Raw Culture Art & Lofts Bairro Alto

Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best continental breakfasts I had. Room was fun, spacious and very well provisioned. You can see many small details around the hotel where it's clear someone made an extra effort. I loved it. WiFi was especially good. Bar had great drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'd certainly be returning.

There's no parking on site, one parking spot is 200m away (it's 200m of ascent from to the hotel) and quite crowded on weekends - maybe there are others closer. Water pressure was weak.

Loved the feel of the hotel. The artwork added to the ambiance. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and their positive attitude was infectious. The best customer service we have experienced in Europe. The breakfast was the best we have experienced in our recent travels.

despite the quadruple glazing, it’s a very loud part of town with music and partying going on until 4am on some nights. there are two set of double glazed windows which does dampen the sound quite a bit but it is still loud. which is fine if you’re out partying but not so much if you want to sleep

We loved everything about the property but the staff put it over the top. Everyone was exceptional and made us feel like family. The room was large, breakfast phenomenal, the unique artwork was almost like a museum in itself and 3️⃣!!!!!

Truly, nothing we didn’t like. Maybe the room could have a little brighter lighting but that’s about it.

You have to like the central location of Raw Culture. Very convenient to walk literally everywhere and have many options for meals, shopping, bars, late nights or whatever else is attractive. The rooms are big, well appointed, have very good and modern bathrooms/showers and fast internet. The AC works really well to keep the rooms cool when it gets hot (and it got hot...). The decor in the rooms, the bar and common areas is outstanding and special, particularly if you like old Norton motorcycles :)...The best of all is the friendly and helpful staff on site, all of them have to be recognized for exceptional service. Next time Lisbon will include Raw Culture for us. Definitely!

Nothing I can think of, really.....it's a busy area, Bairro Alto, so if you like a quiet lifestyle it's probably not the area you want to go to. If you like it, well, there you go....

I think this hotel is in my top 3 hotels. From the moment you walk in you’re treated like a long lost relative and nothing is too much trouble. Philip greeted us and showed us to our room, throughout our stay he was always there. We left early to get a train and so he’d packed us a breakfast and left nice messages on the boxes for us. Sam made us amazing cocktails both nights. He was a delight to speak with. The room was huge! Designed really well, lots of nice furniture, spotlessly clean. Despite being in the middle of busy nightlife, the rooms weren’t noisy and we slept really well in the comfiest beds. (Sam’s cocktails helped with the sleeping also) Breakfast was amazing, great omelette, lovely bread, fruit and macarons. Brilliant hotel, lots of attention to detail and whoever designed the decor should have a round of applause. Very cool and trendy hotel with amazing service.

The price was a bit on the high side but the staff made up for this. The area was alive and vibrant. We had some issue with cabs not wanting to go through the street security. It was an amazing place. The room was amazing the staff was above and beyond helpful. One of them (Sorry about the name may have been Thomas) walked me to the pharmacy on his off hours.

As I said it was a little pricy compared to other places but the staff really made up for that.
