Very peaceful relaxing area, hotel ideally placed overlooking the sea, absolutely stunning view. Room 7 was very clean and comfortable, small bathroom which suited us, had a side view over the hotel grounds and we could see the sea! All the staff were lovely and friendly, the hotel had a homely, comfortable feel, nicely decorated, breakfast (we had full English 😋) very tasty and always hot, we dined in the restaurant both evening's we were there, the panoramic window looks out over the sea - fab, food was lovely, very generous portions, for pudding I had Eton mess which was lovely, but my favourite was the Tirimisu 👌with a shot of expresso on the side. A lovely short stay, our first in Anglesey and won't be our last!

What can we say? There wasn't anything we disliked whilst we were there

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly young lady at reception. Excellent choice for breakfast, generous portions served by our very professional and extremely smiley host, Gill. Breakfast room is very well appointed and with fabulous views of the coast, an absolute delight! Ensuite room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with all facilities. The meals in the evening were again generous, tasty and well presented by friendly staff, all served in the delightful conservatory with glorious sea views. Perfect location for walking the coast path and exploring the local area with ample parking and outdoor seating to enjoy the great views. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Trecastell Hotel, we would certainly return again. Thank you for a lovely break!

Can't honestly think of an improvement

Our room was compact but contained everything we needed including plenty of space for our clothes. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We found all of the staff in the hotel to be helpful and very pleasant. Breakfasts were excellent and plenty to eat. We dined in the hotel too and each of the five dinners we had was well prepared, tasty and chosen from a varied menu. Altogether excellent value for money . It is a hotel where you feel at home and welcome; we will stay again next time we wish to stay on Anglesey.

We had a great 5-night stay at the Trecastell recently, it's in a brilliant location overlooking Bull Bay, with easy access to the coast path on foot, and the rest of Anglesey by road. The room was on the top floor and smaller than expected, but very clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Breakfasts were great, with lots of choice and vegan/veggie options. We ate in the restaurant so we can confirm the food is excellent, with again, plenty of choice. Service throughout our stay was top-notch, very friendly and welcoming and efficient. We'd have no hesitation in returning.

The room was smaller than expected, and quite cramped, that's all.

Wonderful hotel that had a really warm feel to it, like visiting family. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The room was stunning, had an amazing view of the sea, with a sofa in the window perfect for relaxing. The bed was huge, the coffee making facilities were great, big selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. The shower was lovely and hot, the bathroom had a fab mirror with extra lighting for make up. there was a big TV on a bracket, which you could move to either watch from bed or from the sofa. the restaurant is lovely, really tasty home made food, lovely, comforting and filling for a chilly November break! All in all a really relaxing break, highly recommend this place, we will certainly visit again.

Everything was great, there is honestly nothing i can fault about the stay.

My wife has a younger brother who had relocated from Gloucester to Angelsey on retirement and we had visited on two previous occasions once staying in a Farmhouse B&B which was very good, and the second was at Trecastell which was very good also. On planning our third visit we struggled to find accommodation and the Farmhouse no longer offered accommodation and we eventually found that with Trecastell which was a short drive to my wife's brother. Location is good being easy to find. Parking is good. Rooms and facilities are good. If you choose to dine in you will not be disappointed. All staff are welcoming and friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending Trecastell as an excellent choice for a stay.

Ah,! My one and only gripe as a man who shaves is the size of the sink and an annoying glass shelf positioned to obstruct a rinsing of ones face following a wet shave. There was plenty of room for a larger sink and no need for an annoying shelf. If the shower enclosure had a mirror I would have shaved in there. But at least the floor had a daily rinse under the piddly sink. Taking into account no one venue probably fails to achieve top marks in all aspects, we would still choose Trecastells.

Ver nice hotel with great views of the sea and coast. Our bedroom was at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea. It was spacious and nicely decorated and the bed was large and so comfy. Breakfast was superb with great choice. Very friendly host. We did not have an evening meal due to a power surge at the hotel and the owners were still carrying out repairs. This did not upset us as we were offered a refund if we decided not to stay but decided to stay on a B & B basis only.

Outside space a bit run down with old furniture. Some areas of the hotel need updating a little.

The breakfast was delicious. Despite being rather selective in our choice of breakfast, which was chosen the day before by filling a form in, our requests were met perfectly. The breakfast had good quality ingredients and was served hot with a friendly helpful smile. A perfect start to the day.

Our room, Room 2, was very comfortable with a beautiful modern shower room with fluffy towels. Certain pieces of furniture were dated along with the decor, but that did not spoil our stay, which overall was very good, and we will return.

the location is fantastic and the room we had was lovely . The evening meal we had was very nice .

The breakfast wasn’t great . There are only two sittings, 8.00 or 8.45 am which are both too early for us . And it’s clear that all the breakfasts are cooked in advance and kept warm before being served so everything feels a bit dried up . They also won’t bring the toast until after you have had your breakfast. We would prefer it before breakfast. It feels as though breakfast is organised to suit the staff rather than the guests which is a bit worrying.

Excellent service throughout the stay, room 14 extremely comfortable and large with spectacular Views of the cliffs and open sea , breakfast cooked to perfection and plentiful and served with a smile a great start to the day. Hotel complete with a cosy little bar with a large range of alcoholic drinks at competitive prices. Evening meal available and once again did not disappoint menu not extensive but all superbly cooked. All staff was a credit to the hotel, many thanks extended to the cleaning and bar and restaurant staff not forgetting the management team of James and Gill.
