CLEAN, QUIET, FRIENDLY STAFF. This sweet little hotel is right by the train station and a number of parking garages - a very busy part of Venice but once you're inside, all is serene. My room opened onto a busy parking lot facing the train station but it was completely quiet. I drove to Venice Ca' Doge offers private parking and there are several lots immediately adjacent. Note - parking is quite expensive, about €40 per day. It's easy to get into the main attractions of Venice by water taxi or bus. Totally recommend! There are lots of nice places to eat a few steps from the front door.

Wifi was anemic.

The location is perfect, you get off the bus and you are only a few meters from the hotel. It is also a great starting point for trips to the center or to the ferry. The apartment is amazingly large (35m), nicely furnished and very clean. Cleaning is done every day and perfectly.

The only downside to this hotel is the extremely loud floors, so if you are not on the top floor and someone walks over you during the night, you won't get much sleep (our upstairs neighbors arrived or left between 3 - 4 a.m. and we couldn't sleep). There was also very noisy cleaning the streets (or trash), I don't know why it has to be done between 5 - 6 a.m.

The location was perfect for us. We had one night in Venice with heavy luggage (after a month in Europe). We wanted a hotel that was in Venice but where we didn’t have to drag our bags around. Ca Doge is right at the transport hub. The room was clean, spacious , air conditioned with a nice bathroom. It was very comfortable and quiet (despite the traffic). The lady at the front desk is very helpful. The canals (and Vaporettos) are 50m from the door. The airport bus is also 50m from the door. St Marks square is a pleasant 20-30 slow walk from the hotel. Around the corner are lots of charming (and cheap) restaurants. There is a Coop supermarket next to the Vaporetto wharf.

It has no views (unless you like looking at cars & buses). But as we were in Venice for only one night, we only used the room to rest/sleep. Had to carry the bags up a couple of flights of stairs.

Location was great. Within 100 m of Vaporetto and just over the bridge. Parking was available at the hotel and easy. Family room was nice and large. They allowed us to leave our bags in the morning after parking the car.

Hair dryer needs replacing. If you stay here bring your own. After 5 minutes of trying to dry my hair it shut itself off and my hair was only slightly less wet than straight out of the shower.

The place is clean and no bugs. Liked that I could get to the place without having to climb stairs or having to get in a water taxi or sea bus because I was lugging around 2 large suitcases. Great location. Could easily get to St. Mark's Square using sea bus. It is walkable but very easy to get lost. The bus terminal is right across the street. There are restaurants, a convenience store and markets very close by.

Was unaware that there was a reception desk. Thought I would be meeting someone outside. Failed to see a button outside the front door. Even though I said I was outside, nobody came out to meet me.

We liked location, it is on the bus station and with possibility to left there laggage before check-in and after check-out - very comfortable. Breakfast in the nearest restaurant was nice too.

In the evening it can be quite noisy outside as it is on the bus station where cars are going too. Also seems the ceiling is wooden so we heard how the people above us where walking.

The front desk attendant was very nice. The room, sheets, towels, bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. Both bedroom and bathroom were roomy and well lit. We also had a electric kettle to make tea or coffee in our room early in the morning. It is located across the street from the bus station; literally, steps from the direct bus service to the airport. Great find!

No elevator. I knew this since a booked the stay, but I did not know then that floor heights are taller than usual in more modern buildings, so carrying my bags was a bit of a hardship. Nonetheless, the convenience of the location and comfort of the room made up for it. The common area is run down; the place could use a face lift. As expected, it was a bit noisy but closing the shutters helped reduce the noise.

Great location on the very edge of Venice , last point of access for cars , close to local bus and train station. A 25 min walk to Rialto Bridge and a 40 min walk to St Marks square. Very close to the people mover (which is like a mono rail, which can take you to the Venice bus station, ie. for longer bus travels to neighboring EU countries. Room was very large. Comfortably fit 3 adults.

Location and room were really nice, clean and spacious

I don't like that without being in the center of venice the price pf this hotel is still absolutely ridiculous for just a room but this seems to be the norm in Venice unfortunately

If you want to be far from the center and close to the main transport there like bus to mainland and train, then the location is perfect. However, if you are looking for something close to the tourist area, then you would expend like 10-40 min walking (depending where you want to go)

The heater in my room wasn't working 100%, however I didn't complain.
