9Hotel Mercy

I booked this hotel for a couple of nights on February '23 and it was a marvelous stay. The entire staff was so friendly, attentive, and very informative. I celebrated my birthday here in Lisboa and the hotel was kind enough to provide me with a free bottle of wine. The room was ample and modern with a very comfortable bed. The location was conveniently close to everything: the metro, shopping centers, restaurants, tourist attractions, and the wonderful nightlife Lisboa has to offer. I'm looking forward to staying here again when I get another chance to visit this picturesque city. Muito obrigado por tudo!

Everything met my expectations.

Stayed just one night on a return from the Algarve preparing for a morning flight. The hotel is in a great location for Barrio Alto and Alfama, shops restaurants etc. The design is very cool and the lobby has espresso and water etc. in a nice little lounge. The rooftop bar was closed as it was Sunday. Our room was on a lower floor and a bit dark and on the smaller side. The terrace was an odd little concrete space halfway below ground looking at nothing... all this was fine for a single night stay when we weren't there much anyway! It was a good find last minute for under $200E

Great location for nightlife, bars and restaurants. Lots of city centre sights within walking distance. Bed was very comfortable, rooms very clean, good shower, excellent Wi-Fi.

Sockets by bed not very accessible. Shower curtain leaked water out into the main bathroom. My 2nd Floor room window faced another building about 10 feet away so had no view, and no privacy without curtains drawn, so consequently a bit dark. Building was so close, you couldn’t even really tell what the weather was like!

We chose no breakfast and there were many coffee shops and bakeries which was all we needed. We must admit that the steep hills in Lisbon and 9 Mercy Hotel area were a little exhausting for 70 yr olds. The bathroom with our hotel room was huge, nice tub, adequate closet space, comfortable bed. The rooftop lounge closes on a whim. It was late October but it was not raining. We are Canadian eh!

The housekeeping should learn to whisper not hold a 30 minute Gab fest. If I am not yelling in my room why should they in the hallway?

We had an excellent suite with a patio which had a view of Lisbon. We loved the entire suite. It was comfortable and roomy. We loved the fact that it had coffee maker, bath tub and a gorgeous view from tha patio. We also loved the breakfast and the staff. They were very helpful and nice. They helped us book restaurants and referred to great places with Fado music and awesome food. They helped with taxies too. We want to thank them all for superior service. We'll definitely book again for our next trip. I already recommended them to a friend.

The hotel was really central location in the old town, really near to shopping, bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar was a great bonus. The breakfast had a great selection. Staff were pretty much without exception really friendly and kind. I injured myself while on my trip and needed ice which was very kindly provided with a smile! The room was well appointed, bed really comfortable and shower had great pressure. The room also had a cute Juliet balcony overlooking the street below

Only a couple of small things - we were upgraded to a lovely room on the first floor facing the street, but it wasn't ideal if you were a light sleeper. You wake up with tram noise, traffic and generally people passing on the street. The room was also quite dark with little natural light but in an old building this is to be expected. And finally there was a big gap under the door to the bedroom which meant that corridor lights shone in at night - we had to block with cushions and pillows.

Great location, close to everything in the old city. Rich breakfast that can keep you all day through till evening. Upon check-in we got a room facing the back of the hotel with no view at all. After requesting the morning shift front desk manager (unfortunately I recall his name) to check for an alternative room, he checked, rechecked and haven't given up till he found a replacement (20 minutes at least). He demonstrated an excellent guest hospitality and willingness to help. Everything was great.

Location was perfect for the old town and water front, just a short walk from some excellent bars and restaurants. the room was fairly small but the beds were clean and comfortable, water pressure in the shower was spot on and there was a good selection for breakfast in the attached restaurant. Rooftop bar was nice for a pre-dinner cocktail too!

Quality of the toiletries was poor and not enough provided for a couple staying. We constantly had to request more from reception. Not enough electric points either.

Very modern clean hotel, with very friendly welcoming staff. Location is very central for Barra Alto. Rooms are a good size and the showers were excellent. We were very happy with our choice and would definately recommned to others. The breakfast in the mornings was also excellent.

The hotel had no real bad issues with it. We were checked into a room with twin rooms as opposed to double but that was quickly rectified by the friendly staff memeber behind the counter.

Situated just far away enough from the hustle & bustle if you wanted of central Lisbon this hotel raised levels. The room was exceptional & the breakfast was great. The rooftop terrace has the most gorgeous view not to mention the cocktails.

Nothing it was perfect for my short stay.
