Montebelo Vista Alegre Lisboa Chiado Hotel

Quiet and great location, right in the downtown. Right next to art galleries, restaurants and bars, and less the 5 minutes walking to the river Tejo and to Terreiro do Paço. Breakfast and very pleasant service. Highly recommended!

Location, Location,Location!! The hotel is a new hotel , running for about a month or two, so everything is new and beautiful! The location, is the best! In the heart of everything, but still in a nice and quiet . Staff was very nice and welcoming. Cute breakfast, not big, but totally has everything you need. Everything is clean an new, so that’s nice, but they are still adjusting to the routine of being an hotel

Since the hotel is new, you could feel that some of the workers are not fully on top of everything. The cleaning staff, often forgot to do something in the room ( put more soap, or put new towels), but one call to reception, and they responded in a heart beat! The workers at breakfast did not always speak English, and did not understand whether you wanted milk or caffè lattes .. but the is very minor things, for a new hotel.

Very central and beautifully decorated We picked this hotel because of its amazing location. The ambiance was a wonderful surprise, very warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated by the Vista Alegre brand. Everything looks just beautiful, and it has everything you really need for a Lisbon stay. The location is very central, walking distance to almost every major sight and really close to the river. Very lively area, but the hotel feels very quiet and safe. Our room was very large and comfortable and overlooking a nice public square. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was just wanted, suited us well with combination of cooked and lighter breakfast items

Storage space in the room for hanging clothes was mixed with the coffee maker, and did not fit longer clothes. Hard to place suitcases. Restaurant wasn't open as still being set up

The interior is beautiful! And the staff couldn't have been any nicer, we felt welcome from the moment we stepped in. And the room was everything we could have wished for. Honestly, don't hesitate to book it! Worth every penny.

Great location for tourists. Design is A+ beautiful. Staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Included breakfast is delicious and well maintained.

A few rooms, including mine, are pretty small, although others in our party had "normal" size rooms for a European hotel.

Perfect location for sightseeing trip! Nice decorations! Brand new, just opened 2 month ago, in a nice historic vila!
