LUSTER Hotel

The Luster is a small, modern hotel with high standards. The comfort, cleanliness and welcome were second to none. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a good district of the city, slightly out of the busy tourist centre, but with shops, bars and some nice restaurants just around the corner. A Metro station is 100m away which gives easy access to the airport, town and mainline station. This is great place to discover Lisbon from, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

All was good

Location was great! There is bus station and metro station right next to hotel. Also 2 minutes away there are grocery shop and big mall that has everything. The hotel itself is beautiful and new. It had very nice spa: hamam, sauna and swimming pool. Gym is small but it has new technogym equipments. Me and my husband really enjoyed breakfasts they served. It was very delicious and had many options: buffet and ala cart, fruits, cereals, eggs, vegetables, cheese, meat, pastries! My husband said that the hotel offered the most delicious croissants and bread in Lisbon. Also, people at the reception are very nice, they recommended to visit Sintra and Sintra is wonderful city full of magnificent views Overall, we loved our stay there. One of the best choices to stay there and explore Lisbon

The breakfast was amazing, so many options and the food was excellent. The hotel is gorgeous, it is brand new and beautifully decorated- and the staff was very helpful. Rooms were beautiful, very clean and the hotel smells amazing! The hotel is one short metro ride away from the airport -about 15min. It is an easy downhill walk to old town. It is on many metro lines and easy to get anywhere.

The only thing we noticed was there wasn’t Kleenex in the bathroom. Everything else was beyond perfect.

The whole hotel was really modern and well done. The room was amazing and the bathroom was great. The staff were all really lovely and friendly. The breakfast had a really good selection with a buffet and menu items. The location was a little bit of a way from the main centre but we were happy to walk the 30 mins or so - otherwise Ubers are super cheap and the metro is also just around the corner so it isn’t inconvenient at all. Everything was very clean and smart, and our whole stay went very smoothly with lovely extra touches. It was my partner’s birthday and they left a little bottle of fizz and an absolutely delicious cake in our room which was really kind. We would definitely recommend this hotel and a visit to Lisbon in general!

The pillows are incredibly soft which we didn’t like - we would have liked a choice of a harder pillow. The pool was lovely but it was only in the sun for a few hours in the middle of the day which wasn’t very convenient.

My husband and I reallt enjoyed our time here, thank you! Super clean and aesthetic modern design, comfy beds. Delicious breakfast (yummy omelettes, scrambled eggs, criss-cross Danish, biscuit pudding, roasted veggies and lots of other options). Lovely pool area. Nice staff. Very well located near metro and buses. It was easy and fun to get around. Yummy virgin mojito and ginger coconut mocktails. I definitely recommend Luster hotel!

Everything mostly was great. Only thing which was a bit funny was the sliding door in the bathroom so that only one side could be covered at a time. Better place needed to hang towels and better exhaust although the bathroom didn't get foggy at all.

Some staff at breakfast dont know a single word of english , specially the lady at the entrance. She doesnt know what is 'ICE' , doesn't know avocado, omelet, and many more which is weird she is also the bartender for the rest of the day.. the male server at breakfast is the worst in lisbon, very rude (was there on the 26th of August) .. breakfast is very very basic. Rooms have smell of mold . Housekeeping is very slow sometimes they come after 1 pm .. the guy at the reception when we arrived on 23 was also bit rude our room wasnt ready at 12 when we arrived which was fine , asked him when to come back to check he says i dont know although he knows the staff started cleaning it ..

The hotel was very modern and new. Everything was very clean and the swimming pools and Wellness area was fantastic. Shower was powerful and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and lots on offer, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs etc. Delicious. I had a facial and other people in my party had massages. Claudia, the therapist, was fantastic, as in incredible, and is an absolute asset to the hotel.

The pillows. Only 2 on a double bed. One soft which was perfect the other lumpy, why 2 different pillows? The toiletries were never replaced. We stayed 4 nights and the body cream and conditioner didn't get replaced, I had to ask. And the loo roll was only replaced with a new one if finished. 2 days I was left with a tiny amount. Very strange. But these are minor gripes. Not experience runining!!

- Gorgeously clean, fresh, new, shiny, air conditioned and smelled great - outdoor terrace was great, cold pool and hot tub, bar, sunbeds chairs and tables with cool music - rooms were spacious, bathrooms were spacious and clean and functional and beautifully designed and furnished with cool automatic blinds - breakfast was included and was 10/10 - staff were very accomodating to checking out and using the facilities, showing me to a full shower room 4 hrs after check out, helping with anything i needed

- room service food was unfortunately really under par (surprise as breakfast was great) - i had the club sandwich and the lettuce was brown and the chips were completely undercooked, eg. Almost still raw - the aircon wasnt working in my room below 19° and the fan was very weak so i was very hot all night - plz note its a family hotel - i was thrown by lovely spa and wellness facilities and adult outdoor vibe thinking it was adults only but there were kids in the indoor wellness centre pool screaming and being children and ruining my solo wellness vibe :,) - great location to the airport if you wana stay there the day before and enjoy pre flight relaxation but location is not walkable from central neighbourhoods like Chiado, Bairro Alto - altho was just a 15 minute €6 uber

I had a awesome stay at this hotel during my one night visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure that my every need was met. The bar was a nice place to relax in the evening, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety of fresh options that really started my day off right. The room itself was elegantly furnished, making for a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel also had a spa and pool that I didn't have time to try out, but I'm sure would have added to the overall relaxation and luxury of my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.

Fantastic breakfast, good choice and quality. Pool inside and out, jacuzzi and bar were all fab, great facilities for a chill day if you don't fancy trekking about the city. The room was the right size, had perfect black out shutters, a big comfy bed and was well-appointed. We appreciated the turn down service, but it was missed one night for no reason. Friendly and helpful staff.

Location was further than we would have liked to the main centre but well connected for the metro. Gym air con needs fixing, it was very warm in there for working out. Pool was a tiny but chilly!
