Very close to the city center (15min walk), tiny but comfortable apartment, very good contact with the host, almost vertical stairs (REALLY!) were nice city-related experience (typical for Amsterdam's tenements), however I do not recommend using them with a huge suitcase ;)

Small things that might improve the experience a bit if added: cloth hanger, mirror (there was one in the bathroom, but we could see our foreheads mainly, bigger one in the hall), mugs, some desk or table top - basically a place that you can put your belongings

My partner and I really enjoyed this location, the ensuite especially was a nice touch even if it was just a short trip. The location is very good for the price, a mere 10 minute walk to Centraal station. Supermarket very close too which helped with acquiring snacks after a long day in the city.

I would say that like the rest of Amsterdam, it is expensive which is not the fault of the owners at all but still something to bear in mind. The stairs/bannister could do with a retouch. At some points the handrail was wobbly but I can't remember where exactly. Other than that, loved it as a place to lay out heads after a long day with lots of walking!

Good mattress and clean. En-suite toilet was clean and there were spare towels provided. Plenty of space if you decided to store clothes in the dresser.

Was only one nightstand in the room I was in. Would’ve liked somewhere to plug my phone in / a lamp on both sides, but due to constraints of room size I understood.

It is very close to the center and the cool restaurants and cafes. There are night markets closeby thay you can get whatever you need. It had a coffee machine and teas that we really appreciated. It is definitely very good for the price you pay.

The rooms are on top floor of a four-story building, but we were informed in advance about this therefore we were ready to climb up some stairs. Yet it was still a bit of an inconvenience. Also the beds could be a little bit more comfortable, we were given two single beds that were pushed together and differed in their softness (pillows were also different).

Bed was good and the room was different as Amsterdam has different architecture and design of home

bathroom needs a plumber with a worm to do a big flush of the down pipes as the bathroom had that rotten drain smell also locks need tightening as one was lose and one was sticky

the steepness of the stairs to the room on the 4th floor. dangerous if you are carrying anything

The location is perfect, close to anything in the city. The hosts made me feel like home right away and were very pro-active to make me feel welcome. The room is spacious and very clean, would recommend it to anyone and will be coming back may I be in Amsterdam again :)
