Hotel De Zoete Inval Haarlemmerliede

I really loved the quality of the hotel. The staff was always very friendly and the room was exceptionally clean.

My sister and I were traveling during the day to Amsterdam and we know there was a 4 euro shuttle to the train but we were going for three days so we just did not realize it was going to be a 20 minute walk to the train everyday. that was more on us than the hotel.

Staff were exceptional, did everything to accommodate us. Remembered little details, would always ask how our day has been and willing to talk less or more by our vibes. Shuttle service they offer takes the time of a 10second call and the driver to walk to the car. Instant every time. Only issue we had was that it does not run too late (so we never used one to come there only leaving to the station). Able to hire bikes and electric bikes which we did make use of. It’s a great ride to the train station. Area and location was beautiful, less travelled due to it looking out in the sticks although it is 0.3m or so from the train station and the walk there is beautiful, lakes and cute bridges. I was put off other comments specifying it was dark and unlit, as a young female I can confirm it is unlit and dark but felt safer walking this than any UK path. A gorgeous bike ride too and can chain up bikes at the station for a quick return. The train to and from Amsterdam central is quick and you see gorgeous views, horses, sheep and cows. Which changes super quickly into typical tourist Amsterdam. Clean everywhere, room was adequate not luxury but wasn’t basic and awful, shower was great too and had a hairdryer. Relaxed vibes. Cute walks around but didn’t get to do too much, ducks around etc yet only a short train away from the centre. Beds comfortable and curtains black out, I overslept and it was dark as night.

Constructive feedback, the vending machine is cash only, a small array of more snacks would be great but I’m being fussy. Leaving the key behind the desk when out for the day was a strange concept, but we never lost it. Repeating myself but not too late a transfer for shuttle to hotel from train, I think they said it was 10pm, last train was about 1am, although I walked it happily in the dark and I’m easily freaked out by noise and dark and murderers.

We chose to stay here because it had a free car park and the reviews were positive. It was exactly as described (spacious and plenty of parks), and the room (comfort twin) was exactly as portrayed in the photos for our room type. Thank you for that very important accuracy on the booking site. The room was a perfect size for our short stay. Everything in it was as it should be - the shower was so great that hubby was tempted to have another close after the last one! The bed was comfy, bedding great with the split bed. The service was excellent and friendly and always someone on the front desk when needed. We cannot fault this place for anything - thank you for a very pleasant stay.

No negatives at all

Great staff, clean, beautiful rooms, cleaning is top notch. We used the shuttle to the station several times - very quick, convenient and inexpensive. I would say bikes or a car would be more convenient to get around, but walking to and from the station is still a good option because the road is nice enough and the nature around you won't let you get bored.

Noise isolation in the rooms is not the best - you can hear the snoring of neighbors, aircraft noise. When someone washes in the middle of the night - from the bathroom you can hear the noise of water in the pipes. But for the price, it's still a great option for sleeping, especially if you don't spend all day in your room.

Great place to stay, as I was going to the F1 in Zandvoort. The reception staff spoke very good English. Shower was nice and big. And they made up my room everyday. On Sat/Sun they took me to the station for free. Tip: IKEA/Train Station(Haarlem Spaarnwoude) is about a 15 min walk from the hotel. It’s 3 stops to Zandvoort. Return ticket cost approx €6.80

Bed was a little soft for my liking, and the room doesn’t have a fridge.

This was our home base whilst we explored Amsterdam and Haarlem. Wonderful staff, warm and clean rooms, great bar within the hotel’s own bowling alley - was nice to have a drink and snack although they have nice restaurants on site we were out touring most days. Easy 10 mins walk to Sparnwoude station - train to Haarlem or Amsterdam every 10 mins. Situated next to a nature reserve. on-site carpark a bonus as we had a hire car. Highly recommend for a few day stay to explore Netherlands.

The property/stay completely matched up to our expectations: the staff was always very welcoming and attentive, we slept super well (comfortable mattress and pillow) and the shower was also very good: spacious cabin and adequate water pressure and temperature. Other positive points were the free parking for our car, the quality of the Wi-Fi, the bathroom toiletries, the size of the room and its acoustic insulation.

I don't know if this is the right section but the staff were beyond amazing. We were a difficult group, and they made it super easy for us after a long journey with multiple complicated check in times across the party. We love them and we'd come back again in a shot next year if that's how things turn out.

Good hotel, room small but functional, asked for a quiet room and was super quiet and had a great sleep! Room was quite small but the bathroom was big and very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. All of them, made my stay even better, give them a raise!

Breakfast a bit basic for the price. Wifi could be faster but enough to do some remote work

A very nice done and clean hotel. Perfect breakfast and a VERY good restaurant in it (it's often full, so to book in advance is not a bad idea). Non-central location is compensated by a reasonably priced shuttle service. We enjoyed staing in De Zoete Inval. Thank you.
