Hotel Clover Asoke - SHA Extra Plus

My room was a good sized clean room. It had a small refrigerator with a mini bar, kettle, but no microwave. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and pool, a massage service, and roomservice. The hotel has a small fitness room (Gym) in the basement. The location is awesome. The hotel is in walking distance of the BTS, subway station, 7/11, a variety of restaurants, Foodland supermarket, Terminal 21, Soi Cowboy, Sukumvit, Nana, and The Exchange Tower.

It would have been great to have a microwave.

Hotel rooms are very clean. Location wise, is situated within 5 - 7 mins walk from BTS and metro stations. 👍 We had mango sticky rice on one of the breakfast buffet. On our last day of stay, we asked one of the staffs if the dish is available for breakfast. She apologised politely that it is a special dish, not available everyday. Then the chef, Khun Rose, came to us for feedback on the mango sticky rice and promised to make some in the coming days. Knowing that we are leaving that morning, she told us to wait for 15 mins. Shortly after, 2 servings of freshly prepared mango sticky rice were offered to us. We are extremely touch by the hospitality services offered by Khun Rose and staffs of Hotel Clover. A BIG Thank You.

The water pressure from the shower can be increased.

Very nice hotel, we stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed it very much! The rooms were clean, nice bed (pillows were a little bit too soft), bathroom is nice, shower is working fine and warm water comes quickly. Very very quiet at night! Cleaning of the rooms was flawless. AC worked as it should, although the windows can't be opened (no problem though, you wouldn't want to anyway). The hotel is 5 minutes away from the MRT and BTS Metro and Terminal 21 Shopping Mall with many restaurants. The workers at the reception were extremely kind and helped us with the early check-in at 12 (noon). Breakfast was fine, everything you could ask for. Pool on the rooftop is a little small but clean and had amazing view over the city and the busy Sukhumvit road down below. Pool also has a rooftop bar with moderate prices for cocktails. The Gym room is also situated at the rooftop (not in the basement). Every room has a yoga mat and an exercise ball.

Staff at the breakfast got things mixed up sometimes, but that wasn't a huge problem.

Thank you all for made our trip so special and memorable. Absolutely will come back soon. We also want to say thank you to the booking dept for your caring. I think the hotel is clean, pool is clean. Hotel also close to the Bangkok new Park and Terminal 21. Such a great place to stay in Bangkok. Last but not least, simple but excellent. Thank you

Everything! On arrival, the reception gives the impression of a small, perhaps cheaper, value for money hotel. But that belies what lies beyond reception. The rooms are well-presented and spacious, more akin to a much more expensive hotel. The public areas are clean and quiet, as was my room throughout the day and night, There is a small rooftop pool and bar with some city views, lounge, restaurant, and small gym. Parking is available if requested. The location is excellent - central Bangkok just 200m from Asoke BTS and Terminal 21 Mall. But what makes the hotel particularly special, is the staff - efficiently, friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Breakfast was very good and staff member Rose was extremely attentive and friendly. The location was excellent for accessing the MRT and BST lines plus the Terminal 21 shopping centre. Room was bright and airy with good air conditioning. It was kept clean daily.

Since the lift needed a room key to operate between floors, we should have been issued with two keys. Happy hour at the bar was advertised but we were told it was no longer available so should have been removed from the rolling screen advertising it. Spirits were very expensive at the bar and were not listed on the bar menu so you didn't realise this until you got your bill. The light from the bathroom shined into the bedroom through the glass shower area so if someone got up to the toilet during the night it woke the other person up.

Location is perfect : MRT blue line and BTS line. It makes it very easy to go easily pretty much everywhere (including reaching the ARL to go to the international airport), which is very pleasant when you don't have much time in BKK. The room and the facilities were nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was correct. Didn't enjoy the pool but was according to pictures (not the biggest pool ever BUT really much enough to get a quick refresh with a nice view)

Might sound as an impatient person but having to wait 15-20min for the keys to be prepared during check-in was unpleasant (after a few hours of travelling and having been stuck in the taxi from DMK for a while (bad traffic), we were very hungry and just wanted to quickly drop everything in the room, take a quick shower and go eat). The waiting time at check-in felt like an eternity and could definitely be improved (we saw another family having to wait as their room was not cleaned up yet whereas check-in indicated time was more than 1-hour exceeded).

Perfect location, close to public transit, a beautiful, large park, restaurants, Terminal 21 mall and situated in a quiet location just off of the main road. Check in was smooth with Nadia. We were too early for check in but we were able to change and store our bags. Our room was a perfect size, everything worked perfectly, WiFi, TV, shower, etc. The bed and linens were great. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of foods and excellent service from Chef Rose and wait staff like Kookai. The rooftop swimming pool had beautiful views with a great bartender, Boo. I had a much needed massage in my room at 10pm, can't beat that.

If I have to name something, then it's just that the bathroom is really compact. Not much vanity space for toiletries/cosmetics bag. And the bathroom light shines straight onto the bed through a glass panel, so if someone is sleeping, you don't want to turn on the bathroom light. This is just a small hotel. So, no amenities like big hotels, eg in-house spa, or big buffet lunches/dinners, live singing at the bar. If you are not looking for these, it's a good place to stay.

Kokai and Oil took great care of me when I caught a cold and felt miserable. They did not have to, but went above and beyond to help me feel better. Woody and the ladies at the front were very nice to me and helped answer questions about getting around the city and helped me get what I needed to make the room comfortable.

Not much to say here. This is being picky, but there was a minor maintenance issue with the closest. I had trouble keeping it closed and getting the light inside to stay off. I told the cleaning lady about it but it didn’t get addressed.
