The location is excellent, the hosts are very nice and helpful, the bed is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and delivered to the room. I am highly recommending this accommodation.

Our room was huge, and grandly furnished (as in the photos). Our room was on the ground floor, but overlooked the back garden. Very quiet. No stairs! There was a kitchenette with kettle, fridge, microwave and nespresso machine. Ours hosts were friendly. Generous breakfasts were served in our room each morning. We had use of the courtyard garden over which our room looked. Excellent, safe and dry bike storage.

There is no reception. Self check-in. We received no instructions regarding the key lock box. We had to phone for instructions, using global roaming on our New Zealand Sim card. $12.00. Grrrrr......

Fantastic location, close to all the sights, and with a very handy airport bus directly outside the front door. Owners Ad & Esther are lovely people, who provide a fresh & fabulous breakfast each morning. Apartment itself is historic, beautifully furnished, and with access to a charming garden. Very comfortable & quiet. Little kitchen is very handy. We had a fantastic 6-night stay, at the end of our 3-week trip in Netherlands. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Haarlem.

All good... can't think of anything.

Owners were very accommodating and it helped they could speak English. The location was close to everything. We are older but do lots of walking and did not rent a car this time. We saw what we wanted and got there on foot but there is also busses right out in front of their door if you can't walk. Breakfast was wonderful!!!

Breakfast was wonderful but it is served to your room at 9 am. We eat breakfast at home earlier but we managed. They were so nice that out last morning we had to catch a bus to go to another country and we needed to check out at 7 am. They brought us all the breakfast items the day before. That was wonderful for them to do that for us.

Lovely room in a charming old building, beautifully decorated and clean, with very kind and considerate owners. An added bonus is the secluded back garden, which was a great place to sit in the evening. There's a bus stop right outside the property, from where it's a 5 minute bus journey to the train station: the station itself is within easy walking distance. There's also a useful 'Jumbo' supermarket directly opposite. If you're visiting The Netherlands I'd recommend staying in Haarlem, which is full of quaint buildings and cafes and has excellent shopping. The Dutch rail service is so good that you never have to wait for more than a few minutes for a train: Haarlem is less than 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal and just over half an hour to The Hague, with easy connections to anywhere else you'd want to go.

The room was charming, comfortable and well-equipped with a convenient en-suite shower room and kitchen corner. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, suggesting sightseeing possibilities. The breakfast was delivered promptly to our room and was a comprehensive continental breakfast with everything fresh and tasty. The B&B is located a few minutes walk from the Grote Markt and many of the sights in the centre of Haarlem. We would love to return.

Great location in the centre of Haarlem. Lovely, relaxing stay in a heritage property; lots of character and charm!

The B&B has no private parking facilities for guests. We had our own car with us so this required a little bit of planning on a daily basis so as to avoid any parking fines and/or charges. The host's website gives advice on how best to go about this.

From the moment you opened the door and were greeted by your hosts, you just knew you were in a “home away from home” The breakfast, location, room, facilities ( I could go on and on) were nothing short of exceptional. Your hosts are the most friendly, kind and informative we have come across( and we travel a lot around the world) Why would you stay anywhere else but here!

The hosts were fantastic, friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. The location. Size of the sleeping and living area. The large windows, charming garden view. The lovely breakfast, the welcome flowers.

Rug/carpet is a bit tired. Mattress was sloping in two different directions from the centre and was too soft / springy for us. The bathroom is a bit cramped.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Esther and Ad were very welcoming, and the breakfast was wonderful. The location was perfect, it was an easy walk or bus ride to to train station, and it's right in the middle of charming Haarlem. We had a lovely stay.

Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
