Metropolitan Hotel Dubai

The staff were extremely helpful. Kamal guided us very well and gave us good dates. The concierge services were extremely efficient and all the staff attended to all our needs in timely manner.

Considering the hotel only has two floors the windows should be cleaned.

The room was spacious and good value for the price.

The walls vibrating at 2 am in the morning. I called the front desk and the gentleman said their was a club that closes at 3am, as if this is normal and an excuse! I asked him "Are you kidding me? We are all paying and want peace, so we can sleep at night and get up rested for the next day.". He promised to have them turn it down, which took even more time. After mid-night, consideration needs to be made for all guests and the music bass be turned down, so the walls are not vibrating and people can get sleep.

The quality of the accommodation totally exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive and gave excellent service throughput the hotel. The standards of cleanliness were impeccable and the daily room cleaning and bed make up were beyond reproach. Although the hotel is located right next to a six lane highway this did not impact on our room with regards to noise due to the excellent sound insulation. The location of the hotel is very convenient for all areas of the city. The staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptional and they all gave us a warm welcome and exceptional service. We rented car during our stay and the hotel offered valet parking the cost of which was included in the room price.

We have never in our life experienced that we have to book a bed for 2 adults and 2 children aged 17 and 14, to come and in the end they give you a room with a large double bed, where they ask you separately for extra payment for the children for the beds. Why then do they ask for the age of the children? when there is no logic for children of the mentioned age to sleep with you of course.

The location was very good, only 20 minutes taxi from all the major tourist attractions. We arrived around 9:30-10 in the morning and staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was tidy and clean throughout and house keeping always kept it that way. Rooftop pool was clean and tidy all the time and was accessible even when our room was not ready yet which was great for the kids. Overall, great first experience in Dubai for me and my family and Metropolitan Hotel made sure I had a good stay and was looked after. Definitely would stay here again.

We had half board but dinner was not always child friendly when it was a buffet. When there is children, ALWAYS have pizza, plain or cheesy pasta, fries, chicken nuggets or burgers. Can never go wrong with this. Would have been a 10 out of 10 but the childrens selection of dinner let the hotel down.

The checking in staff were great. The room was lovely. The location was great. The cleaning staff are so friendly and happy, it shows they love their job and are treated with respect for them to be so happy at work. Everyone should have a chance to meet Alice. An amazing member of the cleaning team who always has a smile on her face! Macdonalds opposite helps for those late night cravings!

Inconsideration of a specific business centre staff member who very rudely and unprofessionally disturbed me whilst I was delivering a live session online. I was considering to host a conference at this hotel until this incident that completely put me off their Business services. My colleague informed the gentleman that I was live online yet he proceeded to tell us off for using the space, despite the fact that we had sought permission to be located there. We ordered room service for breakfast on our last morning and unfortunately it was a let down. The croissants were rock hard and tasteless. Do not recommend the breakfast bakery items.

Staying here for the second time. Staff, food, facilities - everything is fine. The hotel located in a calm place, there is a beach, a grocery/alcohol story and a metro station nearby; overall, the district is good for evening promenades.

Fly in the ointment was the 2nd floor of the hotel - living here you may hear machines (boiler, air conditioning) working on the roof. Mechanical sounds periodically turning on and off may drive you mad if you are sensitive to such things. It should be noted that we were moved to another room on the 1st floor when we reported this problem, and there was no disturbing noise anymore. So ask for a room on the 1st floor if you want a real silent room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Metropolitan Hotel and I can confidently say that it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all of my expectations in every possible way. First and foremost, the staff were outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff members who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were always available to answer any questions I had and were quick to offer suggestions for things to do and places to see in the area. The accommodations themselves were simply gorgeous. My room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and featured all the amenities I could possibly need or want. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with plush towels and toiletries. In addition to the beautiful rooms, the Metropolitan Hotel also had a wide range of fantastic amenities to enjoy. Overall, I cannot recommend the Metropolitan Hotel highly enough. The exceptional staff, stunning accommodations, and excellent amenities all combine to make for an unforgettable experience. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat and encourage anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable hotel experience to give the Metropolitan Hotel a try.

I stayed in the Metropolitan hotel for 5 days with my friend and we are completely satisfied with everything! Thanks to Anju, who has cleaned our room perfectly every day! 🥰 The breakfast was fantastic every morning! Shout out to all cookers, who prepared poached eggs for me!! 👏🏼 The room was really quiet, so we slept well! The location is great - on halfway between Marina and downtown. Metro station is really close by, 10min walk distance. I'll definitely stay again in this hotel when I come to Dubai next time! 😊

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good bathroom. The pool is great and offers views right across Dubai. Look north to Burj Khalifa, west to Burj Al Arab, South towards the big wheel and barasti area.

Pool drinks service was horribly expensive for simple packaged products. My first set of drinks I thought was affordable - a freshly blended juice and a freshly made iced coffee only came to 50dhs. Very good price. However, I then ordered a can of coca cola and a bottle of water and was charged 55dhs! How can a couple of products which cost just 2-5dhs in any store, possibly be charged even more expensive than freshly made juices and coffees!? I travel to Dubai for a few days every couple of weeks and used to live in UAE so I know any hotel would charge just maybe 20dhs for this order.
