Haarlem Hotel Suites

Excellent location in beautiful and interesting Haarlem. Very well placed for all the vibrant bars and restaurants around the charming old church square and near the river front eateries too. Very good service and in partnership with an excellent cafe around the corner which provided a good breakfast option, including for vegetarians. After our long weekend in Haarlem, we would not choose to stay in Amsterdam again; we much preferred the vibe of this gem of a little city - a quick 15 minutes away from the more expensive (and busy and noisy) capital, via a very inexpensive train - and these hotel apartments a good choice to make a stay here, to enjoy the sights of Haarlem and have lovely day trips into Amsterdam, a very pleasant option indeed. Thank you.

Beautiful location, amazing shower + bed, delicious morning espresso, helpful staff, lovely night of recuperation and rest. Easy walk from train station (15 min). Grocery, coffee, restaurants all around. Staff ready to assist with all your needs. (I rented a bicycle- discount thru hotel- and cycled to zandvoort). I'd book here again.

The appartments are spacy (especially for the price and Dutch flats!), personal is very friendly and accommodating, luggage storage before check in was possible and it was even brought to the apartment by the team, luggage storage and toilet visit were possible after check out too. It is super central, you are 2 minutes away from the market square via a street lined with restaurants. Kitchen included water cooker, stove and oven (with microwave function), several pans as well as cutlery and cooking equipment plus salt and pepper

Distance between reception and appartments is 200 meters through a inner city street lined with shops and restaurants. Not that far and an issue, but surprising.

we enjoyed the stay very much as my hotel suites come with kitchen & balcony. I can cook and eat in the house. it is clean, mattress and couch are comfy. strategic location with restaurants and bars surrounding. will definitely come back

without lift.. this have to carry the suite case to the top floor and the staircases are very steep. tall guy/girl will got their head knocked easily as some part of the house have some wooden beams. is good for Asian as generally Asian are not very tall.

The location was excellent for the city centre, riverside and Frans Hal’s museum. The reception staff member was particularly welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was quirky but nice. It had a well equipped kitchen. There was a good view across the rooftops towards St Bavo’s Church. The street entrance was conveniently located for the shops.

The bathroom had a small hand basin with a cupboard above it which made face washing and teeth cleaning more difficult for a taller person.

I loved the location, terrace,and the helpful people at reception. The room was comfortable, clean and had quality amenities. This hotel paid attention to details to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The two flights of stairs were a problem. However, in Holland, this is normal for a house. The ladies at reception came and took our suitcases up and down for our stay. The view from the terrace in front of a cathedral was perfect.

The location of the room, central Haarlem, above an Indian restaurant on a busy shopping street, everything is on the doorstep.

We would prefer a way of washing the crockery after use, the only water source is the bathroom (through the bedroom etc) next time we would go for a small kitchenette. This room was fine for us but the stairs to the property are so steep almost ladder like in width and angle! The top steps are angles and only a few inches wide.

A group of four friends in Haarlem for a weekend. The location was fantastic. The two suites (Klein Hout 6 & 7) were clearly new, with a stylish contemporary interior. The spaces were spacious enough (within the limits of an old dutch building) and well equipped. Communication with the staff was friendly and efficient. We asked for two adjoining suites if possible and they facilitated this with ease. Checking in (at the reception) and checking out (online) went smoothly.

A detail perhaps, but we did miss the lack of a full length mirror in the suites. Please note that the stairs to the suites and the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep. People with mobility issues will have problems.

The hotel are actually former apartments which were converted into hotel suites. So there is no common area to gather, the suites are spread throughout Haarlem old town. It is less a hotel approach of stay than rather "renting" an apartment. Staff at reception is very friendly and helpful and does the upmost to please their guests. Suites are in the middle of the city center, everything is in walking distance. Suites is in a old type house with steep steps but nicely reworked and wel maintained.

Breakfast was only served in the room, there is no buffet as common area is missing.

Rose called me the day before to ask what time we would be arriving and said we could drop our bags anytime. we arrived very early dropped our bags which were kindly put in our room . we were given a glass of fizz on arrival and taken to our spacious room. There was a free bottle of wine also which was a lovely touch. the suite was spacious and very central near all bars, shops and the square.
