We could park our bikes in the back garden during the night. The breakfast was excellent. Large choice from the menu. The personnel was very friendly and cooperative. The location of the B&B in the old city centre is perfect. It's located in a nice small shopping street, which is quiet at night.

The outside temperature was very high, which caused the orange room at the top floor being very hot. There is a need for improved cooling of the room for these conditions. There could have been some more hooks in the bath room.

The location was great! It’s a 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station. Right in the heart of town on a quaint street with shops and restaurants. The host was very sweet and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the light, fresh breakfast in the morning was a nice start to the day. We stayed in the King room, which would be best for a single night (although we stayed 4 nights). We saw the “Queen Studio”, and it would be great for a longer stay.

In the “King room”, the bathroom in particular, but also the shower, were a bit odd, as they were apparently fit into what had been closets. There was no place to hang clothes, and there were no comfy chairs to sit in, just the little chairs at the little breakfast table. The narrow stairway up to the room would be difficult with larger bags.

I've traveled a lot and this is one of my favourite places I've ever stayed. I was sad it was only for one night. The atmosphere and character. The location couldn't be better. There was something super cool about walking into a restaurant and up the stairs, felt like you really live in Haarlem. Lovely breakfast and a well-equipped kitchen. Modern touches like dimmable lights. Solid Wifi. Nice smart TV. The list goes on.

It might not appeal to everyone that this is right on a pedestrian street. So lots of hustle and bustle during the day. (I personally loved this. I would just sit with the windows open and listen to the people walking by, and without traffic sounds, it was very pleasant.) But Haarlem sleeps early, so you don't need to worry about noise keeping you up (or at least I didn't notice anything). The only other thing is the bathroom is quite small and not really private. There's essentially just a sheet covering the door. Didn't really bother me, but was definitely a notable downside.

Lena and Kenneth took care of everything we needed - from the start, our flight came in the morning and Lena allowed us to keep our baggage at the premises until check in time. She even did her best to clean the rooms quickly so that we could check in earlier. The daily breakfast was superb and we always had more than enough. The hosts were so generous with what they offered every day, and helped us to customise it here and there based on our feedback. The place itself was so quaint, a beautifully restored heritage building with a fantastic restaurant at the first floor. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we always felt safe and very much at home. On our last night, we booked a table at the restaurant below, and were treated like royalty - we ate a scrumptious and hearty Dutch dinner, and were even treated to generous extras such as traditional Dutch dessert and liquor. It was an amazing amazing end to our stay and we really appreciated the experience very much.

It was not a big issue at all, but the bath area did not have a door and so for us (we come from a v hot climate!) it made showering a little cold! The toilet was also a little smaller than we were used to, but again, this was more just about adjusting to the space. We didn't feel uncomfortable and help was always available if we needed. A fair warning to anyone with knee or leg issues, as is in most of the heritage buildings there I believe, there is always a steep climb involved to get up to the room :)

This B&B has the perfect location in the city centre. The room is spacious and beautiful with a great view and beautiful stained windows. The owners are very friendly and helpful and make you feel like you're visiting friends. The breakfast is fabulous and very varied. The kichenette is very well equipped. In the nearest area there are many great places to eat and drink. I can't wait to come back there!

Loved the green room and the location. Great breakfast and very welcome bottle of wine upon arrival. Thanks guys, we'll be back! Bring earplugs and a sleepingmask as it is in the middle of the center and the room is very bright. Not a complaint as we always bring those anyway, but good to know for future guests

A lovely intimate hotel offering B&B. With only a couple of rooms, owner-run, above a cafe/restaurant. I felt very well looked after and enjoyed the ambiance and individual room. It has a well appointed kitchen and dining/sitting area. Right in the centre of this gorgeous town.

Nothing!

The place was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, an extra bonus to the lovely room. Our hostess was helpful and quick to respond to our questions.

We had a hard time understanding some communications because they were in a language other than English. For some reason, our Google translator was not a not able to translate to English.
