Beautiful clean hotel, with very hospitable staff

Fantastic team of young staff -really helpful and friendly. chic and comfy hotel. Excellent location in the Jordaan-perfect access everywhere. Unlimited coffee and afternoon cakes! Very clean and pretty comfortable for small size. Quiet.

It’s TINY and although it is lovely this needs to be explained - could be a little too intimate for friends travelling together (twin beds almost on top of each other) Also NO BREAKFAST available ( this is wrong on Booking.com) Lots of options for breakfast around but you need to allow for at least another £15 per head per day and everything very expensive at the moment

Every member of staff was extremely welcoming and very keen to ensure our stay in Amsterdam was a great experience. A reusable plastic bottle was provided for each guest and fresh lemon and mint flavoured water was available to drink.Tea and coffee from a machine and biscuits were complementary throughout the stay. We received a very welcomed goodie bag on our departure.

The small, double rooms are very compact but this was made clear when we booked. They were fine for a short break using only cabin sized luggage but would be difficult to navigate with a couple of large suitcases. In this instance, it would be best to book a larger room.

The location is about a 15 min walk from central. The staff upon check in was excellent. The room wasn’t quite ready but we were provided with coffee and pastries and by the time we came back lunch it was a smooth check in. The room was a good size for a couple, with only drawback being the shower drain is in the middle of the bathroom floor, very annoying. It’s central enough to walk to all the sights but far enough to be quiet time in a Saturday night. Plus the wifi was good enough to watch Netflix on my firestick

This is a small hotel in a good location... adjacent to a canal and near restaurants, and approximately 1/2 mile from the Anne Frank House. The rooms was clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They made some great recommendations for places to eat and they do provide water, coffee, and snacks for all guests.

The room is very small, and like most other European hotels there is very little space to put your luggage and belongings. We had a problem with the shower in our bathroom, as the floor flooded every time we used it. Staff was understanding and said that some of the rooms did have an issue with this. There was really no solution except to provide extra towels to sop up the excess water.

I travel for a living and see a lot of hotels, this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It was all in the details, the rooms were great, with refillable water bottles waiting for you to use, the coffee bar with plates and cutlery if you needed it, games and books in the lounge area, the free adorable postcards to send to family or friends, free fresh pastries every day, the help yourself coffee bar, the gift bags they gave every guest filled with cute snacks. The staff was incredible, they took their time in the service with each guest, I never felt rushed. They were welcoming, inviting, patient and paid special attention to details. An incredible experience I’d give this place 100 stars if I could, definitely recommend you stay here if you are in Amsterdam.

Great location, a really clean and lovely neighbourhood on the edge of a canal.. Lovely cafes and restaurants and a market on the doorstep. Friendly helpful staff and the goody bag on check out was a nice touch

My only issue and it’s not related to the hotel itself but something they could maybe address is that during my 3 night stay 2 mopeds arrived separately every night locking their bikes directly in front of the floor to ceiling window in front of my bed waking me. They appeared to be residents and whilst I understand that they might live there and I’m only a guest, maybe a request from the hotel to park against a wall instead of a guests bedroom? I’m sure I can’t be the only guest to come across this..

We had a lovely time on Amsterdam. It's a lovely hotel, all you need for a good holiday. Comfy bed, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Also pastry around 4pm. For us what made the difference in this hotel was without a doubt THE STAFF.  I would say they dont go the extra mile. They do extra MILES ! There was NOTHING too much trouble for them, whatever we needed help they did or give us ideas to what to do or even a chat while it was too hot to be outside which was great time. Shoutout to Betty, Alba, Eti, and Wyatt. You guys made our holidays THE BEST holiday so far in amsterdam and made this hotel a very easy stay with many good memories 🥰 This staff deserve a raise ! The hotel stop doing breakfast after COVID-19, which is a shame since the pastry are amazing i could only imagine breakfast would be like. Also the shower is very small, the toilet is quite cramped, could do with being turned so is facing away from shower as the glass is on your knees.

The service was excellent and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I checked in early and they were able to give me a room immediately and they even upgraded me free of charge. I loved how comfortable the room was. I slept really well that night. They even provided a goodie bag when I checked out of the hotel which consisted of snacks and skin care. It was so sweet of them. The location was so handy as well. I was able to take in the sights of Amsterdam by utilising the tram. It’s my first time to travel solo so I could say that it was a success. I definitely recommend staying in Linden Hotel! It was a perfect experience!

We cannot speak highly enough about the property and staff! The rooms are cosy, very well presented and very clean! The location is sensational with so many restaurants and bars nearby, and you are very close to the major attractions and Centraal Station. The service from the staff is some of the best we have ever come across. Friendly, knowledgeable and just a delight to chat to. Special shout out to Bettina for all the advice and help. Not a main tourist area which is a plus as it's quite and better value but you are still centrally located. Highly, highly recommend you stay here when you visit Amsterdam: you will love it!
