Location is great! The property itself is also lovely renovated and very comfortable. The rooms are light and very modern. Really good beds!

The breakfast situation was a big let down. The quality of food was okay, but it could take up to 1 hour to get your breakfast. This is a little annoying when you want to be on your way and explore the city. They also have this fun system where you book a time for breakfast, but when you come down at your assigned time it can be full. Then you end up waiting for other guests to finish their breakfast. This is very time consuming. Very sad that such a nice hotel ruined the experienced with this. Went out for breakfast two mornings of our 5 day stay to save time.

This small, beautifully designed hotel is designed in minimalistic Scandi-style. It’s unique concept is focused on providing guests with a friendly, calm place which also cares for the environment…..we were converted to the soap shampoo bars! Bedroom and bathroom were luxurious and very comfortable; air con was very efficient. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before from a wide choice and cooked by Wagner, the amazing chef, watched by guests. We enjoyed this experience and the lovely staff shared many tips on places to visit and restaurants to try (Tascardoso being a real find as we loved the simple but wonderfully cooked traditional food). Montecarmo12 is different. Engaging with the staff and other guests over a leisurely breakfast allowed us to have a memorable time. For those who prefer a quieter start to the day, breakfast can be served in another area than the beautiful kitchen with its breakfast bar.

As the concept of Montecarmo12 is quite unique and different, by only describing it as ‘a hotel’, allows guests to assume it has facilities big hotels provide which could lead to disappointment. Perhaps ‘Boutique Hotel’ is a better description? We loved it and applaud the staff!

This is a very recently furbished property and visually looks very good. The bed was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Large spacious room with lovely wraparound balcony and views to the Bridge.

A formal reception does not really exist and it is all very much closed doors making it functional rather than welcoming. A entry code was provided upon arrival and a fob in the room. The entry code stops working day 2 and a single fob is not exactly useful between two people. Breakfast is a little disappointing. Sorry guys but the chef cannot make an omelette-served as scrambled eggs.

Modern and new comfortable room hidden in the beautiful old roads away from the crowds. Bathroom was incredible. Staff very accommodating and pleasant. Bed was so comfortable.

First floor room very noisy can hear everyone in the morning coming and going.perhaps rooms on upper floor would be more quiet. I prefer when rooms have locks from inside..I usually travel alone and feel more comfortable when I can also bolt from inside. Also missed a coffee maker as love coffee in morning (I didn’t have breakfast included)

Everything. Amazing architecture and design combined with confort: Love the work of Aires Mateus. Always smiling and helpful staff. Tasty and healthy breakfast available at any time. Organic local made amenities. They thought about all the details and nothing is cheap! Definitely an experience to recommend and repeat.

Great small place to stay in Lisbon. Central and nice location, relatively new hotel with beautiful design, great breakfast . served on a personal basis by a local chef and very helpful and kind staff

The breakfast experienceis like an open kitchen / bar and they cook for you while you chat with the chef. It feels really home like and also the quality is superb and fresh produce. Loved every minute

The decor is outstanding. The bathroom finish is luxurious and tasteful. The location is perfect, many places nearby to eat and shop. The staff was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Lisbon.

I liked a lot the pure Interior. The breakfast was very healthy and delicious I liked the sense of sustainability. And the staff was very friendly.

Just missing a body lotion in the bathroom

Too short a stay to know. The plane was a day late. The hotel remimbursed half of this missed night. Obrigado!
