A highly convenient location, just a few steps away from Piazzale Roma. Numerous Vaporetto boats and buses make stops here, and the Saint Lucia train station is located just across the bridge. If you need any essentials like cosmetics or snacks, a supermarket is right around the corner. Rest assured, despite its central positioning, the atmosphere inside Casa Sant'Andrea remains relaxed and tranquil. The breakfast spread is delightful, featuring pastries, buns, hard-boiled eggs, cereals, and notably, they offer soy milk which I found pleasing. The entire staff is truly exceptional, helpful, and friendly.

The Wi-Fi signal in my room wasn't very strong, which resulted in a rather slow internet connection.

Excellent breakfast they had croissants, sweet treats, juices, water, coffee, meat, cheese, bread, fruits. Rooms are clean bed is soft and comfortable. Nearby church bells ring only during the day. We had an early departure and the manager got us 6 breakfast bags to go. Definitely recommended location.

For the elevator you have to hold the button and is very slow. It’s well maintained clean and it works it carried 3, 50 pound suitcases to the second floor. If you are fit, active and can climb steps you should not have any issues here with a 2nd floor room.

Absolutely amazing location , very easy to assess all the transport facilities. Rooms are good and clean nothing spectacular and if you are lucky enough you can get one with the canal view. We requested one when we reached and the staff said they will arrange as soon as it becomes available and we got it the second day of our stay. Breakfast is very simple not with so many options but enough to give you a morning start. Staff are lovely and al ways ready to help. Overall very happy with the stay and will recommend it to others!

Nothing in specific but breakfast could be bit better with more options:)

The location was amazing, it's really close to the bus and train stations in Venice, as well as the main vaporetto lines. Breakfast was really good. It's until 9.30, which is maybe too early for some people, but still a good motivation to get up earlier :) Room cleanliness was also fine, as well as the room size. Bathroom is really large, so I would maybe suggest adding one more cupboard in the bathroom for leaving my stuff. The staff is very helpful with everything, and there is also an option to leave your luggage in the hotel the last day, if your transport home is later in the day.

The lift is very slow and not very practical to use. I would suggest using it only for the luggage on the first and last day of the visit. However, the staff is always there to help you navigate the lift if there are any problems, which was really good.

This hotel was located in a great place for us. It's just off the Grand Canal (which means it's a little quieter) but really close to a vaporetto stop. The rooms were a decent size (there were 4 of us in the room) and breakfast was amazing. We loved that the hotel was a former monastery built in the 1500s. It had so much character.

Only one complaint from us - the beds were a little hard for our taste and the pillows were a bit flat. Having an extra pillow or two on each bed could have solved the latter problem.

Location was close to transportation hub and walking distance to all the sights if you like to walk, but tucked away in a quiet area, which was nice. The breakfast was varied and complete though no hot dishes were offered. It is self-serve. An elevator in the building can be used to get heavy luggage up and down the stairs if needed. The bathroom was large, and though the shower was small, it had great water pressure.

My only complaint was that the mattress was probably the hardest I have ever slept on and it reminded me of the plastic crib mattress my kids slept on as babies.

Location, location, location! Easy to spot when entering Venice if you’re coming from the airport by land. Water bus (vaporetto) right out front. Terrific food co-op around the corner on the way to the bus station, tourist information, more vaporetto stops, and the Grand Canal. The room and bathroom were clean and daily maid service was a plus. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, even loaning me a phone charger because I had to buy a converter that worked in Italy (which they had at the co-op for 10€). They kindly upgraded me from a single to a double room at no charge. Loved the high ceilings and large windows. Room was quiet, no street noise. No bugs. Comfortable. Great water temperature and pressure in the shower.

Despite the upgrade, the room size was still small. No place to put my suitcase except the bed and no room for a small refrigerator which would have been nice to have for leftovers. Breakfast was adequate but I’ve had better, especially in Italy. Large bathroom with bidet but tiny shower. Weird.

The staff was exceptional! They were kind, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was spacious. Breakfast was included. They have a suave to hold your luggage if you arrive before check in time or need to stay in the area after you check out. (We needed to use this option due to our flight departure time.) Also, SUPER AMAZING bonus was that it is located very near Piazzle Roma AND the train and bus stations as well as multiple water taxi locations. The location was stellar! The value for the cost was wonderful for Venice.

Nice staffs. Quite spacious room and bathroom. Quiet at night. Close to People Mover and water bus piers.

-Old elevator and not working during my stay. -The staff told me via Booking message that I could use hotel receipt for 10%discount of parking fee at Tronchetto and Garage San Marco. In fact, staff at Tronchetto Parking said that I need to have a voucher. Comparing for full 1-night parking fee+return tickets of People Mover for 2 ppl, I think parking at Garage San Marco without discount will be more convenient. -It's not in the middle of Venice. If you want to watch sunrise, you have to walk for 2+ km in the dark.

Very friendly and helpful staff, we were made very welcome. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet, given how close to Piazalle Roma it was. The location is excellent for vaporetto, distance to the railways station and bus transport - and an easy stroll to many restaurants, galleries etc. It's quite a long walk from St Mark's Square but that is a plus as there aren't so many tourists.

The breakfasts were bland and fairly minimal (although the coffee was ok). It's an older hotel and the rooms are a bit tired.
