It was a top joint. Great kitchen and the TV room and all the premier league football

There was a very disruptive elderly woman there who continually found ways to fall out with people. One or two other guests would have stayed longer but for her presence. She even hovered over a bed and videoed a young man while he was sleeping at one stage. Surely this is harassment. She should have been kicked out. Other than that all top.

Clean, cozy, warm, hot water, chill. Good if you're looking to be by yourself in peace with comfortable accomodation and don't need to meet anyone else.

No staff were present after check-in. Was double-charged at check-in and charges didn't fall off for a week. Really struggled to store and retrieve my luggage and turn in my key. Zero social scene, not for travelers looking to make friends. I'd recommend the new Casa Pepe in Puebla instead, it was much better.

The hostel really surprised me. It's no frills, but really comfortable overall. I've stayed at a number of hostels in Puebla, and I would come back for the price and quality. Basic but comfortable beds, old lockers if you need them. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot and had good pressure. There's a decent sized kitchen for cooking and there is a filtered water station (not always provided elsewhere). Only a five minute walk to the Zocolo, and the fob keys work well to get in and out of the building. Two really good coffee shops with tasty breakfasts directly nextdoor. Miguel and the other staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Only criticism: the pillows could use a replacement. Not much stuffing inside of them.

I was very happy staying at this Hostel. It is one of the best places Ive stayed in Mexico. It is an old brick building that has been newly renovated. It is very clean and spacious with windows. It has a nice clean kitchen and places for eating and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful, always cleaning. It has a nice outdoor patio. Good wifi. Bathrooms are clean and spacious with hot water. Beds are comfortable. It is a great value and in a great location walking distance to the Zocalo.

I have no complaints.

In my travels in over 20 counties, I have stayed in many hostels. This is one of the very best! The location is perfect. It is very clean, full of light, air and space. The hostal has a spacious very well stocked kitchen, and plenty of showers with lots of hot water. It has a wonderful outdoor area with comfortable seating and plenty of space. The owner speaks excellent english and quickly responses to messages. I have been here 2 months and things just get better and better.

The traffic noise from the street. This is only during the day. There is no noise at night.

Awesome location, comfortable rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Super clean; the staff clean meticulously every day. Good communal areas too.

Similar to what other reviews say, it's very noisy, but not the fault of the hostel! And there are no screens on the windows so the mosquitos can be quite bad.

This hostel was absolutely fantastic! First the building is so full of charm and character, I fell in love as soon as we stepped inside. The whole thing is very new, but incredibly well set up and well stocked. Super comfortable and the rooms stay cool even when it's roasting outside. The staff were wonderful and I truly enjoyed my time in this hostel. If you're looking for a super social/party hostel this probably isn't it, but for a calm escape from Mexico's hustle and bustle you cannot beat it

Nothing, the place is practically perfect!

Beautiful place, well located, big rooms, big kitchen with all utensils and a table. Mature guests. A silent place ideal for working, not socialing or partying

There's a lovely young man attending guests some hours a day. Unfortunately, there's no staff on the premises many hours a day. I had to check myself and find my own bed. In my room two lockers were broken and one female shower had no pressure. It's a shame that the beautiful terrace is not better equipped.

Really chill comfortable hostel within walking distance of Centro with big bathrooms and a community kitchen and nice patio and common areas.

There aren't enough lockers in the dorms and some of them are broken so I had to share a locker with a friend that was staying in another dorm.

Amazing value for money. I liked the location and nice, big kitchen. It has great potential, just needs some minor improvements.

The kitchen could be better-equipped but I think it's work progress. Out of 4 showers for women, 2 had really poor water pressure. Also note that there's no reception, you check yourself in like an airbnb. Not a problem but there's no one to ask if you want to know how to get places or best restaurants etc.
