Dinorben Arms Hotel0

This was our 2nd visit to the Dinorben and just like last time the breakfast was Excellent, fresh orange juice and as much coffee/cappucino/mocha/latte/tea as you can drink, as much cereal and toast as you like and a full cooked breakfast(sausages, Bacon, eggs, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, fried tomato and black pudding) and its all in with the price of the room which is allready superb value for money. Restaurant food was Exceptional, I will remember the steak and ale pie for the rest of my life! I had it twice! Wifi signal was strong and fast. Staff were great, available and freindly without being intrusive. Room was ample, had everything we needed and was comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping was great, it was lovely to come back after a day at the beach to cumfy beds, a bath/shower, fresh towels and ample tea and coffee while we channel surf on the large TV. I have to give a huge thumbs up to the tireless Veronica and her staff who toil relentlessly to make The Dinorben Arms a home away from home for anyone staying there.

Veronica and Gary are a lovely accommodating couple. Their staff are also very accommodating especially when I un-programmed the TV, they were very helpful. The breakfast was exceptional and kept you full all day nearly. It was nice to be able to make your own toast and hot drinks. We ate tea there and the portion size again was very satisfying. I had the Ham, egg and chips and the ham was delicious. The Dinorben Arms is a very dog-friendly Hotel and I would recommend anyone who has dogs to definitely book here. From the minute you walk in you are treated like an old friend. It is also always warm which was welcoming after being out in the cold. One good tip that Gary told me was that if you have got your clothes wet through being a walker or fell in the sea:) they have dryers and washers to help you out, also that the boiler room is that warm they use it as a drying room as well. I thought that is a brilliant thing to know. I took my own lactose free milk and butter for which I have my own portable fridge but on the very first day, Veronica asked me if I wanted to store it in their fridge which I thought was very kind of Her. Large free on site car park. 2 bar areas and a lounge area to sit in all nicely decorated and comfortable. There are some wonderful Tiffany style table lamps in the breakfast rooms. Not at all expensive especially when you take the food portion sizes into account.

Breakfast was Excellent and included in the very reasonable price, Room was clean and adequate, Staff were freindly and helpful. We only planned to eat at the Restaurant 1 night, but the food was so good, we ate at the dinorben arms restaurant every night we were there. With only one minor exception the staff were fantastic, available but never Intrusive.

Wifi signal was very poor/Non existant in the room we were in which meant that the Smart TV in the room could only give us terrestrial channels, more of an observation than a complaint tbh it didnt effect the great time we had.

Fantastic location, lovely place, lovely hotel, excellent welcome, superb and plentiful food and drink, very friendly and helpful staff, family run and family feel, great local sightseeing tips, pool tables, several very nice lounges and bars, Gary, Veronica and all the team couldn't have been any more welcoming or helpful, all round highly recommended and we'll definitely be back in future

TV faulty but no other issues

The friendliness of staff and locals that frequent the Dinorben Arms made the stay a marvelous experience. The location was ideal for the purpose of going to Amlwch. All my fellow colleagues agreed that we would definitely stay again when the occasion arises. The breakfast was well prepared, piping hot, and plentiful. There was also a good selection for evening meals and these also were well prepared and plentiful. Thank you Dinorben Arms Hotel.

Absolutely nothing. I/we had fantastic value for money

I loved the friendly service and the cleanest of the whole place. The food was excellent and very well priced. They are dog friendly and nothing is too much trouble for the couple. Note: for those who don't particularly like dogs, they wouldn't effect your stay as the eating area is seperate, and also you can drink in a seperate area. If you didn't know they allowed dogs you'd never guess they allowed them in, exceptionally clean, no smells or dog hairs anywhere.

I was happy with it all. Some people may not like the older style.

The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices available. It is only a short walk to the harbour and the various coastal walking paths; didn't get to see any seals, porpoises or dolphins but maybe next time. Golf course close by but didn't get a chance to play there.

Nothing really, room was slightly unusual shape, due to the age of the building, which made it seemed cramped but it wasn't really.

The hotel was beautiful , full of character and charm . The staff were so lovely , fun and welcoming . Breakfast was amazing , good quality bread and cereals , variety of coffees , beautiful full English Lovely little bar open to public , locals friendly and helpful Large smart TV in room . Amazing value for money Everything you can ask for in the immediate area

There is nothing not to like here if you are wanting good quality on a budget

The food is superb and very generous and very well priced. Breakfast is an abundance of everything with amazing bacon and sausages. Dinner again was beautifully cooked and very large portions. But for some poeple, be aware that as I understood it, there is no sweet menu. But who could eat one would be my reply. The room was clean and beautifully furnished. My partner had two minor gripes and they were seen to immediately. It is very much a family run business and it works well. I am looking forward to a future visit.

I think the car park may need a little attention, but it is free and I am sure it will be looked at in due course.

Breakfast was really good as we had a choice of two types of vegetarian sausages which was great. Breakfast was very filling. Owners were very welcoming and accommodated our needs. all the staff were very friendly and helpful.The location was great for what we wanted. The bathroom in our room had been refurbished and was great.

The decor is quite dated but clean, if that does not bother you its great.
