The Landmark Bangkok - SHA Extra Plus

Rooms were clean, hospitality was good, bueffet breakfast had good variety, though we had to struggle to find something suitable for our Indian taste of food.

1. We were asked to pay deposit of 4k THB while check-in which we were not aware while booking from booking.com site, They should have mentioned it at the time of booking itself. Later when we negotiated they agreed easily to accept it at 1k THB, it looked they were just trying to get some extra money. Though later they adjusted same in final bill, so it means we need to be alert while they do our final billling. 2. Except few (2-3) staff at reception, no other staff could speak English, this is a hotel of Intl standards conducting intl conferences/business meetings, one of which we were attending, so we expected staff to speak at least some common intl langauge, which made our requests not understood by them well so they couldn't fulfill them properly. Rest all things were good.

The hotel was very clean and housekeeping were consistent when cleaning our rooms. One outstanding staff we had the pleasure of having a brief encounter with was Noi who was very helpful and easily understood what we were enquiring about. The hotel bellmen/doormen and valet personnel were all amazing and did their job professionally, pleasantly and efficiently. Hotel location was close to everything we needed. Great breakfast buffet, and room service was also exceptional. The all-in-one bedside remote to control lighting, AC, etc. was very much appreciated.

Most of the staff were helpful excluding one who seemed rude as he kept side commenting and talking with a colleague in Thai in front of us when checking us in. The colleague, however, remained professional and refrained from commenting back which was pretty admirable. We have noticed this type of behaviour in most of Bangkok including retail shops which is a shame as it takes away from the many great and beautiful things the country has to offer. All in all, our stay has been lovely, and if not for our kids' missing home, we would have extended for another 3 days.

I have stayed at The Landmark many, many times. I got an upgrade to a premium clubroom as reward. The breakfast is outstanding and second to none!!

Over the years the number of Islamic guests is gradualy spiraling upwards. But these people may then not eat pork, but they do behave like pigs. When you only see how they leave their breakfast table it's a shame. Further no manners at all, and they treat their wives as animals...This is for me the only negative at The Landmark, where I do understand management of the hotel as it's business,

Very comfortable, clean rooms with all amenities. Central location, next to Nana BTS, plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs in the vicinity. Was upgraded to Executive room on the 29th floor as room not ready / available.

Arrived at 2.30 pm, well beyond checkin time but room not ready, waited for 45mins for room confirmation and was upgraded to Exec room. Even on the 29th floor sound of music from Nana Plaza & pubs clearly audible till 3am especially on Sunday (quiet on weekdays).

Hotel has recently been modernised and the reception area in particular has given the hotel and much fresher, more exclusive appearance. The rooms have also been tastefully modernised, and mostly importantly, the beds are extremely comfortable, exactly what you need after a long flight. Superb location for exploring Bangkok, Great with BTS (Skytrain) only a few minutes walk away, and when you do have to leave, the hotel location, also makes it easy to access to the highway when departing for the airport etc.

Its a small complaint, but the steps at the front of the hotel are a little steep - especially after a long haul flight - that said there are ramps on either side of the steps if need be

5* star comfort at a reasonable rate.High floor with gorgeous city views.Staff ready to please you in every way.Comfy bed,great pillows.Hitech control panel at bedside making life easier.Good selection of teas and coffee.Minibar emptied at my request,but it sure is there.Very pleasant feeling to receive a birthday cake from management! But my positive report has no link to this. Also the location near the skytrain,shopping and nightlife is perfect.

The only thing I would pay attention to is the somewhat noisy AC.I was way too tired to bother, but light sleepers beware. Also on the lower floors facing soi Nana the bars blasting loud music into the night can be an issue.

I already stood many times in landmark hotel. it’s always a pleasure. Rooms have a good size equipped with all necessary incl. Iron and all you might need. Staff is really attentive. First night I had a room to the backside, which was (for me) very loud throughout music from the bars at Nana. After asking for possibility of changing room it was managed in short time without discussion. At early check in I got a voucher for drink at the bar for waiting time. Very helpful getting taxi to most hidden places in Bangkok. It’s the little things that make the difference. For me Landmark offers the best price performance ratio in Bangkok.

Nothing to complain about.

I am a regular at The Landmark Bangkok for some reason. It is not the most modern or luxurious hotel, but it compensates with great service, comfort, amenities and unbeatable location. Staff is always friendly and eager to help. I get a room upgrade whenever possible. The executive level and lounge is worth every penny.

It would benefit from a rooftop bar, but there's plenty around and I don't know if it would be feasible with its architecture. The lobby area could have more comfortable sitting.

The location of the hotel is excellent - close to BTS Nana and plenty of restaurants and entertainment around. I ordered breakfast in my room and it was great. Room service menu, service and taste are excellent. My room was fine in all ways but I had no view at all. Bathroom was very good also. Internet connectivity was very good. Staff throughout the hotel are extremely courteous and friendly.

I had specifically requested for a room on a higher floor with a good clear view. Whilst the room was allocated on the 18th floor, it was facing two tall buildings close to us and offered no view or privacy at all. The rooms opposite the lift do not offer any view at all. Also the Steak and Chinese Restaurant close very early and are not suitable for late diners like myself.

My room was on the 29th floor and had a stunning view. I absolutely loved the hotel and the staff. The hotel was perfect for what I wanted gave me a great base to work from. I enjoyed the massage and facial at the spa, the pool was great. The gym was a full fitness first and was wonderful. Overall my stay was great.

The Terrance staff could definitely work on their customer service, I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. I had a business meeting and thought it would be a good idea to have a early night dinner on the terrace with my client. What a bad idea that was. we wait a very long time to be served and the staff members were rude. After we had ordered I said maybe we should go somewhere else as the staff had ruined our experience but we were optimistic that things would get better. When our food arrived the bread was as hard as concrete and our fries were cold. I only ate a few bites and gave up, my client ate all of his as he was starving.
