NH Barcelona Eixample

I liked very much the location of the hotel, in the very city center and few meters away from Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. The staff was very polite and professional; breakfast was well organized and rich, as there were many sweets and savory options. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean and I appreciated very much the sleeping kit that I've received. I can say I am satisfied!

The single room is a very small one and would need a bit of maintenance. The WIFI in it was not very strong and noises from other rooms might be heard. For 2 nights it was ok, but for a longer stay I would find the overall cost too high for the value and I would prefer a bigger room.

Only one slight negative. Some repair work was being done in a room near to ours - this was quite noisy. However, once we mentioned this everyone was incredibly helpful and supportive - the cleaner asked them to be quiet and they were. Then when I spoke to reception they found an alternative room if we wanted it but as the work was finishing that day we didn’t move. The management left us an apology letter with some chocolates too. As a result of all this kindness it didn’t effect our stay negatively at all, possibly quite the opposite in fact.

Nice stuff, clean rooms, and a great location. We were early and wanted to drop off our luggage and check in later, but at reception, we were told that the room was ready and we could check up right away. Everyone traveling with a toddler will understand what a relief it is. Online check out was another point, and we were not supposed to wait even a minute for it when leaving the hotel. The receptionist just asked if we used anything in Minibar or not, and that's it. We will definitely choose the hotel for our next stay in Barcelona.

Convenient and clean. Great shower with good water pressure. We liked the option to not have the room cleaned every day. Free drink if you chose this. Nice environmental bonus.

A little dar fro the centre but we liked the walk. The room felt a bit damp and cold with the air conditioning but it was very humid during our stay. Mattresses were a little hard for us but other people might not find them so. It was expensive but it was better value than other places.

Location is very convenient: in 15 min walk you can reach Pg de Gracia and other central areas of Barcelona. Hotel room was very comfortable and spacious for 2 people. I did not take breakfast in the hotel. There are plenty of Cafeterias around to choose from. Hotel staff are very polite, helpful and made me feel very welcome.

The room I stayed in was not very well sound-proofed so sometimes I could hear other guests talking loud. Apart from this small issue, the hotel is a great one to stay in.

Very good location in a quiet part of town with many restaurants nearby and only a 15 minute walk from Sants (train station). Helpful staff. Hotel is showing its age, really needs some work. Rooms are small but quiet (especially if you're on the back side of the building) and I slept surprisingly well. Shower is strong with plenty of hot water. We ate breakfast every morning at a great coffee shop/breakfast restaurant (take a left when you leave the hotel, go 2 blocks and it's on the left with small indoor and outdoor seating). Overall an okay place.

Rooms need to be spruced up/refurbished.

The staff is very hospitable with great tips to move around the city. Beds are comfortable and rooms have good space. Did not try breakfast as it was not included but seemed a little pricey if paid separately.

I understand being a NH hotel implies being pricier than the average, I stayed at the ne in Madrid and expected to find the sane amazing experience but did not meet my expectations. It was good though and loved the location.

The staff is extremely friendly, we were greeted with a smile. Everything was in order, check in was quick. We got to the hotel before check in (3pm is check in, we got in around 1:30pm). We were fine if we had to wait a bit, but our room was ready, great! We were with three people, we got a fairly big room, enough room for all three of us. The room itself is a bit dated, but the bathroom was clean! We booked breakfast with the hotel, so we wouldn't have to look around in the city to find breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was quite extensive. Lots of options and again, lovely staff. Were greeted with a smile, they were very helpful when we asked for food that wasn't in the buffet. We could even make use of their printing services, cause we forgot to print out our tickets for a tourist attraction we were going to. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we enjoyed our stay with NH Eixample very much!

The only thing that we didn't find pleasant were the thin walls. The second night we heard our 'neighbors' enter their room quite loudly, we could hear everything they were saying (this was around midnight). It was only for a few minutes, after that it was quiet. The rooms are a bit dated. The wallpaper was slightly coming off the walls and the floors were pretty scratched up and the furniture is dated. But the rest of the room was clean, which was something I pay high regard to. For just the three nights it was fine to stay in.

The bed is amazing super comfortable and big. Room cleaned and big, minimal style. Bad room cleaned. Staff super nice and welcoming. Position amazing full of restaurants nearby and close to the city centre.

Unfortunately the room doesn't have insulation at all and you can hear anything from the other room, when our neighbors they were having a shower they look in our bad room! There was a guest who coughed all night and was very annoying!

The location was excellent, a quiet neighborhood with lots of cozy cafes, and the staff was very friendly.

We opted out for housekeeping so we could sleep in since we were partying all evening the night before. We had a sign out opting out housekeeping and “do not disturb” yet housekeeping on the floor was extremely noisy we could here every move they made.
