everything you need. I did not, however, use the gym as we walked at least 10 miles a day! Thanks so much for a very memorable stay! We loved it and will recommend you to our friends!
