The peacock alley restaurant is more like an afternoon snack lounge than a restaurant. I find tables too low and very uncomfortable when trying to eat. Good food though.

Room was excellent with the free upgrade which was a bonus! Breakfast was good and hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Bar staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome
Hotel bed was a bit hard but still managed to sleep well. tried to book a treatment but Unfortunalty we couldn't get one due to not booking in advance.

Basically, the place to stay in Amsterdam with outstanding service and facilities to match. The Aesop toiletries are a nice touch.
Not convinced it was great value for money. The 'free' laundry service in the room guide was charged but otherwise hard to quibble.

Immaculate hotel in every way. Amazing vibe and decor, fantastic attentive staff making you feel welcomed! Due to NL Covid restrictions the restaurants were not open, but the in room dining options were great and the food was delicious. Room was beautiful and spacious. Bathroom had both bathtub and separate shower and luxurious Guerlain amenities. Pool access is 24 hours. This is best hotel in Amsterdam and in the top tier of hotels in Europe!

The historical building itself , the attention to detail , the staff are exceptional and very attentive. I have stayed in all the top hotels in Amsterdam but this by far stands out amongst some of the best hospitality in Europe. I will be visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect. The staff so helpful and kid and the hotel was beautiful.
The pillows on the bed were a little too soft. However I did request firmer pillows and they were delivered to the room very promptly.
