Hotel Tritone

We love Hotel Tritone. I have stayed there 3 or 4 times now. Sadly, even after the lovely renovations, it still suffers from the smell of sewerage when one enters the room😢. The location and staff are exceptional!

We travel by family 3 people. Hotel staff was exceptionally helpful. Helped us organize Vatican museum visit, what was impossible independently from the web; without extra charges. Breakfast was very good. Location is perfect, just in a middle of all Rome beauties and not far away from subway. Shower room is clean, hot water or drainage have no issues Great value for money, I would come here next time as well.

Room window going towards busy road, what makes it slightly noisy.

Location is excellent, Trevi fountain 3 minutes away. We walked everywhere easily. Breakfast range is limited. The Rooms were clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were let down by night porter quoting 60Euro to book a taxi, instead we asked for a taxi on checking out. this was 4AM, the taxi arrived in 2 minutes, charge was 30Euro.

Room 105 has two single beds, laid out end to end fixed within a frame. The bed sizes are too small, so you have to sleep with legs hanging out. The only other downside was some noisy guests with American accents singing at 2AM, not the Hotel's fault.

The reception staff were so helpful.. The breakfast staff were so lovely.. The rooms were very comfortable. A reception comfort area would be nice..but they were so good to mind our bags so we could sight see..on check in and check out The hotel is in a great location..near the trevi fountain.. The breakfast is contenental..but there are boiled and scrambled eggs..and fabulous cakes..yum

The mosquitos..i had to have the window open at night as room got too hot..but the aircon..is still on winter mode..so gave out heat not cold.. the receptionist kindly explained.. but in the warm weather this wont be an issue

Very close to the city center, the bed was comfortable and the staff very welcoming and helpful, especially the young man at the desk. It was nice that you could open the windows.

The breakfast didn't have a lot of options. You eat practically the same thing if you follow a diet. The fridge didn't seem to work, you couldn't move the curtains enought so you could let some light in the room. The room was dark with not much access to light.

Perfect location. Very easy to take the bus to main attractions. Excellent staff especially Giuliana. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. Beds super comfortable. Cleaning staff very friendly and accommodating.

Ants in the bathroom and some were found in my sons bed. Nothing catastrophic but minor nuisance. Shower pretty small but I guess normal for boutique hotel in center of Rome.

The location was amazing! We could walk to anything, but the Vatican. You could technically walk there as well, but we had kids and that was a bit far for them. The a/c was amazing! They played music on Sunday that came through a speaker in the rooms. You had the option to turn it up, down or off. We left it on because it was just pleasant and a nice touch.

we got a free upgrade always a bonus stayed on the 5th floor with a balcony. excellent breakfast. for you brits reading this there isn’t a “full english” but that was a problem for us as the bread meats cheese cakes coffee juice is what we love. the cafe next door does take out drinks we got a few cocktails to enjoy on the balcony. the food looked nice from the cafe. there is a metro 5min walk away and the Trevi fountain 3 mins away. (there’s a lovely cafe to the left of the fountain that does the best pistachio filled croissant they open at 7.30am NO crowds at the fountain) nice and clean hotel and a super comfy bed, plenty of hot water.

nothing, yes the room was a little bit damp but this wasn’t a problem for us at all.

Location is perfect, you cant ask a better one in the city center. Top touristic attractions as well as sevices and shops are in close proximity. The staff was very kind, polite and helpful. Room was very clean and have all necessary things. Breakfast also very good. Totally recommended for everybody who want the full Rome city centre experience.

The only con I can think of is the double bed which was in fact 2 single mattresses, but apart from that the bed was however comfortable. Not a tragedy of course, its just a small and friendly remark to reach pefection on that price level. :)

The location was fabulous, right around the corner from the Trevi fountain but without the noise! The rooms were comfortable, clean and with air conditioning. The staff was helpful with proactively asking us if we needed a taxi or tour. As a bonus, Roberto, at the next door restaurant @giaroma.it served us wonderful pizzas and antipasti dishes.
