Hotel Florida

Location was amazing. Perfect if coming via train.

Had to go to other hotel up lane way to check in. Also you have to use pin that is on back of key tag to access hotel which wasn't explained.

that it is pretty close to the train station, no need for big walks since the city has no cars. the hotel is perfect for smooth stays, bars everywhere around, restaurants are just by the door. clean and good value. and nice views, coffee shops and amazing church is nearby

despite its a 3 star hotel but I expected a bit more on the room furniture.

the staff made me breakfast to take away cos I had an early train

the property was pretty basic,

The location was superb just round the corner from the train station and 1 minute walk to all bars, restaurants and The Grand central canal. The roomwas compact but suited our needs with excellent Air con, fresh towels and room cleaned every day. Breakfast was in the Twin Hotel down the street, basic contenental, plenty of ham, eggs, cheese, fruits etc

The room was a little small and only 5 coat hangers The breakfast room was on the small side, time had to be booked

Rooms were okay. It has beds, linen and closet but there is no interior or big comfy beds as such. We chose this hotel because we were on a budget trip and it was good for the price we paid. Location is very good, close to the main train station. breakfast was served in their sister hotel 30metres away from the property and it was excellent. Continental breakfast was served(no self service. But I didn't find self service anywhere in Italy)

Rooms could be more clean. My partner found the floor sticky when walking. It has marble floors so very cold in the winter. There was no one at the reception at night and we had issues with wifi password and hot water from the taps took time but we had no way to get in touch for the help.

The staff is amazing and always eager to help, The breakfast is wonderful and a great start for the day... Nice assortment of items too.

Room 18 is small but sufficient. The only recommendation is to have a power outlet somewhere close to the desk. It is difficult to use a laptop for work because of this.... Otherwise, nice and cozy little room :)

property is near by the train station and the entrance to Venice. It is very clean and looks better than the photos.

although we requested a very calm room, it was anything, but calm. Sally needs a lot of soundproofing because in Venice, they ring the church bells very early in the morning and at night. Also, the people walking by, drunk and shouting in the alleys. Will definitely wake you up or keep you awake.

The position next to the trains and after check out the free luggage store...the room was simple but its ok for a few days,i liked....

The woman at the breakfast was rude...the breakfast very simble ,coffe ,juice,and 1 small croissant..

I recommend everyone to stay at the Florida Hotel. The location is great, right next to the Santa Lucia train station and Ponte delgli Scalzi. The rooms are cleaned daily, the bathroom is spacious, there is individual air conditioning, wardrobe, desk, cupboards and chairs in the room. We even got a mosquito repellent plug-in. The sweet breakfast served in the hotel next door is absolutely sufficient and includes, among other things, croissants, toasts, yoghurts, fruit salad, various cakes and cookies, jams and melted cheese. The service is nice, communicates well in English and responds quickly to the needs of guests. This is a great choice for enjoying Venice and not ruining your budget.

The air conditioning is noisy (it turns on every now and then and it is a bit troublesome at night), but the earplugs eliminate this inconvenience. The bed springs are a bit worked and the mattresses buckle, but it was not a big problem for me (although it may be for a bit heavier people). However, these are small things compared to the advantages of this two-star hotel.

Short walk from the station, you won't have to carry bags around venice. They keep our bags on the day of check-out if needed. Spacious room, bed was confortable and big. They took care to provide a mosquito repelent that plugs on the wall. I didnt remember that I had breakfast included that was a nice surprise. Some tourists were complaining that breakfast wasnt a real breakfast and they bad to go elswere and being really annoying. For european standards the breakfast was great: DELICIOUS CROISSANTS, bread, various spreadings and coffees, juices, yogurt, cereal, cookies and other stuff. Some people have insane standards and should reserve a 5* hotel for a breakfast of kings.

Room was a little bit worn out due to humidity and some damage on wooden doorframe that could have been fixed, but nothing special and does not impact the stay.
