Exe Praia Golfe

The location was beautiful, our room was fantastic and the view was breathtaking and one of the nicest staying experiences I've ever had. The huge beach facing room was fit for a family of 6 and there were only 2 of us. We had the best view of the beach on the 8th floor. The massive bathroom and shower and walk in closet made this feel so luxurious. A premium mattress and good size TV made this feel so special and exclusive. The indoor pool was great and the sauna/steam room was a good size. All were quite clean. We didn't try out the massage services but they had a few masusses walking around. The breakfast was pretty average and food they served was good if you're in a pinch and your between opening ours of Resturants. The staff were pleseant and helpful, the breakfast staff were very attentive to my girlfriend as she was Vegan which we appreciated. Big shout out to the young woman who worked at the bar, she spoke great English, was very hard working and helpful to a lot of guests she really stood out and deserves a raise!

I love to work out and the gym was pretty old so just be aware they don't have many weight lifting equipment, just a few machines and treadmills. I didn't have the best experience with the front of house staff at reception. This is me really knit picking but they weren't really enthusiastic or too attentive. They let the experience down just a bit as I'd say this is very much a 4 star hotel.

The location is great as it's close to the beach and nearby shops/restaurants. Depending on your room's location, you can get really good sunset scenes. Breakfast was really good as it contained several varieties; pastries were newly baked. They may add a bit more varieties for hot breakfast items. Providing multiple coffee machines made things easy for the guests; plus self-serve hot water for tea as well as many cold fruit juice options. The staff were nice and helpful when approached.

The wi-fi was veeeeery slow, couldn't stream anything although the signal was full strength. It looks like they have only few people for room cleaning, so it takes too long the turn comes to your room for cleaning.

we lived this place with a retro 70s vibe especially some of the decor. The hand built tiles at the front of the building and in the dining room, the stair case and glass work. it is a great example of 70s design even if the exterior is rather dull. The views over the beach are amazing particularly the sunsets. The staff are very friendly. Great breakfast. what more could I say!!!

The areas around the hotel need cleaning up. it makes the hotel seem scruffy and it’s not! The area outside the pool with sun loungers is sad and neglected! With a bit of inspiration and attention this area could be fabulous. with guests enjoying drinks and snacks watching the sun go down!

Near beach, walking distance to shops and bakery. 10 Min to train station. Rent an E-Bine for 30€ per 24/h or normal bike for 15€. They have only 2 by the way and 2 normal bikes fir kids.

We where walking around, up and down, pass by the hotel and did NOT recognice the hotel. From Beach side it was not written anywhere. Many windows but no name. We pass by the entrance, did not not not see the main entry. There is no way that you will recognice this hotel as a 4* Hotel.

The reception staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was good and there was a wide selection. The chargable secure car park was spacious and easy to navigate. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the railway station with regular services to Porto.

It was disappointing to find that the bar had no open air terrace, the air-con was not on fully and all the windows were closed.

Breakfast was lovely - something for everyone. Location fabulous right on the beach.

Our air conditioning unit only lasted 3 minutes at a time and the signal was sketchy on the TV. Also pool is quite small and busy as sometimes waves too much for kid’s swimming in the sea.

it was near the beach and it was near cafes so I had the perfect breakfast the swimming pool was stunning and the sauna was givingggg I didn’t try the breakfast but there are nice cafes walking distance as well as restaurants

the bathroom wasn’t too luxurious

We had a great time at the Exe Praia Golf! The hotel is very nice! The pool and sauna amassing!! The room very comfortable! The breakfast great! The ocean views amazing!! We would definitely stay there again!! The beach is also very nice!! Close to Porto and by car we went to explore Port but stained far away from all tourists…😉🤗

All good! Just need to improve a little bit the internet!! Everything else was great!!

Location was very good, right next to the beach where you are able watch the fishermen catching and bringing their haul in to awaiting customers. Also enjoyed watching people surfing. The spread at breakfast was great and plentiful.

My only really issue, which wasn't the hotel's fault was the begging outside the hotel. The hotel is next to a casino and was accosted each time we left the hotel.
