El Sueño Hotel & Spa

The hotel is very charming and nicely decorated rooms with an old but tasteful, “Hollywood” vibe. Each room is named after an iconic Mexican actress. Very clean, beautiful courtyard and sitting areas. The hotel has a restaurant /bar with wonderful food and drinks. The breakfast included in my rate was plentiful and delicious. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The location is within easy walk to the center of town, shops, restaurants and shopping. The parking facility is across the street from the hotel which was included in our rate (big bonus). The only negative thing is that we had to shorten our vacation by one day due to Mexico’s law that does not allow you to drive your vehicle on certain days based on your license plate number. We mentioned this to the receptionist when we checked in and was told we wouldn’t have any Issues. However, upon further research we leaned of would be a problem. The hotel did not want to credit us for the last day. If we had known, we would have changed our reservation before checking in. .

Improve WiFi. Service is horrible. I had work remotely and ended up having to go to an Internet cafe and use my phone data in order work.

Good location, Clean, Cute hotel, Nice ambience with water features and plants giving a relaxing tropical feel. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and restaurant- very good service and accommodation of dietary restrictions.

This place is a bit overrated due to favorable mentions in blogs including NYTimes. Quriky layout of the hotel makes it a little clumsy to get around, esp if your room is upstairs. Double-side keyed door lock not safe and wouldn't pass code. They need to invest in key-card access locks. No coffee maker in room. A/C remote batteries were loose, hard to make it work. Pool, sauna, and jacuzzi seemed kind of lame (though we didn't plan to use them so it didn't bother us).

Really loved my stay at this hotel. Everything is accessible. The service from everyone at this hotel is second to none. The only small issue would be the internet connection but there was a solution found immediately. Things that are important to me made my stay memorable here, I was in the heart of city center, enjoy my long walks every day, the breakfast had several options for the week I was there, the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Would definitely consider staying here again!

El Sueno is a beautiful hotel and spa in a terrific location! The breakfasts are delicious and the servers SO very friendly and professional.

Although the room we stayed in was generally comfortable, the beds and the pillows not so much. After a few nights both my sister and I were waking up with back aches, but less than luxurious beds, I've found, is par for the course in Mexico.

picturesque hacienda style hotel, beautiful individually decorated rooms, right in the middle in the historic centre of Puebla. For breakfast there was not a lot of choices but all was delicious and portions good. definitely recommend to use the spa treatments, we felt like born again after that! restaurant at the location is very good. valet parking works super well. it was perfect!

We had a great stay in this hotel in Puebla. Staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. You can clearly tell that professionalism is valued at this hotel. All details are taken care of. The inner premises of the hotel are smashing. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in Mexico. It is presented nicely and served by a very friendly member of staff, who keeps on asking if all is good ("more coffee?"). The location is perfect, close to the main plaza. Free and secured parking is provided.

Nothing really, all was good. The only thing is that they could not fulfill our request for a late check out due to the high occupancy rate. Instead they did provide us the opportunity to use the (showering) facilities after check out.

The location is great. The hotel design is very nice. The service is quite friendly and attentive. The facility is very clean and the food is delicious

The pool wasn’t that useful because it’s basically in the lobby and in the shade - kind of a weird place for a pool. But that’s a minor quibble.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! You can't beat the location - within walking distance of most of the attractions and transport to get to farther out attractions. Wonderful Stay!

Loved this boutique hotel! For the price, it was my best stay up to now in Mexico. Staff super friendly and helpful, there was closed parking which we needed due to our cars. And the decoration of the place, so many little corners, plants....and amazing breakfast!
